Andy's Cheeseburger and Cheesesteak Review

Think they need some training time in the kitchen. To many mistakes. Food needs to be cooked with more care and in less of a hurry. People will wait for there food if it is good. Take your time in the kitchen and people will flock to the place to eat.

Good burgers and fries. Average prices. Friendly staff. Small facility, could be a little cleaner. Family friendly.

It was not a Hwy 55 it was a Andy's which was better than it was a Hwy 55. Clean place, very friendly service very nice and food was back like it use to be when they all were Andy's. We will be going back for sure.

Typical, yet pleasant atmosphere and good service. The fries are lame though.

I went in Hwy 55 on 5/26/2020 @8:30p and I was going to order but I noticed one of the cooks did not have gloves on as he was preparing the food. That's nonsense for such a time like this with the Covid-19 going on. Also, the other cook did cross contamination, he took meat out of the freezer with gloves on and with the same gloves on he grabbed a bun without changing gloves.

My kids come for the car boxes. I come for the chili cheese fries.

This Andy's seems like the original before it was changed to Hwy 55.
Sometimes it is better to leave a good thing alone.

You just need to know this location has a different name/sign. Is called Andy's. So it was hard to find when you are looking for a Hwy 55 sign. For what I'm concerned, is the same Hwy 55, just different name for some reason

My food came quickly and was hot. My fries were crispy and delicious. Service was very good and my server was friendly and polite

The food was good but my chicken cheese steak was lacking chicken. My beverage was not brought out to me until the end of my meal. This my first bad experience at this particular Highway 55.

Yess!!! My favorite burgers & fries. Please go and get the andy's special. It will not disappoint you. The one in mt. Olive North Carolina and in Goldsboro off of spence is the best.

Had a great time today at Hwy 55 Hamburgers,the service,food and staff were very gracious,my Pops dosen't really care for high dollar,chain food restaurants,he just loves a good old fashioned hamburger & fries,Hwy 55 always satisfys,even on Father's day,Love you Pop.

Took very long time, order was wrong, and employees were not polite. Also, the two cooks did NOT cover their faces with their masks.

It is a good burger and shake kind of place. Those are rare these days, let alone good.

This location advertises curb side service but they WILL NOT come outside. Twice, I ve been to this location and was forced to go inside to pick up my food. Don t advertise curbside if you are not able to offer the service.

This a Great place to eat at. They greeted us before we got inside by holding the door open for us. The frozen custard is Awesome and you can t beat the cheesesteaks!!! I will definitely eat here again!!!

The food is hot, delicious, and served quickly. However, out of four employees only one was wearing a mask properly. The server working the register had a mask on and was extremely cautious. The cook and one server had their mask down on their chins and one cook had no mask at all. I would advise avoiding this location until they improve their pandemic safety.

Good honest burger, served in a retro themed environment. Servers are good. Been in several local chains and as good or better than those.

Andy's original is everything you want in a classic burger grill. Friendly service and excellent orangeade sets Andy's apart from the rest.

Love Hwy 55! They have fabulous burgers and hot dogs and make fresh orangeades. I don't use sugar and they make mine with regular water and give me artificial sweetener. Delicious and refreshing!!

The staff was not friendly at all. The grill was dirty . Me as a customer had to ask them to clean it first. No seasoning was added to both sandwiches. I asked the individual was some supposed to be put in it. She said no. Which I know it is not true. I watch The Cook the entire time and he did not add any type of seasoning. Hire better and qualified staff.

This place is amazing. Everything is fresh and 50's diner quality tasty.

The meal was excellent and the staff was on point. They kept the place clean and friendly.

They have changed the name back to Andy's and changed the menu once again!!! But it's the same lousy service and over priced small portions as before. After reading how the owner got his start which is plastered all over every table in the place? I can see why he got fired from his first job at a burger joint because he was not good at it then and still can't get it right today after all these years!!!!

Food was delicious! The waitress was friendly and very attentive. The furniture was beat up and brought down the atmosphere.

Mad they changed the size of the steak sandwiches!!!

Order came out 1 piece at a time. 3 orders. 1 got their sandwich. I got got tots a minute or 2 later. Than 1st guys salad came out. 2-3 minutes later my sandwich came out. I was about finished when 3rd guys burger came out. Not the waitresses fault. She was great. Cooks sucked. Oh I forgot to mention. We were the only people in the restaurant.

Service was okay" food could have been better bathroom very outdated to me. Overall i will not be eating at this establishment again

Kara I believe service to describe in one word. Exceptional! I'm from Florida in town visiting family and enjoyed her energy!!!

OUTSTANDING!!! Haven't been here in years. This was at my first duty station, Shady J, and we ate here all the time. It tastes just the same, maybe a little better. Our waitress, Ryan was great! She truly took care of us amd there was nothing wrong with iur irder. Even ordered more for take home.
