Small intimate venue that has been tastefully renovated from an old IH tractor dealership. The variety of performances from bluegrass to comedians to viral internet sensations means there is something in the line up for everyone at some point. Plenty of downtown parking for even the largest performances.

Concerts are certainly over sold, therefore making my experience there very unpleasant. You can pay for gold or the high priced seats but in the end it's a total waste of money because once the concert starts you will have to stand and even then you can't see unless you are over 7 feet tall!

Great music venue. Very good selection of Americana, Bluegrass and traditional bands. All good seating and sound as well as several rows up front for VIP seating that usually is not too much of an up charge.

This place is making dreams come true for music fans in Virginia and the surrounding states. Rocky Mount is a beautiful place. All shows have been well worth the price of admission. Will return many times.

The Harvester continues to get in acts that you would not normally get to see! The acoustics are fantastic and it's a small enough venue where you can actually meet and chat a bit with the artists that play. Tonight was my second show at The Harvester but I guarantee that it will not be my last!

The venue was small but adequate for us and we listen to Doug Stone and smiled a lot. The people who were also close to us though were quite another story. A drunk woman screamed every 10 seconds or so, she was also drinking inside the venue and just got more and more drunk. So aggravating! Doug Stone was fabulous and very communicative with the audience during AND after the concert. Loved that!!!

If you want a relaxed, close-up experience, this is your place. It's not theater style seating, so be prepared. You can move around the floor with little problem, so if you can't see, get up and try a new spot! I'll go back for more concerts, it's very informal, but I like that :)

This was my first experience with the Harvester. I am from Martinsville.
I attended the Tommy Emanuel Concert. I made reservations on line.
You have Very professional reservation folks, excellent help with questions and
Of course the Tommy Emanuel Concert (with warm ups) was amazing.
A couple things:
In the interest of making things better!
I reserved in the Gold section.
No advanced reservations were allowed for seating so I had to get to Harvester an hour early to get a good seat. At my age, standing outside in the heat for an hour was not really desirable.
At 6PM when I ask arrived and got in line, I was 4th in line and was pleased with that position knowing I would be on the first row. I am a guitarist so being an avid Tommy fan it was important to have a good view of his choosing hand.
Well, I found out that Doug, in line ahead of me was standing in for 5 additional people who were not in line but out eating.
Boy, I would like to have done that too! I had no idea your organization allowed that. So instead of being 4th in line i was 9th. Also, apparently many seats in the first row were already reserved as there were some white papers ln the seats and folks saying they were saved. Then, Doug's folks took the center seats on row 2! Before you know it, I'm on row 3. Then there is another hour to wait for the show to begin.
I really didenjoy the concert. Just a few concerns.
I arrived at the Harvester at 6PM and finally got to see my hero at 9PM.
I think you can do better than that.
But overall, it was good.

We saw the Infamous Stringdusters. The venue is nice. The sound is great. Convenient parking. We ate at the Bootlegger across the street from the venue. The food was delicious. We're going back to see Jamey Johnson. Come see a concert here. You won't be disappointed!

I have seen a lot of shows in a lot of places. This is a great venue and by far the best place I have gone to see a show. There is not a bad seat in the house. The sound system is incredible and the interior is so inviting. Great place!

First time visitors to Harvester for Three Dog Night concert. The staff went out of their way to accommodate my wife and I as she has bad knees and could not stand They were very friendly and the venue is excellent for viewing a show. We highly recommend the Harvester. We will most definitely come back for upcoming shows.

Really nice venue to catch a show! The staff and volunteers are very courteous. I had gold circle/meet and greet tickets for the show I went to and they have everything very organized, from the seating to meeting the artist.

This place is a little out of the way and if you aren't familiar with the area, you can drive right past it like I did. Somehow I ended on a side street and went to turn around, but I just happened to pull into a parking lot directly across the street.

You aren't going to see a lot of big name artists here. I noticed that the performances are mainly from artists that aren't as well known or some that are just performing at the twilight of their career. But this is not always the case.

Went and saw Aaron Lewis concert there. Great venue small and allows you to get up close and personal with the entertainer. We got meet and great tickets so we where able to actually meet and get autographs. We will be back.

I gave the Harvester 3 stars because "It was okay." The inside looks likes a school cafeteria and the atmosphere not much different. Security was pretty lax, which was both enjoyable and unnerving. The hecklers were annoying and allowed to have their way. Most of the staff is 50+ years of age. The sound was rather poor, but things got worked out after the opening act. Seats were very wide and really comfortable. Most of the stage lighting was provided by the artist. About the dancing room, they have wide aisles that made it rather easy to stand up and dance in front of the seat, yet the floor is not slanted and the stage is way too low. I want a "pit" to dance in. This venue was designed for family reunions and award ceremonies, not live dance music.

LOUD LOUD LOUD

LOUD LOUD LOUD
We drove several hours to see Marshall Crenshaw and The Bottlerockets
The building itself was nice, and would be a fantastic venue if not for the sound.
I go to 20 or more shows a year, Little Feat, Drive By truckers, Govt. Mule to name a few.
The point is, it ain't my first rodeo, and I'm not too old to rock and roll.
I just don't want to be bleeding from the ears when I walk out.
I cannot really comment on the act itself as EVERYTHING was turned to eleven, and we left early.
We were not the only ones. I talked to a few outside. Shaking their heads.
Don't know if I'd return.
Sam
