Heartland Park Topeka Review

I grew up racing here with my family and it has always been a great track to race at during the racing season. Whether its a national event, a divisional event, or a bracket race its always a good time. The facility is huge, large pit area and great staging lanes. The track is great, almost anyone you ask will say the same. The new owners have really cleaned the place up and have fixed some minor issues. Its a good time here and I highly recommend.

Not welcomed in a manner I would have expected! Staff was rude and disrespectful to us as for someone at the facility. Totally surprised. I would not go out of my way to race there. I would avoid it in the first place. As a business, management should be the ones who show customer service, the staff will follow. Always remember who pays your bills. Ron Augustine Ault, CO

Favorite racetrack I've ever been to. Workers are so polite and track is kept very clean. Everyone is very kind and willing to help. Facility is very nice and you can tell that it is taken good care of.

The event was really unorganized. Due to change in the schedule. but all in all it was a nice place to hang out. there's a few places for shade cuz it was really really hot. would love to go back to this place to see more races. Vendors were pretty reasonable in price. And the price to get in of course it does pertain to the event but all in all prices were okay.

This is a multi facility that appears to be under going some renovations!

Drag races are a blast if you love cars, loud exhaust and burnouts!

Great track for us in the Midwest of. Drivers accessable. Great time.

Would have liked to see more sprint cars show up. Maybe a bigger purse would draw more sprints. It was good to see 49 b mods show up though. Really think you should have people going thru the stands selling drinks though.

Absolute worst national event experience I ve had. Went both Friday and Saturday for NHRA national event and multiple times concenssion stands were out of food, what s worse is it was not the private owned food stands that paid big money to be here selling food that were out it was the tracks concession. What a joke to stand in line multiple days for over an hour at a time and then be told at the front of the line when turn comes that their out of all food and just have drinks. Time to take a hard look in the mirror Heartland Park.

Great track, friendly personal, run efficiently. I have been having a blast getting back into racing and if you have not tried it you should.

If you've never been to the drags... You must go!!
Standing in the pits when they fire up a dragster..the sound waves pulse through your body... AMAZING!!

Pretty good setup the few trips I have been there, well versed in taking care of customers.

Hopefully the new owners bring it back to what it should be

I love racing, the smell of octane and tire rubber and especially the FEELING of those horses powering down the track at this giant and nastalgic motorsports park but.....its huge!! I need an atv so I can get from pits to staging before all the cars have ran! Lol
And great job by the folks at the tech barn! Good to see the lives of the racers being looked after so well
And one day I dream of being able to drive my 02 beetle turbo sport on the road course to see how well I've been practicing!! I live this place but only one bad thing,...no portable toilets in the puts and the food is....being your own.

Great place to watch professional racing . Going fast!!! No NASCAR for me. I have enjoyed some fast passes down it my self.

Got here for the drags tonight. Can't take our camper down because no one is here to park us. We know exactly where we're going and have no need to have someone park us. $1800 down the drain. We will not be back.

Had A AWESOME time, they have everything, lots of food benders, clean restrooms, and AWESOME staff , from parking lot to all over every where. People are awesome.. Thanks for the best well needed break...Blessed

They re-opened the track and new owners. Will be curious about what the future holds for the track.

This place is legendary in this town..i really wish someone would take it over that knows what they're doing.

An old burned hamburger tossed on stale chips and they tried to double charge me. What a damn Disgusting joke.

Horrible experience. Got our car in before the dead line, paid $100s in fees. Unloaded the car off the trailer and went over to the Tech shop to have car inspected. They were closed. So we went to the front. The girl at the front told us no refunds for speculators fee. So we went back in to watch some races. Everyone is leaving and everything shut down. We go back to the front to explain we never left the parking lot. There is no parking fee. The 2 lady's that registered us knowing everything was closed and shut down ;shut down the office. We knocked on the window, they opened it knowing why we were back. They instantly had an attitude telling us there was nothing they could do and it was out of their hands. We paid cash.not a card. There was no reason why they couldn't give us a refund and nothing saying there would be no refunds given for any reason. Pretty sure they pocketed the money, will definitely be calling the owner.

Had a fantastic weekend here. Facilities are top notch, clean, and well maintained. Every member of the staff that I talked to were top notch as well. you can tell that a lot of care goes in to making this a special place for racing.

Took my son there 2014. He loved it. Back this year for the same weather permitting.

Attended the No Prep Nationals and had a great time. My first time being here I was very impressed. The staff provided golf carts to and from the parking area to the stands, which was wonderful because of my disability and my boyfriends. The food, snacks, and beverages are a bit pricey so be sure to eat before you go unless you don't mind spending $4 for a soda and $8 for a mixed drink. Other than that no complaints.

Great place to see the NHRA races. I do wish there was some shade as it was very hot when we went and my kids started to get grouchy. The water fountains were broke as well and had to pay $4 per bottle of water.

If you need to ask, you dont need to know. NHRA needs to be experienced by every single human being. Heartland Park provides an excellent venue for your motorsports needs

I absolutely love Heartland Park. I went with NASA. Track is recently repaved and very smooth, in the rain it drains water well. It's a technical, but fast track. As a novice it was easy for me to learn on and very safe if you were to brake late and go off you won't hit a wall. I plan on many more events here.

Great fun but paying 15 dollars to park in a field that was soggy and uneven made the trek to and from the car a little difficult for my wife with bad knees

What a fun time for the while famil,. Track is clean, facility is well maintained and helpful staff. OKC no prep kings held a event here and was great.

Was there for the 2017 ET finals supporting my son Craig Saxon in his racing

Only dislike is there is no elevator to the upper floors of the VIP Suites. Elderly, handicap, children in strollers, have hard time getting up and down. That said, otherwise excellent facility. Clean, hospitable people, great service every aspect of the experience.

World class facility -- so much more than just a racetrack

It's close to home. They only race on Saturdays bracket series so I will not be able to get in points there. There is to much time between rounds and a Lot of confusion it seems on how to run the pits.. I go to test and tune there
The track is usually pretty good. NICE facility. Would just like to see the grass roots racers have a say in some stuff.

Great big race track. Tar pits or grass. Very friendly staff.

Great place to get some nitro and sunburn. Plan ahead and enjoy wisely
