Was having a few issues with our lock in experience. The entire staff was so kind and welcoming and helpful. They made sure everything worked out and that we had a great time, ESPECIALLY the general manager Chris. He took care of us like family, even convinced us to come back and made sure we had a great time.

So much fun. My husband and I were scared the whole time! They took covid restrictions very seriously. We were spaced out really far apart from other groups. Highly recommended if your into Halloween and having some scary fun!

My husband, 6 year old son and I went here for an exit room, something my son has become obsessed with lately! I thought it would be too difficult for him, and although I wouldn't say it's meant for kids, he loved it (and so did I and my husband). We did the Egyptian themed room and had an hour to fine enough clues to escape, which luckily we did with 4 minutes left! Definitely worth every penny for an activity that takes the whole family working together trying to find a way to get out. A guide will watch and keep tabs on your progress and might throw in a hint (only 3 allowed) if you are struggling. Our guide was Jess, who was enthusiastic and fun to work with. Overall fantastic day and my son still talks about it everyday weeks later. We will be back.

Has absolutely so much fun both times I ve gone! We went on a normal night and also when they had the black out! I think the prices are reasonable for what you get and will definitely return for years to come!

One of the houses this year was so disturbing that I just had to warn others. I am a huge fan of haunted houses and I go every single year. This year they have a new house based off of a church. When you enter the house the setting Is the inside of a church and hanging from the upside down crucifix is a naked abused woman. They have "demons" whispering in your ear to worship the "dark god". The majority of the time I kept my head down and ears plugged. I understand that this house is a choice if you want to participate and by all means if you are not offended by this then this review is not for you. But for anyone who is religious and doesn't want to participate in this type of entertainment...skip this house. If I had know what was going to be inside I would have skipped it. It would be nice if they gave you the option to not pay for that house.

The houses are good. The staff could of been more educated. They just let vip keep going with out letting regular customers going. Which was really holding up the lines. The houses were more so visual lacking people in it.

Knowing what this place can be I will give it 4 stars. Not going to lie it was a huge step down this year. We got immediately escorted from one house into another which would not be horrible if we weren't already bumping into the group in front of us and being pushed from the group behind. It's honestly pretty hypocritical to have all the social distancing in line and have everyone way closer when in the houses. It kind of ruins the experience when you can see where the group in front of you is getting scared. The houses themselves were good, just very few scarers. I would gladly wait a few more minutes in line to not be sandwiched between a ton of other people in the houses. Hopefully they figure out how to space people out better.

Not open very often throughout the season, tickets are pricey and only offer 5 house options. Also, they blackout 2 days past Halloween, also it's almost always slammed, you wait for 2 hours in line while people constantly get to skip for paying even more money. Also, houses don't change much every year

We had fun when we got in the houses but the lines are ridiculous! When you are that busy you shouldn't be sending 2 person groups in, send in larger groups maybe 6!!! Lines would go so much faster!!! Spent more time in line then enjoying ourselves in the houses. Actually writing this review while waiting more then 30 minutes in line for just one house. Expect to be waiting in line an hour per house!

Super fun haunted house. 4 separate areas, each with their own themes keeps it interesting. Actors walk around and mess with people who aren't paying attention, makes for some good screams and laughs. Just a heads up, some of them have jumps scares that spray water at you. It wasn't an issue because it's a small mist, but definitely something some people won't like.

An actor jumped off a platform and I took both his knees to my chest. His response was keep your distance. I didn't know he was going to jump at me. I was just walking through the exhibit. No apology.

Me and a group of friends wanted to go on the 9th and we decided that we should all order separate and me and my one friend ordered for 7:00 and when my 3 other friends went to go order it was sold out... so I tried to cancel my ticket but the no refund policy made it to where I can t so I m basically paying for something I can t do. Very, very stupid.

