It's a pretty great hotel with a convenient location.

Very clean nice and respectfull gsr. Quiet well equiped. Just a little on the expensive side

The last few weeks this place has went down hill.Casey,Mario,Kristina,Drew is all so helpful.I have watched guest get treated so poorly here. Head of housekeeping Denae was so very rude to guest here.you would think something would be done about the rudeness of a housekeeper couldn't never contact management or corporate..Not only note employees fixing on cars in parking lot my family will not be attending this place again.

When I stay here I feel very comfortable! Always leave happy!

The room smelled llvery chemically and gave me a headache and the shower was way too hot and wouldnt cool down had to schald myself to get clean

A bit limited parking. Rooms were nice and well kept! Enjoyed the look and feel of the rooms as well.

I love how uplifting the lobby is with the holiday decorations

I was assigned a room, it was OCCUPIED. Got a key to another room...SAME THING. So, unless you like that they may give a stranger a key to your room, I wouldn't recommend. Cleanliness was a 3/5. The bathroom wasn't clean.

Came to town to see a show, and this was very conveniently located near the venue downtown. Walked to dinner and the concert, back quickly when everything was over. Did not try breakfast, but I know they offer one. All in all, for my needs.

This hotel was absolutely the worst place any one can work at and to say the rooms were trashed not clean right the staff were disrespectful.when u quit they don't even give you your check it's a Hassel to get it. The garbage cans on the side are full pools dirty breakfast isn't even breakfast they serve the same thing almost every day. And yea I give that hotel a 1 and that's being geberous. I wouldn't suggest going to this hotel.

Bed was not made. Appliances unplugged. Air conditioner did not work, & exposed ground wires from air conditioner were bunched up on floor. People in other rooms were excessively loud. We left after less than 5 minutes. Absolutely disgusting! To top it off, they refused to refund the room!

STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!!

I recently stayed at the Heritage Inn Express in downtown Chico the stay was great except for the fact that they moved me into a room with no Wi-Fi and it's me Wi-Fi is the up most important quality or any of any hotel that killed the stay or any enjoyment I may have been having.

While the place had a good location and was pretty comfortable it was definitely a little sketchy. Pretty clean though.

I have the most respect for the employees there who helped me . The owner not so much or the mng team they screwed up from tbe start did not professionally handle any of the mistakes made in there part. I came in as a victim witness and catalysts I told them idbbe stsyingband to please keep an eye out for me I gotnthe price of 74 dollors when it was 90 for a night with geico awesome rt ....wrll yah but they were supposed to lut two nights on wells Fargo card and 10 on emerald green card. Some and eat since I signed a one time use with them . Not to use it again . They over charge my friend Dave snd refu ded him and charged me again 400 for his over charge . Owner getting upset with all this mistake he called me in to iffice afterbuve already been through do so much already I'm questioned. I simply just want tonsray the reservation I made at 74 dollorsvand I was told if I scedule by manager a week stay hell give it to me for 64 because the first two nights I'm there my window got broken out and thu gs stolen . I was told there was a camera where I was parked . I asked to look at film and excuse was I'm we o my keep takes 24 he's . Then .aintenanxe came by and I asked about the cameras he said they haven't worked for montha . So I let that go . I paid for a week in on emerald card and to be exact w0 days I was charged fkr 10 days us every day after 6 I wss charged again and card ran for daily amount rd. I was not given what I wss promised and no accomidations for me what's So ever . the took the enitiative to charge my cards both and keep charging them after I told them not to . And notice when I jad to dispute them they charged me 94 dollors dollars for most nights then 120 for rest and changed the special rate with me as no notice or letting me k iw no authirization they just charge happy . Over drew my account at wells Fargo and told me I need to check out no extended stay and I tried to check back in they were book out two weeks caue of oroville danm . So they have 4 wks of pay and I stayed 10 days and my account empty my son and I cryi g tryi g to get Into a room somewere we sat at the corner store worried and cold . We had no where to go they kicked us out and were were unsafe . No money and no help . Returned to get a few more night stay it was son favorite place forgave what went on . To find iut they canceled my booking and lies and lied said there were no rooms . I called as someone else there were room availabme . They blamed error on expedian and I was very upset I called corporate . They refused reservation from me . Well went to best western stayed a ight . And they like me . The morning after they told me Ramada black listed me and there putting my name in the list . Wow really . Calli g corporate again . And I wint stio till they take that odf . I'm calli g DA victim witness program letting them know snd better business. It needs to be accommodated and I will. It be black listed in hometown I live . For ykur mistake. I work at Feather river hospitAl . If they k iw what's good they will fix this and reimburse me

Couldn't get the TV to work and towels were wet (don't know why ) no answer from front desk. I had to go down and could not get fresh towels, sad

The most rude employees ive ever had the displeasure of dealing with in a long time.

