Henzells Agency Review

A huge thank you to Danielle and the crew in the holiday let team! I've been letting out my Golden Beach House with Henzells for over 2 years and have been so impressed that I have listed another property with you! During this time I have had terrific service from the team who are always ready to help with nothing ever too much trouble. Its lovely to be able to relax in the knowledge that they are taking care of business!

My family and i were looking for a rental property through you guys...And couldn't help but feel like we were being judged and pushed aside....
Now with a approximately 3 or 4 applications not one of them were processed and sent to the owner....We know this because none of our References were contacted...Neither of mine or my partners workplace was contacted as well....Also previous landlord's not contacted either...Not sure if Michelle just didn't like us...We had great experiences with other real estates.
Now every other Real Estate is getting back to us and letting us know progress and whether we were successful or not.....
My family and i have only been on the coast for a year and half and we are only renting to see if we liked it here.....We will be buying a couple of properties in the next 12 months..if we decide to stay now....and we will not be looking to go through Henzells which is a shame as we were told by locals that you guys are a BIG NAME up here......
We are now in a rental paying 700 a week....
This could have easily have been yours if your employer had have maybe done half of her job....
And we are now in the process of selling our home in Sydney to buy up here...

Adam knows the market well, he is a true professional and is easy to work with. Sold our property in less than two weeks.

Do not rent your property through this company, they are likely to send a photographer to your house (which you left clean) who will leave mud & grass from your front bottom stair and throughout your house!!!! Then not to mention the urine he left in our toilet not flushed, but wait there is more- the agent taking more then their fair share of commission until questioned about it. This company is an absolute joke, I would not recommend it at all! Avoid it if you can!!!!

I love working with this agency. They run a smooth operation and really care about their clients. It's no surprise they've been around for over 80 years!! A great success.

Our experience with Nadia has been absolutely fantastic! From our initial contact at the open house, Nadia was welcoming and friendly, professional in appearance and manner, knowledgeable about the property and local area and was happy to follow up with any enquiries we had about the property with the builder/seller. Throughout the house purchase process, Nadia has been in regular communication with us to help sort out any queries or requests in a prompt and pleasant manner. She has also been very accommodating and gone out of her way to organise times that suit us to meet up or access the property. Overall, Nadia has provided excellent service and been a pleasure to deal with. We are now excited to be moving into our new home, and grateful to Nadia for making the process such a smooth one. Would definitely recommend Nadia s services to anyone.

Jonathan is a very professional property manager. He has managed our clients who are based interstate and made investing in property easier for them. He is very efficient and we are always happy to refer our clients to him. They are in very good hands with Jonathan.

Brad has a sound knowledge of the the local ares that we were interested in & around Golden Beach & Pelican Waters. He was able to give good practical advice in all aspects of our sale & the process as we are from Victoria & things are a little bit different there. I highly recommend this Team to take care of all your needs.

One of your drivers with the number plate HEN19 flipped me the middle finger. Very unprofessional especially in a company car. Now if anyone asks me if I've heard of Henzells, all I'll think of is "that man who flipped me off".

Would give them a 0 if there was one there the appatment we stayed at was very run down fans didnt work fridge didn't keep things cold dishwasher leaked all over the floor toaster only worked with 2 slices of toast not 4 washing machine only worked on one speed oven burnt everything so hot in the appatment at moffit beach grandaughter got sick the holiday from hell over xmas and very expensive would never deal with these people again extremely dissapointed

As a tenant, we're sometimes...most often, overlooked as we're not really the "client"/revenue makers...$$$. However, the Staff at Henzells Caloundra, have ensured we, the tenants, are treated with respect, brilliant service and understanding; The PMs are phenomenal at what they do!

Selling my family home I loved for over 15 years was an extremely emotional time for me but Brad Judd was like a fresh breath of air and handled the entire sale of my property with complete honesty and professionalism. I first met Adam a few years ago, over the front fence as he was doing the hard yards, the foot slog of Real Estate, in the neighbourhood. He continually kept me informed of the Real Estate in my neighbourhood. He had a caring personality and always gave me his time, and after a recent bad experience with an Agent we engaged Adam to sell our home. He sold our home to a lovely couple with 24 hours, he identified a legal issue and took it on himself to ensure all parties were treated with the same respect. He is a person who has the love of his job, full of all the knowledge necessary, is professional at all time and I am now more than a client, I am his friend. Just the best Real Estate Agent anyone could ever wish to be responsible for the care and sale of your most valued possession, your home.

Terrible service. Christmas accommodation rented with electrical problems, dirty, little care given to enable guest was comfortable. No after hours service at all.

The worst property manager I have ever encountered!! Mikaela was the most immature and unprofessional property manager I have ever encountered. Never answered calls, never followed up Enquiries, forgot to send entry notices so repairs would enter the home without legal right... The list goes on. No one I know will ever rent or buy off this office due to the lack of professionalism. Disgraceful.

