Wonderful place! I wish my husband let me visit more often. The selection of plants is huge and service is really nice. Absolutely recommend this place.

I've been coming here since I was 15 now I'm 37 and this place has everything I need and looking for. I'm so happy this has been around for a long time. From custom arrangements to pick your own outdoor and Indoor plants. I love this place

They have a wide variety of plants and flowers, went in the nursery with a good mood, bought hundreds of dollars worth of products only to be rudely treated at the check out. The tall girl at the check out in black spandex pants and white sneakers is rude and does not know how to treat a paying customer. Will not go there and purchase again.

We contracted with Hicks to do landscaping in our front and back yard. Had a great experience working with Sean on design and picking out plants. Peter and his crew were a delight when they came to plant. Both Sean and Peter were great to work with and answered all of our questions. We are extremely pleased with the end result. Would highly recommend Hicks.

Hicks is the best nursery I've been to from n.h.p. to Greenport. The staff is friendly, know their products, prices and where the product is located, super important! The establishment itself is gorgeous, beautiful, I wanted to pull up a lounge chair and just chill for a while, the atmosphere is quite and peaceful. To the family who owns hicks- job well done you can certainly be proud of the business you created.

But the way the whole place is organized and kept is excellent. The selection of plants is impressive. I went to the garden design center and one gentleman went out of his way to help and inform me! I am super impressed. Will definitely make a trip again.

This place is a barn. Huge. Very wide selection of all plants and planting needs as well as decorations and furniture. Plan to spend some time here and definitely plan to spend some money. Ample parking. Clean restrooms. Lots of staff that pays attention and knows their jobs. A real pleasure.

I love it here!! Prices are fair, all plants are in *pristine* condition, and the staff are amazing. I drive here 50 minutes from Brooklyn as a special treat. Walter, the on-site horticulturalist (!) is generous with plant advice and so helpful. All the staff are awesome and really speak the language of plant and garden lovers. No gatekeepers here. Great prices and selection of indoor plants. Retail prices but amazing inventory of garden supplies.
