UPDATE: After sending multiple emails and trying to reach them through social media, a customer service person took care of the issue. They have since corrected the problem in their system and have extended the paper delivery by a month for all the trouble I went through.
This newspaper has the worst customer service. I have now spoken with 3 people, the last one a supposed supervisor. After I was on hold for 37 to reach him, he told me his system was down and that I had to call back. Unacceptable. I am now waiting for a supervisor to call me back. We ordered a 13-week subscription and they stopped it early. Was told that a $4.95 activation fee was deducted from the fee we paid. What?! If I pay a flat fee to receive a newspaper, there is no activation fee deducted. It is included in the fee you charge for the subscription. We are also being told we are in a grace period. How are we in a grace period when the subscription doesn't end until September 4th?! This isn't the first time this company has messed up our newspaper subscription. Very dissatisfied.
