Beautiful location. There was 1 type of red wine that was served way too hot. There were food scraps under the table. Very difficult if you have a dog with you. The service was looking forward to it. Not. We asked if the only Merlot available was Italian. Then a deep sigh came and the words "I have been walking all day", after which she walked away and asked where the wine came from. Unfortunately here again service that has no knowledge of wine. 1 plus. The dog got fresh water.

Nicest terrace of WbD. Tasty coffee and apple pie. Excellent break place during motorcycle ride along Lek and Rhine.

It is a very cozy terrace with a beautiful view. Smooth service, tasty lunch and coffee. It is sometimes very busy, but then you wait a while until there is room.
We like to come after a nice bike ride.
Wijk bij Duurstede is also very pleasant.

With a view over the harbor I was able to sit in the shade of the parasol. The restaurant's menu offers a simple choice for the meal. A chicken satay, steak, a burger or some other salads.
I really enjoyed the chicken satay. That was enough. While eating with a well supplied drink. There is friendly staff who think along with you when making a choice.

A wonderful terrace. Friendly service. Very unfortunate that we ordered lemonade for our grandson and that they also had but that we had to pay 2 euros for that.

Beautiful terrace built on the old wall of Wijk bij Duurstede, from where you have a beautiful view over the river Lek. Delicious coffee and apple pie, and very friendly and young staff. Definitely visit this again!

We got to the kitchen at closing time. But could just order. And that at this temperature!
Compliment! Delicious carpaccio salad. Red wine is cooled. Top!

Lovely place with a grand view of the harbor of Wijk bij Duurstede

In good weather (and we had) it is great to stay on the terrace. You have a beautiful view over the harbor. We had lunch there with a delicious beef carpaccio sandwich and a glass of wine. We had to wait a while before the time came. It was therefore very busy (all tables occupied) and that on a weekday. The waiting staff were friendly.

What do you do if you drop a cup of freshly brewed cappuccino on someone? Then you apologize and a new cappuccino on the house !! It can happen to anyone ... but it's how you fix it !!

Nice location at the Wijk bij Duurstede windmill. Delicious food for a good price, plus a beautiful view over the river.

Nice location for a sunny day (since they only have an outdoor location, but no heaters). The staff are very friendly and the food is well prepared. Highly recommended.

The location is very nice on top of the ancient flood wall with view on the river and marina. The service is friendly. We were not satisfied with the food though: chicken half raw and hamburgers bloody cold on the insight. Reaction to the complaint was not world class either.
Bottom line: I will choose a different place for dinner the next time, but might stop over for a drink.

This restaurant is only open when the weather is nice, but when the weather is nice, it is pleasantly busy, you are as it were on the dike wall. The owner has done this very conveniently and you can see everything passing by, because you are upstairs next the on-going road in Wijk bij Duurstede near the mill ad harbor. It is a small but top restaurant, great service and the food is great really highly recommended. Now that we have discovered this, we go there more often.

They didn't have the local beer on the menu. However, bitterballen with which you can throw at passing boats. When the tone is set, the entire terrace takes part. The owner cannot drag the bitterballen.

Delicious eaten. Spicy chicken sandwich is highly recommended!

It's a nice place if motorcyclist there just to get there in a cup of coffee or tea or a delicious lunch. And the beautiful view. There is a very small minus not suitable for wheelchair users.

Most beautiful location in Wijk bij Duurstede. On the old city wall with a view of the stsdshaven river and unique windmill. Good card. Only open in good weather. You can't sit inside.

Always a great place to stop for a drink or a bite after you ride your motorcycle over the dikes.

Apparently, t Terras has a new owner. It certainly has a new impetus. Where it was usually closed in the past and the main appearance was that of a missed opportunity, we were surprised on our last visit by a new decoration and enthusiastic service. What remains unchanged is the view, previously perhaps the only reason to come back. Now it is one of the plus points that gives me an excuse to go back.

Sitting nicely, the ladies of the ministry at the very top kept an eye on the empty glasses to fill them quickly again.

Recently ordered a breadboard with drinks at 't Terras. It consisted of only a few factory slices of toasted bread, thin and of inferior quality. The spreads were aioli of mediocre taste and quality, not even olive oil but some plant oil and tapenade. Also, the bread was nowhere near enough with the spreads. I asked for a little extra bread, which was immediately added to the bill. That has never happened to me before.

Mojito is a bit watery, and the promised bread is not included in the garlic gambas, prawns? This is shrimp sized and I think 6 pieces for 9.50 are spicy at the price. Nice view though

Waitresses are friendly. The food left much to be desired. It is expensive and you get small portions. On the snack board lay 1 toasted white bread cut into 4 pieces to divide 3 slices of beef sausage and a container with a lot of aioli. When asked if we could get some more bread they looked difficult. Finally, after a long wait, 1 toasted white bread cut into 4 pieces was added. Have to pay extra for it. My husband's blonde aquitaine steak was way below par. 12 cm long and 1.5 cm thick. Gamble 120 grams. Would 180 gr. must be. After saying something about it, the answer was that this was the butcher's fault. When my husband went to talk to the chef during checkout, he said it was a loss of baking. My husband is a cook so knows very well how to reserve a steak. You don't get value for money. A nice view over the harbor.

Gorgeous village. Lot's of Gallery's. Food was delicious. The park has a very nice tracks to walk and even a moment to sit and enjoy the environment.
