I recently had my first homeowners insurance claim due to a leaking shower pan at my home. I called Heritage Property Insurance when the leak was first discovered. Heritage was extremely responsive to the issue and had a technician out to my house the next day (David Miranda). David's job was to make sure that the water damage was minimalized, educate me on the problem, and give me guidance on the process going forward. David communicated with me over the next week and stopped by my residence several times to make sure the problem was being resolved and his equipment was effectively drying out the problem areas. Heritage, David, and the desk adjuster Donelis have been great and exceeded my expectations throughout the process thus far. Its hard to find the customer service that Heritage has provided me regarding my claim and would strongly recommend their company to friends, family, and the public.

I wish I could say customer service was poor, however, there was absolutely NO customer service once so ever. Absolutely terrible. Katia Templar is the agent "working" my claim and she has not answered a single one of my phone calls or responded to any emails. To give you prospective, the claim was filed 3 weeks ago. If you have any option, stay away from Katia Templar or ask for a different adjuster. Still not even sure if she is a real person.

Worst customer service ever! Canceled my policy (the past few months has been an absolute nightmare as a result trying to get new insurance, argue with Heritage, etc) and will not return calls/emails to supervisors, underwriters and executive staff.
Ruled by the Florida Insurance commissioner for policy reinstatement, however the company still refuses to call me per my request as they assured me previous premiums would be returned to me. I have never met a company who cares less about their clients, extremely poor business ethics, communication, etc (the list could go on and on). Complaint filed with the state and BBB thus far, more complaints to follow until I hear from executive staff.
