Booked a trip for my wife and her best friend to New York as a combined birthday and graduation present. All dealings with the reservation staff has been amazing, offering first hand knowledge and great advice on location and the trip. It was great to have the personal touch with my requirements for my wife's present. Thanks Hayes & Jarvis!!!

Hayes and Jarvis tailor made my holiday to Thailand 0n 5 nov and I recomend this company they did a great job with flights transfers pick ups we never had any problems at all they did a fantastic job and I will definitely use them again thankyou hayes and jarvis

Was due to fly to florida and other states in July...

Was due to fly to florida and other states in July. Due to Covid our holiday was cancelled.
I've asked for a refund which as been denied.
I'm still awaiting feedback. After being told we could be waiting till January for our money is shocking. Doubt I'll be booking through this company again

Do not book with Hayes and Jarvis. I am on holiday experiencing a catalogue of major issues and I just spoke to Hayes and Jarvis my travel agent because of all the mistakes and errors - and they are basically like - well it's not our fault and won't help!!!!

I said, you recommended those companies and took a a percentage of the income from the holiday - it is your responsibility to help. Otherwise I could have just booked directly and you wouldn't have your commission.
And they said, we can send an email to the airlines and hotels but they all deal with customers directly, so they will just get sent back to us.

DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM.

Been booking with H&J for the past 5 years and they are always exceptional and recommend great destination and different options! So from us its definitely 5* if not more! Keep up the great job ps.special thanks to Robert B. for sorting us the best safari experience second time in a row.

Thailand tour made easy!! thank you Jas Bhela at the Crawley Office.
If you want help and advise on Thailand speak to this gentleman! The whole process was made easier with helpful tips and advise of tag ons that we wanted to make, nothing was too much trouble. He explained everything clearly and was most courteous and helpful. If this is normal with Hayes and Jarvis then will definitely be using you again! many thanks cannot wait for the holiday!

Booked multi stay holiday to Thailand with family ...

Booked multi stay holiday to Thailand with family 6 months in advance, 3-4 weeks before departure, they cancelled second hotel, then tried to fob us off with an inferiour Hotel, that was below the rating of the one which I booked!
upon arriving to the to the recomended like for like Hotel it was absolutely terrible, food and accomadation was not as booked and described by Hayes and Jarvis!

We had to contact our represatative on second day to ask to be moved, we were told that another Hotel JW Marriott was not available and no other options were availble and we were on our own to find alternative accomadation!!
We contacted JW Marriot reservations to check availabilty, only to be told that ACTUALLY ROOMS WERE AVAILBLE! The blatant lie from Hayes and Jarvis and the representative on site, caused us to spend a further 2000 Pounds paid by ourselves to move hotel!
Fast Forward- Contacted Hayes and Jarvis CST when back in UK only to be told investigation into what went wrong would take 28 days. After back and forth emails, they refunded stay for the hotel, we are 800 pounds out of pocket!

Bottom line- Be warned, this company is very clever at taking your money, and having the sales pitch to match.
Do Your Research on rating of Hotel and Price independantly through other websites and even direct with hotel before booking.

I will never be booking with Hayes and Jarvis Ever Again!

Booked our honeymoon with these guys. Booking process really quick and easy, customer service faultless. Cant wait to get out to Bali in July. The information they have sent through is really helpful in planning other parts of our trip and we're really looking forward to it.

This USED to be a great website when you could boo...

This USED to be a great website when you could book a holiday online easily
I travelled with them 3 times over the years

But since this new site which doesn t allow you to book online but instead speak to a travel expert it s gone downhill

Prices have gone up massively and I guess we the customers have to pay for all these pointless travel experts salary s
A holiday I booked 2 years ago with them has nearly doubled since the new look site

Why complicate things. Its 2018. We don t need someone telling us what we can all easily find out ourselves online We just want good prices.

After our honeymoon was cancelled in May 2020 due ...

After our honeymoon was cancelled in May 2020 due to the pandemic, my initial dealings were with Tui who were in conversation with H+J on my behalf to try and get a refund.
TUI soon stopped trying and I was forced to try and get some sort of refund.
We eventually got a Credit note which took 2 months of emails, but as I was clearly stating I wanted a cash refund and knew I was entitled to one I continued to fight for one.

9 months on and numerous emails and phone calls later I am being told that I have to wait next year to even apply for a refund.
I do understand these are unprecedented times and being a business they got priority on their survival and I am not the only person trying to get a refund, but withholding customers money and making interest on it! A violation against their own policies.

I initially booked a holiday of a life time which was cancelled due to Covid19. To say I was upset would have been an understatement. At first it did not look as though my refund was going to be anything but straightforward. However due to excellent work behind the scenes from the team at Hayes and Jarvis this was soon put right. Once everything had been explained to me the initial problems became much clearer. Again a big thank you to James at Hayes and Jarvis for resolving this issue. Hopefully things will begin to get back to normal and holidays will return.

They are a terrible travel agent. They didn't keep their promises. They put fancy hotels in the programme but when we arrived they put us in some inferior hotels without any intention to give us a rebate.Will never use them again!!!!

I couldn't have asked for more absolutely excellent service. So thank you so much Barbara I've enjoyed every minute of my Kenya and Tanzania trip. I think I might be going back shortly. Loved every minute. THANK YOU.

I payed a lot of money for a 3 week guided holiday...

I payed a lot of money for a 3 week guided holiday touring South America. I got off the plane at Rio, NO REP !! NO OTHER PASSENGERS!! I spent the next 3 weeks alone, I was scared and lonely! I tried to get in touch with the company in the UK nobody would help me. What a nightmare. They just didnt give a dam about me. I was a vunerable middle aged woman and I had never been on a holiday so far from home. The nightmare still haunts me. !! WHAT A TERRIBE COMPANY.

Terrible terrible service when you need to speak to them. Could not have been better during the booking process but now I need to talk to them regarding options, they are TOTALLY unavailable. They ignore emails, and answerphone messages even though they claim to call you back asap. Disgusted

effortless booking from start to finish, all aspects of the holiday detailed in our itinerary. From the airport to arrival in Thailand and throughout our holiday everything went perfectly. could not fault hayes and jarvis and their knowledge on destinations is amazing

I am currently looking at a Hayes & Jarvis brochur...

I am currently looking at a Hayes & Jarvis brochure which describes a Whale Shark excursion from Cancun, inviting me to "swim among these gentle giants, the largest mammal in the sea."

Whale Sharks are, of course sharks - elasmobranch (cartilaginous) fish and not whales/mammals. I would have to wonder at the quality of the experience being offered as they appear to know nothing about the subject.

Just booked a very special honeymoon with Hayes and Jarvis. I was a little unsure about where to go, I spoke them and they asked lots of questions about our ideal holiday and came up with some amazing ideas. I am now seeing two places instead of one with a break in a city and then a relaxing beach break in a lovely hotel. The girl we spoke to was great! We can't wait to go!

We used Hayes and Jarvis when booking our road trip in Canada.
The initial customer service was excellent- the lady on the phone making some suggestions to tweak our proposed trip to make it better for us - which it did.
Everything was very smooth and easy and every hotel was good
I would definitely use them again
