I worked there and if you have an disability they will trick you then fire you with lies

My grandmother has been with montereau for about 6 years now, we've had no complaints, the staff and management have treated her like family, and I truly felt like we did the right thing for her, however recently. About a year ago, a new company called Unidine took control of operations at montereau, which came with some new staff and management members. Ever since that happened, I've noticed my grandmother getting more and more depressed, she said "they used to treat me good here, but now I dont feel like this is where I want to spend my last years, she would call crying some nights because she missed the way it used to be. So unfortunately the family has been looking for a new place to put my grandmother. She is going to miss some of the original employees who stayed with montereau through the transition. But they will still keep in touch with her. We are very disappointed in Unidine.

My parents receive very good care. However, the quality of food has greatly decreased ever since Montereau established a contract with a new food service company. Despite constant complaints from residents, not much has changed regarding meals. My parents and other residents seems to be pretty content but are very frustrated with the food.

I love Montereau. Montereau takes care of it's residents, especially in Skilled Nursing! The food is amazing. The nursing team in Assisted Living (The Villa) is awesome! I have never gotten the chance to meet anybody in IL but I can tell you that I have never heard anything bad about it. The administration can lack communication but I do love Montereau and it makes up for it.

I worked in this space cafe, until , I had an accident resulting in a spinal injury and was put on disability. If given the chance, I would go back to work there in a heartbeat.
The residents are so pleasant and such a JOY to be around.
Then there's the staff. I can't speak highly enough about everyone I had the pleasure of working with.

Nice facility, nice people, good care! (we were there for rehab)
totally screwed up the aftercare issues. We had to start over with our insurance company weeks after being discharged to get the PT that she needed right after returning home.

I am so proud of the leadership team at Montereau for their handling of the covid 19 pandemic. They have handled everything in a transparent professional manner. When compared to other communities Montereau continues to outshines all of them.

The worst experience ever. The people here are the most unprofessional I ve ever experienced. Please do NOT send your loved ones here. You will regret it. The most rude and non-understanding people run this place.
