customers not permitted to use the toilet, even though they even have a cafe besides the store. unacceptable that a store like Hema refuses to meet the most basic needs of their clients!
Other than that, the products are often designer knock offs / low quality made in china stuff, but OK for some basics.

Hema Ferdinand Bolstraat is an exception in the chain. Plenty of staff, always fast and eager to help you. Wide variety of products from make up, houseware to gourmet deli and a great bakery. This Hema is a delight and only 2 blocks from the famous Albert Cuypmarket!

Best customer service. The assistants are always smiling and helpful

Very good chain of HEMA on the busy Ferdinand Bolstraat in De Pijp, Amsterdam. Great, reasonably priced department store chain with an extensive selection of clothes, food, homewares, cosmetics and more.

For me the food is the highlight although I bought some nice leather gloves on sale too.
You have to try the rookworst and it is well worth taking a few of the shrink wrapped ones home if you don't live in the Netherlands.

They are delicious and worth a visit to any branch of HEMA if for no other reason than to try what can only be described as a gourmet, yet far meatier version of a hot dog, simply served on bread with plenty of mustard! Amazing!

Hema have all the basics that you beed each time, is a always going one

I like the Hema, great for having a mooch about in, lots of different things for the home, family and friends. One of those places that you can always find something to buy!

Always nice to help. Varied range. My compliments to the lady at customer service. Today a young man stood very close to me at the checkout. I felt very sorry for it and repeatedly asked him to give me some personal space. He refused that. She stood up for me. Unfortunately, there are occasionally some types who do not respect women, but here the staff is attentive.

Small department store, with some grocery food and a snackbar. ATM mashines for Eiros at no cost. Close to the Albert Kuyp Market and Ferdinand Bol straat, which is a great street, little coffeeshops forctea and coffee, drugstore , restaurants, Rialto cinema, etc.

Hema is one of my favorite stores. Since I no longer live in the city, I also shop a lot online. But now I was on the spot again. the offers from last week's sale were over. However, there was still a sign. this made it seem as if the sale mer the color codes with -50% with a yellow sticker and -70% with a blue sticker were still in force (there were more remnants of the sale, with a red sticker with sales price that were still When I asked if for a dress that did not have a ticket attached, the same price was the same in a size larger, I was informed that the promotion was over. When I subsequently pointed to the action board (without date), the gentleman was taken off the shelf and he said "that is also from last week". then he ran away quickly. I have learned that as soon as a store has (or still has) a wrong price with the products, they also have to sell it for that price. Before they remove it. I didn't even get the chance to say that, sir had already flown it. I was standing there with a basket full of clothes for which the original price once again applied, which I had just spent an hour on because it seemed to be still sale ... very bland, customer-friendly and a waste of my time.

Only sell junk, so if you want to buy something go to the Blokker or something. At least there you will find products that you should not throw away after a while. You can return the product if it is broken, but they always come up with an excuse why they should not take the product.

I love Hema for its versatility, the kind of stuff it keeps for everyone's need. this one is a smaller outlet but not tiny, it still has all the basic stuff and in fact had some good offers going on. The staff was helpful and assisted in making the final decisions.

Had bought too much paper and wanted to return it without a receipt. I was told at this location that I could not return anything to Hema without a receipt, even though it was unopened and had a large Hema on it. At another location it was no problem. Irritating.

Top notch stuff, the stores have been revamped, it just works. Questions are promptly answered and the cashiers take their time to make sure you are satisfied.

It's OK. Not more than that. Most items are expensive and can be found in other places in cheaper prices.
