I don't know I only used a morning star hospital once and it was Timpanogas it was great.
I've been dealing with the billing department for nearly 2 years now for a procedure. The hospital should have written this off the way it was coded and have given me the run around. They keep telling me its under review and 2 call back in 2 weeks. This has been going on for 2 years this June and meanwhile I'm stuck with an 8k bill that I'm not responsible for. Worst customer service ever. Time to seek legal action.
Wife required minor surgery today we went to Lone Peak's surgery center and cannot say enough good things about the staff and the amenities. Everyone was great from registration to discharge. Kind and efficient care!!!
I'm work in the intake department of Highland Ridge Hospital and I have nothing but good things to say about their crisis team. They're all awesome to work with and I haven't met any I don't like. The ones that I would like to give the biggest shout out too though are David and Irish (Trish) who is always making sure that their patients are their # 1 priority and treating the patients the way I'd want to be treated. Thanks for all you do guys.
Mountain star does not care about their employees, so it makes them have a miserable attitude towards the patient's. Haven't heard one good thing about the corporation! -5 stars
Do not Use Mountain Star for anything. We paid our $2500 bill and got letters saying we haven't paid and we were going to be sent to a collection agency so we sent out another $2500, both checks were cashed a few days apart. We have been working with them for 3 weeks and they want to make sure we don't owe anything else and could take 8 months to get a refund. I think it's a very dishonest way of doing business. In my opinion the only good reviews they have are from people who work there. PS: This was an emergency room visit where they did way more then needed to rack up the bill.
St. Mark s is the worst hospital in Salt Lake. I wouldn t trust them to treat a stubbed toe. In addition, their billing department and decentralized billing is designed to fraudulently milk more money out of the patients they treat beyond what the insurance company will pay. If the patient doesn t come up with the extra money, they will send the patient to collections. MountainStar and St. Mark s should be investigated by the regulatory agencies that oversee insurance billing and insurance practices.
EDIT: If you see below my message, someone from their marketing department responded and asked if I would be willing to talk with a patient advocate along with a phone number. When I called the number, it went straight to a voicemail message that is specifically a complaint line for St. Mark s. Are you kidding me?!? WORST HOSPITAL EVER!!!
I'm currently on hold with customer service for billing concerns, this is the 3rd time I'm having to call because of a mistake the hospital billing department has made. Everytime I've called customer service, they're so rude, they act like they don't want to be talking to you, the audacity...Then you have to repeat yourself multiple times, and maliciously asked to spell out your name and full year, like 2021, mountain star healthcare must be a terrible place to work, their employees are so disrespectful, it has to be a management issue. Avoid them if you can.
Dr. Robinson at lone Peak hospital in lone Peak family Health is unprofessional alike all the rest of the staff. Terrible office.
