Harrison Family YMCA Review

I, I'm just speach less l don't know what to say this my dream and l always wanted to be like Simone Biles!

We ve been members at the Y since 2006 and have raised our children at the Y. One of the things that first drew is to the Y is that it s a safe, welcoming environment that brings together people from all across our community. The Y believes in serving all and that is important to us. We appreciate having a place to exercise, take a class, swim, volunteer, and make friends that reflects our community.

Over charged me new membership, when I went back to get the refund for the deference, I was promised that the refund will be issued, never got the refund after a week of not getting the refund my wife went in there and told them to cancel the membership, but still got charged the fallowing month, now I keep calling to get the refund but not getting no where, I run a business, I don t see why is it so hard just to issue refund. Will not trust with leaving card info with this place,

I am a honorably disabled veteran who served in the Gulf War my issue is with some of the people at the front desk talking as if they have an issue with me before I even ask them a question I brush my teeth on a regular so I know its my breath or is it they have an issue with my skin tone there use to be some black staff who were more approachable and would welcome you to this particular YMCA when you walked up to the desk but they are no longer here please fix their attitudes or maybe this needs to be an issue that I need to bring up at nexts months NAACP meeting in ROCKY MOUNT because bo mater your color everyone should be treated with courtesy and respect I didnt serve my country to be disrespected at this YMCA

Need to get back to operating like a real YMCA

Awesome Staff, good equipment and always friendly people. Would be perfect if the gym (weights) were open just an hour or two later.

You have to make reservation to keep the crowd down

Hubby and I joined couple months ago, and pricing was very affordable for our budget, the facility is clean and well kept, and I love to go swimming, I just wish they had an outdoor pool...

This is probably my favorite YMCA I've been to in NC. Lots of friendly faces and the facilities are always clean and in working order. Has a great aquatic area as well.

Gym, Swim, and Climbing wall all under one roof! AWESOME

It is so much more than a fitness facility! First of all the facility is NEW, Big and beautiful. It is a safe place where all in the community are welcomed on a level playing field. Our YMCA helps shape our community with strong family values and fitness classes, and activities for every age from youth to mature and fitness level. The fees and options for membership are really reasonable and less than other nearby YMCA's. The staff is really friendly and helpful ! Lots of activities to pick from: Pool, swim teams, scuba classes, water aerobics, Basketball, pick up as well as adult and youth leagues, Raquetball, Aerobics / Cardio classes, spin classes, Pilates, yoga, lots of free weights and machine weights, plenty of treadmills w/ personalized Cable TV, many elliptical machines w/ personalized Cable TV, rowing machine, stationary bikes, big screen TV's, daycare, gymnastics,.... a steam room, dry sauna, and large whirl pool to cure your aches and pains!!! If all those ammenities don't light your fitness fire, you wood is wet! Come check it out with a free "test drive" visit ! Enjoy it and change your life!

The Harrison Family YMCA has helped me immesurably towards a more healthy and wellness oriented lifestyle! They cheerfully serve it's members and create a family atmosphere for all ages.

Nice and clean pool Olympic size and was not disturbed during my workout

I enjoyed the atmosphere of the actual gym area, but unless they have new help, they have some of the sorriest and the worst daycare workers. That alone give rates you at a 1 star.

My husband and I are rising two of our grandchildren. They attend the YMCA after school program. The staff is awesome and always willing to help. We are extremely grateful. The YMCA provide a safe and structure environment. Thank you so Much...................
