This Company is awful! No customer.service at all!! Claims adjuster Xy is rude, unprofessional, bold, fast talking adjuster who should be FIRED for the way she conducts herself over the phone. Maybe I should March myself down there and meet her in person and give her a piece of my mind. Got nowhere with this company after complaining about Xy to her immediate supervisor whose name is Lori getting nowhere with these people. If you can choose another insurance company for your business go elsewhere don't go here!
For years, HEMIC was the only Workman's Comp. Insurer in the State of Hawaii available for roofing contractors, and they realized that fact that they had a monopoly on our trade and gouged us for it mercilessly. They perform mandatory annual audits on top of it and would cost us tens of thousands of dollars on top of the already ridiculously high fees.We had zero claims and never got a break. ProService, a local HR/Payroll firm recognized this finally and offers a much better and affordable insurance for Workman's Comp. Best thing I did was switch over. Also, beware HEMIC is still demanding $20k for an audit that was performed after we switched and is threatening to sue us. Worst experience doing business in Hawaii!!!