John has been very patient with us, when we couldn t decide on the house to buy... He understood what we wanted and waited for the right house to come along for us to inspect.!!! He did an amazing job and found us our beautiful home! Thank you John for being patient, professional and approachable!

Honestly the best company to rent through. We had some personal issues occur during our tenancy and they were always there to help. Great communication. Michelle is the most professional and caring person and we appreciate everything she has done for us!

Never Ever use these bunch of Hillbillies , their property are awe full they rude and atrocious and hide fees.
They charged us extra for not leaving the apartment stinking like it was when we arrived.

If your needing a real estate agent to manage & take care of your investment property.... go elsewhere!
Poor Management doesnt even describe what you recieve from your fees... your left with thousands of $ worth of damage to your property plus it was unmaintained & filthy! Poor inspections & tennants are blatantly favoured over owners. No fairness or enforcement to protect owners against damage or non- compliance of returning the property as recieved ( with exception of fair wear & tear). A very sad, costly & negative experience.

John has great communication skills that help facilitate our property purchase.
John was very helpful to us as buyers. He was able to supply information that enabled us to put forward an offer and buy our house. John was quick to reply and arrange inspections working around our schedule. We appreciated that he went beyond expected to help us on moving day. We highly recommend John Boyle for his energy and enthusiasm and local knowledge.

Great Experience
Brittany is an excellent agent. Her knowledge of the local area is amazing. She is very efficient and has ensured that everything goes smoothly. It has been an absolute delight to be able to buy our new property with Brittany. We would highly recommend Brittany.

Henzells (Caloundra) are the most professional rental agent I have rented from in over 50 years of renting properties in Qld. They have excellent product knowledge, customer service, awareness of their obligations in an industry that balances rights of owners and tenants. The agency works towards outcomes that benefit all parties.

I know real estate - and this one is the best! Without a doubt these guys do a sensational job in both sales and rentals. I recommend them to everyone, especially if reliable and good old-fashioned service is important to you like it is to me and my family. You can't go wrong with Henzells :)

Absolutely useless, many more qualified agencies in Caloundra that can and actually will help. Would give zero star if possible. Don't waste your time with their rubbish and deceit!

From the moment I met Clare Thompson, it was clear to me her knowledge of what the market was doing (no BS) in the Caloundra area. Her bright, positive and professional personality is what sold me too, as I had appraisals from 5 local agents and as Clare's appraisal was the highest I truly believed Clare Thompson and also Brittany McCurdy were capable of meeting this. And meet this they did. (The lowest 2 appraisals were over $70,000 less than what I got). I have never dealt with real estate agents working so hard with their marketing skills and follow up communication as Clare and Brittany. I have no hesitation recommending these two beautiful, professional ladies for selling your home.

Very successful marketing and sale of our larger than usual suburban home
Brad's initial advice and ongoing support for the sale of our 1500+ square metre lot with extensive gardens and a larger than usual older home were first class and with his negotiations resulted in a sale in a matter of weeks, to the satisfaction of all parties.

A friend of mine was treated very poorly by this agency after renting an apartment through them. They were charged $40 for extra cleaning even though the unit was not left dirty. Be careful.

Our experience with Adam
We found Adam to be very friendly and approachable. He was good to communicate with and very responsive when we had queries or requests. Adam made the whole purchasing process a little less stressful and we found him to be an attentive agent.

Whilst Danielle Smithson claims it s a team effort, as an absentee landlord relying on remote control service for my holiday rental, I confirm the team has given prompt, efficient & above average assistance to my property & I strongly recommend Danielle & the Company.

Only place to go when wanting a house they go out of their way especially Brad

Be warned fellow citizens these guys Henzells are a business you do not want to work with.

What a bad experience!
I had an inspection appointment and when I arrived the agent wasn't there. A neighbour told me that she heard there was a problem with the key or something so the agent couldn't get into the property so she left.
No calls or txt to let me know about this and when I called to the office, the first response has been "you are late, she has done the inspection already", second response "she is not in the office yet, she will contact you".
More than 25 min driving to see that property and that is it. Unbelievable. I have much more to do than waste my time like this. No way I'm coming back to see it.

Friendly & exceptional service. Fantastic group for holiday let. Unit 2 Kings Edge, 11/1-18/1

I have been asking this company for 18 years, (since we purchased our home) to remove my address from their database. The previous owner must have made an inquiry once. Fobbing off and excuses about 3rd parties is nonsense, clearly they do not listen to potential customers, as I will never use them on the Sunshine Coast. So finally, remove the address at The Gap, 4061, from Iris Wallis's details.

I made an enquiry through realestate.com.au years ago for a property sold by Henzells on the Gold Coast - I somehow ended up on the Sunshine Coast (and other branches) mailing list and have been spammed ever since. I tried to unsubscribe and emailed asking to be removed from their mailing list. All to no avail. Unfortunately, I have to check my email spam folder constantly as a lot of legitimate email ends up there, so there's no way to avoid it. After years of constant spam emails, I highly recommend you don't trust Henzells with your personal details.
