called and spoke with Jay, informed him I had a script for a wheelchair for my adult daughter, he asked what insurance, to which I replied medicare and blue cross. He informed me that only if medicare was the primary and wanted to know if I had power of attorney...I said no, however I have been handling her affairs for the last 10 years, to which he responded with I would need to bring her in to sign....he asked what kind of wheelchair I was looking for, I have no real knowledge of wheelchairs, so my response is something light weight and easy. He mentioned a transporter and quickly advised that my script/insurance could not be applied. I asked if a wheelchair would have to be ordered. he said they had a variety on hand. I told Jay I would come in and look and make a decision.

Excellent place great people they will go the extra mile to satisfy you. If they don't have it they will research it and order it for you...

Great assistance with some devices my father needed. Hard to find helpful people that will spend time with you in this industry. The orders took a while but overall these people are the best.

We've done business with Health Aid Company three times now. We rented a wheelchair, bought a walker and now just recently purchased a transfer bench for my mom to be able to shower safely. I love dealing with them because they are so kind and have great prices too. The bench is superb quality at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend them!

Great place. Been coming here for years as I am a caregiver.

I have bought several items from this store to include cushions for my husband's chair because he was having problems getting up from the chair because it was so low due to a car accident which broke his sternum in two places. I've also rented a lift chair and wheelchair for my Dad when my parents were down visiting and staying at a nearby hotel... the people here are all very courteous, attentive, and accommodating. They go above and beyond the call of "service" here. I needed the chair and wheelchair delivered to the hotel so it could be put in their room (my Dad can't sleep in a bed, so he sleeps and is more comfortable in a lift chair). They delivered it and picked it up without a problem. Recently, I purchased a three wheeled knee scooter for my husband because he has a nasty open wound on the bottom of his foot... it arrived in a box and had to be put together. I tried my best to figure it out and put it together, but was unable to. So, I called this store to see if they could help and told them that I would pay for them putting it together since they rent the scooters I thought that they would know how to put it together. They said "Sure, bring it by" without hesitation. I brought it to the store and two guys worked on putting it together, it only took them about 20 - 30 minutes. The fee they charged was minimal. I am so thankful for their help! Everyone here is just awesome!

Called about a charger and the technician wasn't available at the moment. I was promised someone would call me back with information and nobody ever did, poor service in my opinion

5 stars are not enough. Great customer service, knowledge and the variety of much-needed items for the little things that you can treat at home, especially in the middle of this pandemic where the ill patients require the emergency facilities to be available for them.

They kept the same and even better prices, not like others that doubled(+) the prices. The item that I needed was not available, and he was honest and not tried to push sale an item that was not going to help. I will definitely go back: I bought 2 items for friends that are first responders and they need a few more items.

I purchased a free standing toliet safty rails for my wife today, she was having trouble getting down and up from toliet after knee surgery on Monday.
This product is makes so easy to get up and down, amazing . I had a hip replacement and sure would have liked it. But it is mobile so you can use it all over the hous

5 stars is not enough for the excellent and personable customer service I received from the folks at Health Aid. I almost didn t even want to write this review because it s been my hidden gem during the COVID-19 pandemic but it is necessary.

Genevieve was so kind and willing to answer all my questions, help me find the products I was looking for and made helpful recommendations. They are offering convenient curbside pickup during the pandemic.

I was able to find much needed supplies at a great price. I was able to get a product for $8 that is almost $30 on Amazon. I am proud to be able to support a valued local business that has been in the Wellswood area for a long time.

Go out of their way to get you want you need. Very caring staff and so helpful.
