The Hesed House is a good place for homeless people to eat and sleep until they get back on their feet. Your staff are all really friendly, and I can't say thank you enough for giving me the resources I need to find both employment and a future home while I stay here.
I am Christian an we have been volunteer in this place. This place is a GOD blessing for vulnerable people.
Extremely helpful for people that do not have a place to live. They feed you three meals a day and give you a bed and a locker to keep your things in, laundry facilities etc. Very grateful to these people for helping out my dad during a very tough time
Thank you all for your support to this establishment. I lived at the Hesed House with my mother and brother throughout middle school and some of my high school years. Definitely learned a lot about life and becoming a man as a teen while there. Please continue to support the Hesed House and the people you encounter. To uplift someone in a time like that shows true character and creates character. Please also take the time to get to know the different people at the facility. Simple conversations can be life changing. Time is precious, thank you for give some of yours when I was there. Thank you to the staff and people, CPT. Christopher A. Jones, MPH
Assisting those in need, at a time when a lot of Helping hands are needed.
called yesterday to ask what kind of items they take for donations, dropped of 2 bags of winter coats, please any if you can donate in all sizes I was completely unaware children of all ages also live there. after going yesterday I saw strollers and toys outside, I pray everyone gets back on there feet, and really thank God for places like these where they can shelter people. I called today to see what other items they are taking, the lady who answered said for the holiday they will only accept new toys in box. they accept food ( not expired) clothing, ect. please if anyone reads this and can donate food and for the winter coats please do so. when entering the facility there will be a large white moving truck where you can drop of your items, you don't have to go inside if you dont want to it is right in front of the building, the food must be dropped off at door B.
They do great things for people that are struggling and need help. If you can donate to help them keep on their mission that would be great.
Donated 30 meals, sweet rolls and 6 cases of pop. Great people getting assistance and assisting. Thanks to VFW Batavia for the supplies.
If you can and when they start receiving items again, please donate your new and gently used clothing for adults, children and babies. The work they do helps many. Also, volunteer if you can. Of course, they can always use money. Thanks y'all.