They will steal your deposit. They said that they had video evidence of me smoking in my room when I kept my curtains closed.so they have cameras in the room? They stole my $50 deposit through sheisty tactics. Don't stay here

The rooms are nice and they have bathtubs not just showers

Dirty , people are out and about all hours of the nite but it's better than nothing

Rooms could be cleaner, and smelled of cigarette smoke when we first checked in.

The beds are not very comfortable. The last visit, our TV either didn't work or there was some complex system involved that was not explained anywhere. We've had accommodations issues, here, more than once, but they are usually pretty good about making it up to us.

OK place for the money charged. Clean enough n rudimentary breakfast. Next time though I'd rather pay a little more for a nicer place.

Broken TV, broken phone broken bed not very comfortable

Not good at all. Mould in bathroom, beds were hard and lumpy. Made other arrangements and left on day 2 rather than spend the whole week. yucky!

The Heritage Inn Express at Chico has cheated me of one nights' charges and has falsely accused me of being a "no show." The Heritage Inn Express-Chico (hereafter, hotel ) has refused to remove an invalid charge to my credit card resulting from a reservation that I validly cancelled. The facts are these:

On January 1, 2018, I made an online reservation at Hotel for one night, to commence January 27, 2018, for a charge of $112.88. The reference number for that reservation is 7759168.

On January 18, 2018, online, I cancelled the reservation. The cancellation number is 861957739. In order to make a valid cancellation, it had to occur 24 hours before the commencement of the stay. My cancellation was made 9 days before the stay and was clearly valid.

The hotel made a tentative charge to my credit card of $164.07, an incorrect amount as well as an invalid charge. This charge finally posted, on January 30, as $114.07, equally incorrect and invalid.

I made three phone calls to the property; they are documented on my mobile phone. On each occasion the person answering the phone claimed not to have the authority to deal with the incorrect charge and said I would have to speak to the manager. The manager, however, was never available, nor was the desk clerk apparently able to relay a message to said manager.

When my credit card issuer contacted the manager, she responded with an illiterate, poorly worded "rebuttal" which did not dispute any of my facts but simply called me a "no show."

I resent my treatment at the hands of this property and I do not believe you do any favors to your visitors by recommending it.

Room smelled like smoke when it was supposed to be non smoking

We were at the front desk or 20-30 minutes and no one ever showed up. We even called and no message came on and the phone just rang and rang. Others were calling in too. We finally left and went to another place in town.

Booked 11 days in advance, showed up with printed confirmation email, my name and reservation number were even successfully in their computer, but they told me I couldn't have a room because "someone must have forgotten to enter it into the system or accidentally deleted the email" in the words of the desk worker. Plenty of other competition out there so I will never be choosing this company again.

Because I paid cash and not my debit card . my two night turned into one night stay at $113.00 that's with tax plus $33.00 refund deposit. Two night stay reservation was $66.00a night plus tax$157.00plus $33.00 pet deposit. All because I paid cash.this isn't the 1st time they charged me more.

We saw a roach crawling on the wall and there was dog hair in the bed. We left and they refunded our money.

Had a great experience here recently. The place has really cleaned up nicely. Denah was very professional and had a nice way of running things I felt like I was recieveing five star service for much cheaper. I can wait till my work brings me out this way again I look forward to staying here again.

I checked in on a Friday night when I first tried to check the front desk person could not find my reservations because I had made them on the website of the hotel but she was very apologetic about it and helped me find a room and was very helpful I really like this hotel because of it's close proximity to downtown and it's very quiet I can't wait to stay again soon if I had the means to I would rent a room for another day I was here for two days but wish I could have a 3 ed over all a very good experience

Loud guests including a barking dog front desk did nothing.

