Very bad experience with billing department where they failed to mark a bill as paid. One year AFTER I paid the bill, with no contact since the check was sent, I received a collection notice for that same bill.
The agency said that even a month after contacting them to advise them of this, Hawthorn Medical had not provided them a response. I tried calling Hawthorn Medical, I've submitted the copy of the paid check, but they will not return calls or provide any response.

I even tried to call and check if maybe they recorded another visit around that time period in error, but I was passed around to multiple departments before they finally just hung up on me.