Terrible experience. My husband and I went for our anniversary. We got there early and were about 10th in line. By the time the place opened over 100 people had pushed, shoved, and stepped on us. I mentioned it to one of the security guards and they told us we didn t need to be there. Unfortunately, we paid online and don t live in Buffalo so we would be out that money if we hadn t stayed. We paid for the super VIP which is a complete ripoff since you are in the same line as the people that paid for VIP passes. We weren t told until our 5th room that we needed to just push our way to the front of the line. Insane, who does that? Except for jerks. A couple rooms were really nice and then a couple rooms the attendant let people go through too quickly and we were made to run through the rooms. Again being stepped on and pushed. The escape rooms are also a joke, 1 has never been finished. We have done 20+ escape rooms and never been in one that couldn t be beat. They may have a low success rate but not 0%. We tried to contact the company twice, to no avail. They don t care as long as they have your money. There are so many decent places to enjoy during Halloween, this is not one of them.

Horrible customer service. I purchased pre-ordered tickets and after I the transaction was complete I realized I had chose a day my wife and I could not attend. To make a long story short I tried contacting the company many times on Facebook and social media with no response until I threatened to contact the BBB. I did not want a refund but to change the date. I finally got a short response stating "no refunds and date and time cannot be changed". I know it was my mistake but come on man!

lawsuit waiting to happen, be prepared for injuries! my friends and i have been going to this every year for over a decade, the props in the houses are fantastic, likely the best in the country.... but be prepared for possibility of injuries....these are not professional actors in these houses, they are careless teenagers, one of them hit my friend in the eye with her fingernail, twice we were hit with wooden doors from people jumping out, couldve fractured someones orbital socket, or broke their nose/teeth because the door was face level! thankfully it hit the forearm bone because they blocked their face with their arm...one person was knocked to the ground in the darkness and got a puncture wound from a small nail or needle or something, (when left the house bleeding and asked for first aid, was told there is none) they added steep smooth ramps which are very unsafe for people slipping if you dont have shoes with good traction. its really gone downhill in terms of safety. surprised there arent several lawsuits. will not be going back after 2 years of people being injured in a row. attempted to contact owner about all these incidents and no response (yet the owner is on here responding to positive reviews so that should tell you all you need to know, they only care about $ and not their customers who have supported them for over a decade being injured there) also, its not enjoyable anymore being rushed through and shoved into because they try to cram everyone in...way too crowded.

Love love love House of Horrors and Haunted Catacombs! Took my preteen and his friends and even when they got so scared they ran into one another and hurt themselves the amazing staff stopped to ensure they were ok and if they needed to exit. We go every year and definitely recommend it!!

I really enjoyed my evening at House of Horrors. My girlfriend and I went on a October weekend right before Halloween. It was busy but the lines were manageable. They have several attractions which are mostly included in one price point. If you can get there on a day around Halloween that is not a weekend I guarantee you will have a glorious time. We did and we will be back next year. The staff are great and the stuff is pretty scary!

This was our first year going. I heard the commercials on the radio and I'm always looking for fun stuff to do with our boys. Being 16 and 12, they are not so easy to please anymore. I was a bit apprehensive about the cost and was definately not expecting it to be as freaking awesome as it was!!

We only got to go in 1 of the 5 haunted houses because the wait was so long, but it's great we can use the same tickets to go back before the end of the month to see the other 4. We are all looking forward to our next "house".

I would highly recommend going here to anyone. They put so much detail in the props and the actors with costumes and their makeup looked great! They were definately in the right hiding spots in the house because we all got a good scare a few times.

Absolutely HORRIBLE. I wasn't even scared and its my first time ever visiting something like this! I did more screaming and laughing at the so called actors then they did to us. It was hysterical because of how unpoor the acting was and the organizing of the houses. The killing zombie part was pathetic. They gave you toy air guns that didnt do anything! They had some pretty sweet props though!!!!!

The attempt to operate under covid restrictions has compromised the whole purpose of a haunted house. Walking through a desolate area just to view the set up without actual people to scare you makes it not worth while. It would been nice to know you have go through all houses without pause. Leaving the line to try to use the bathroom or do anything else causes you to be removed without being able use full ticket.

It was a great time! The scares were awesome! The venue was well managed and the security was good (they paid attention to make sure no one was skipping the lines). I will definitely be going back again in the future.
