No care facility is right for everyone, but Hawthorne sets the standard for multi-level seniors care. Open, thoughtful management; well trained and caring staff; amazing volunteer involvement and pretty good food. We were extremely grateful as a family for our experience at Hawthorne.
My family member passed away this past weekend and today we went to pick-up his belongings. When we got there his stuff was sitting out on the sidewalk. No staff member was there to stay with his things or to say anything about losing our family member. I realize everyone has to be careful with covid but not heartless. Shame on you.
My Grandma lived here for two and a half years and thestaff were all very caring and professional. One of the nurses even came and brushed and styled her hair every day. They really do care about the people they work with. The facility looks older but is clean and well cared for plus they're building and doing lots of upgrading.