Do not stay here unless one extra $108 charge to your account and then mysteriously forget about the $75 he paid for the room in cash plus try to hundred dollar cash deposit it's about $375 I got all but 100 back and it was the manager and I did it 15 September

This is basically a Days Inn. Lots of damaged furniture and fixtures. Barely worth the cheap cost. Pit bulls running around in the office during business hours was probably not a good sign either.

House keeper Shannon is the best but the manager I believe her name is angie is one of the most lazy and does not appear to have any idea on how to manage anything let alone a hotel that's just something I noticed staying there often .

Room was quite spacious and clean enough. However, it was rather noisy.

One of the nicer hotels in the chico area. One that wont break your bank atleast.

The hotel accidentally did not book us even though an email was sent to me saying our rooms were booked and paid for. So here we are an hour later still looking for a room.

Hotel staff friendly, location was good. The rest was a mini nightmare. Bedbugs attacked, spend money on sprays and creams to recover. Carpet dirty, WiFi reluctant, bathtub grimy, breakfast bare essentials, not the best experience as hotels go...

Messed up booking, dirty, stunk, way overpriced, needed maintenance in bathroom, very poor upkeep, remote didn't work, overall a very unpleasant stay - never again.

Room smelled bad, the mattresses were old and broken and the beds made creaking noises so loud that it wakes you up whenever someone moves. The pillows were as thin as a plate and the heater didn't work. House keeping wasn't there so we couldn't get other pillows because front desk won't go. And the heater couldn't be fixed because "maintenance doesn't get there till the day time."
The shower was the only positive here because it had hot water and pressure.

Dirty rooms. It is in the middle of transient central. Found a loaded drug needle on the side walk. Sad. Staff was friendly but overall this is a place to only stay if you are desperate.

Currently, not the best place in town. But when current circumstances change, it is a decent hotel.

This is overall a decent place to stay especially for what you get out of your money. We got a suit for two nights, $75 a night witch is a great price for a suit but the breakfast isnt really a breakfast. The room was great and the beds are soft. But overall if you are looking for a place to stay in chico for a couple nights for a budget price this is a great place.

Terrible is not really pet friendly especially for place for dog to potty. Shower handle broke so had to wait for maintenance except for my husband fixing it temporarily so we could turn it in
Breakfast was a joke. Cereal but no milk not much juice, uncovered muffins. TV didn't work

Phenomenal experience with the Heritage Inn Express The Guest Service Attendant Rose has only been working here six days but it seems like she has been here for years! She has a warm, friendly attitude and she went above and beyond for us

It's been a nice stay...and I like it very much. Thank you to all the nice people who work here. It's been hard to loose my home due to the Campfire disaster, it's nice to sleep in a clean bed every night. May the New Year bring a welcome change to the world for all that have lost their homes. God bless and keep everyone positive and safe.

Good place if you just need a nap loud people stay hear don't expect to sleep in

Top-notch establishment, great staff Second To None cleaning crew. Close to downtown Chico, I highly recommend staying here.

Outstanding customer service from Kelly & Ross. Rooms out dated. Carpet and linens need replaced. Clean & comfortable rooms. A+ manager.

-Upon arrival, my room was not ready until approximately 6pm. -I was delayed at the front desk by 30 minutes due to another guest having check-in issues and both staff saw to them first. -The staff complained constantly about their peers quitting or callong in sick. -The room, their suite, was not lit well, only one of the two air conditioners worked, the rugs had a lot of old stains on them. -The Jacuzzi tub had weird brown stains on the jets. -The lace smelled old. -The location was horrid. Homeless sleeping on the sidewalk across the street, a very active massage parlor is one block down and other "ew" factor things. -Parking spaces are almost too thin. The lot is also pretty snug. -I won't go into details about electrical or fire code issues we observed. -When the other hotels in town are full, there's a reason this one might have rooms.

Specifically choose a NON-SMOKING room yet upon arrival, the room smelt as if someone smoked an entire carton of cigarettes in the room that day. Room wasn't very clean. Only choose this hotel due to all others being filled up, but would not recommend if there are other open options around.
