Short hair blonde lady bad customer service. Earlier I had asked for a blanket for my mother who is in line waiting to be seen. It's cold, and the fact she was so LAZY to go grab it while it's like a 5+ hours wait. Seriously

I'm from Minneapolis Minnesota 29 years old born in 1989 every time I come to the emergency room it seems like there's a new doctor not a steady doctor at all the one that just saw me was pretty young very rude did not help me at all with my pain even though online and says they help with minor injuries and she specifically told me she only helps with big things right now I am in the lobby waiting for my discharge papers and a work form to show my job luckily I have an appointment in Richfield at a different location for Hennepin county sucks everyone knows this check reviews serious.

Unfortunately the wait here is long. Brought in someone who is a pediatric patient and it still takes so long. This place is severely understaffed. Not even with someone experiencing abdominal pain every five minutes to the point they can t breath normal.

Having visited initially in 2007 due to a near fatal bicycle accident, I have the utmost PRAISE & adoration for the high level of sympathy & expertise. Thank you for saving my, & many other patients' lives everyday. #HCMCSaves #StillStanding

Horrible. Doctor spent 5 minutes with me discharged me and put me in this acute psychiatric ward and was treated awful. Thankfully I was released at 5:30 am. I was called a liar and told I didn't know my own social security number.

Going to this ER is always both long waits or a hit or miss on what type of care you receive, sometimes you get a Doctor that truly care about you but on the other hand you could get a Doctor that treats you like just another patient that they need to get rid of so I would try other er frist unless you need to come to hcmc

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. Was sent here by urgent care only to wait four hours in the waiting room amongst others experiencing the same mistreatment. Was given pain medication while waiting which made me nauseous and sick. After puking in the bathroom, I had to find my own barf bag and water. I was stranded there until someone could come get me cause I could not drive on the medicine and was never able to see a doctor for my severe back pain.

My daughter presented to the Hennepin County Medical Center ER Triage last night with complaints of chest pain and shortness of breath. The triage nurse told her Oh honey, you re just having a panic attack and didn t do an EKG or any other evaluation for over an hour. My daughter felt like she was treated like a drug seeker and her potential condition didn t seem to matter. Following her extremely uncomfortable and potentially life threatening mishandling by the triage nurse, she was treated quite well. The rest of the care team was appropriate and professional. Fortunately, she was not having a cardiac event, but it was a serious problem. My daughter who accompanied her is a cardiac intensive care nurse and has worked in the ER. I am a retired Mayo Anesthesiologist and both she and I were shocked and furious that an appropriate response to chest pain did not occur. There are very clear standards of care for a chest pain presentation in the ER and Hennepin dropped the ball.

If you have any possible choice, do not got to this hospital for care. The nurses are overworked so they have little time to respond to patient needs and medication is rarely dispensed on time, the surgical staff is also overworked and has little to no time to talk to the patient about the surgery and recommended after care. They don't care about pain management, you get your pain meds when they have time, not when they are due and you ask for them, even if your nerve block wore off and you're in extreme pain. If you call after your surgery with a fever and excessive pain they will tell you to wait for your two week follow up even though you had a high risk crush injury that they were unsure about its success. You might end up in another ER facing an infection and a potential limb amputation because they didn't give you antibiotics and they left your degloved wound open and bleeding for over 4 hours in the ER.

Have a major emergency.
Keep transferring me to operator and they keep transferring me to places not open.
