Harrahs Resort & Casino Review

It wasn't about the resort itself, just who I spent it with

Great hotel, food and an awesome swimming pool. Love the lazy pool!

Clean; lots of different types of machines; beautiful place

We wanted a girls weekend and booked our room on a friday for a saturday night stay. We told them when we booked that we were coming to hang out at the pool. We arrived on saturday morning and there were signs upon check in that you needed to reserve a 3 hr window for the pool. WTH??? No one told us that when we were booking.
Before we even got to our room we walked over to reserve our 3 hr window to be told at 10:30am that there was no reservations left for saturday. We could go on a wait list and we would get a text. Well at 4:45pm we finally got a text. :-(
This whole process is a joke. We got up sunday morning to get in line at 7:00am to book out 3hr window for sunday. We finally got in the pool area from 12-3.
Oh and if you want a cocktail you must buy food for every cocktail. You can not have a tab going and the food is absolutely disgusting frozen fried food like taquitos ect....and very expensive. There are no healthy options and the min. charge for the cheapest item was $6.00
We met some friends at the pool and they reserved a POOL suite and were promised 6 pool passes with there suite to also be told that they could not access the pool and it was for a birthday group. This by far was the worst hotel experience ever. I wanted to have a few drinks at the pool but because of the food purchase every time I only had one. BTW...there were no bars open in the casino unless you got service from a cocktail waitress and they were hard to find. It was my friends first time at Harrah's and she said she will never go back. The beds were hard and the pillows here hard...they were terrible. We were going to stay until monday but because of the situation and rules for everything we checked out on sat. after the pool and drove home. Feeling so disappointed :-(

Went to see Steve Martin and Martin Short. The show was fantastic! Hope they have more shows like this.

Worse visit I ve ever had will not return to having security questioning me about god I don t know made me feel u comfortable did t explain me why I was being question and walks away from me says what s your name and says oh ! My first time their would been many more times but will not return unprofessional guest service to complain about my situations other than say sorry my mistake you for another guy! Made me feel low and profiled!

The room was terrible scuff marks on all the cabinets my wife took a bath when she was done with a bath she got that water go and the sewage backup into the shower I was going to take a shower after her thank God we were going to the pool. We went to the buffet for my sons 21st birthday that food was terrible cover crop chicken dried chicken the only reason why we're at was for the pool party for my son the food at the pool overpriced don't get the chicken wings Atlanta BBQ sauce to make up for the toughness of the chicken wings

Nice rooms and lots of dinning options. The pool and lazy river are a lot of fun. Pricy but nice all the same.

Traffic and construction makes this place hard to get too. And obviously Harrahs needs to pay for their construction!!! Somehow??$$ you pay for it by playing the tightest slots in so cal.

Harrahs is okay but i suggeat just going to las vegas theres bo oyher feeling like it plus harrahs has only 1 terrible convenient store outside with a gas station and after 10pm they have the worst cashiers and idiots

Our room was really nice, very comfy. Really nicely designed bathroom and shower area. We really liked the fitness area, as well as the outdoor pool and bar. We loved the Billy Idol concert, and will be back to Harrah's again soon!

Its an amazing place to go to. No problems whatsoever. Great service, especially room service. One of the nicest people I've met was room service employee.

I live on Palomar Mountain and stop bye from time to time to grab a bite or a drink. Rita's Cantina has great enchiladas and ok everything else, I normally get Margaritas from the Cantina and tacos from the taco truck in front of the restaurant. They have a few other establishments to eat at but I can only vouch for the fifty dollar steak a friend bought me, it was phenomenal, but I forget the name of the place. the craft beer place is great and the pool bar is decent. They have a lazy River and a great pool but there is a cover charge to use the pool and hot tubs. Dive nights in the summer get a little to crazy for me and it cost more. Have not tried the spa massage, or stayed in the rooms.
The Casino area is nice, but can be filled with cigarette smoke. Side note the gas station next to it is a great place to gas up. It is one of the least sketch in the area has bathrooms and a Subway attached.

Too much smoke filled room! And it wasn't even crowded! Not my 'cup-of-tea'!

I think that the virus has Alot to do with nobody winning at this casino.they lost Alot of of money when they closed down There getting as much as they can From us.

Nice location. But don't like the paid wi-fi. Most other hotels give it free. I'm not going to pay $13 a day to check emails. The hotel somehow blocks the signal. Because, as soon as you walk outside my mi-fi works perfect...step inside and it works poorly. i think they have some kind of blocking device. I would consider staying there more if not for this problem. Also, the music outside keeps you up at night/early morning. Need to lower that down. I was on the 3rd floor. maybe that was it? Even so, its too loud.

Horrible hotel management by the name of Fernando... it was the worst customer service I have ever had. I hope this was a one time maybe he was in a bad mood kinda situation... I was booked there from july 23 - july 27 2020 and I didnt even stay.

I LOVE THE GAMES THAT I WAS PLAYING ON I LOVED THE GOOD FOOD AND THE POOL AREA WAS REAL NICE THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST CASINO'S THAT I HAVE EVER BEEN TO AND ME MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS WILL BE BACK VERY SOON

It's a nice place. We enjoyed the concert venue. The folks who worked the venue were all very pleasant

Fun little stop, nothing to fancy but great to just get away. Though it's really out of the way which is good or bad depending on what you are trying to get into.

Great staff all very friendly, I was waiting to run into a staff member that might have just been having a bad day and It was the wrong time but I didn't every dealer, cashier, and host was very nice and very glad to be working. Odds of winning are average, great opportunities to play in the black jack tournament but I wasn't able to.

I've been going to Harrahs Rincon since they had there casino in 2 trailers and a bingo tent . Now that there a huge casino. They forget there is a lot of other casino's to choose from . The only thing that keeps people coming back here is there adult pool and cabana bar and lazy river for the kids . Now the most hilarious thing is they close the pool during the week Mon-Thur at 8pm and Fri-Sun 10pm ?? I wonder what Manager thought that was a good idea? Here is the scenario i plan on staying one night during the week or weekend so hotel check-in is 4pm and checkout is 11am ? So i get here and pay $279 a night . I arrive and wait for 30 minutes at the check-in desk wait another 20 minutes for my bags to arrive to my room, not because there bellman are slow but because there is only 3 of them on a busy day. I get settled into my room , its now 5pm i head down to lazy river to relax have a few drinks and what do you know pool closes at 8pm . So i just paid $279 for 3 hours of relaxation at the INFAMOUS NOT!! FUNNER CALIFORNIA ? and by the way 5 Corona cans in a bucket for $30 plus tip $34 ? Who serves 5 beers at a time ? Its called a SIX pack for a reason ? Oh and i requested a Pool view when i made the reservation and lady said not a problem !! Look at my beautiful $279 POOL VIEW at NOT!! FUNNER CALIFORNIA !! Great job Harrahs !!

It's always clean,the employees are friendly,helpful,and polite.The atmosphere is amazing,the casino area is really great.The promotions are always nice.The rooms are amazing,the food is delicious.I always have a great time.Win or lose I look forward to coming back!

The Harrahs Resort and Casino is a very fun cool place to visit. my favorite is all the food... Lots of great options.. The drinks are perfect... Exact amount of alcohol. There's a variety of machines tho play. And its a very clean location. Not to mention the bathrooms are spot less. My next visit I will deffinetly be reserving a suitte for a well worth it weekend vacation. Also forgot to mention I won on a machine on my last visit.. Awesome!

The loyalty program has to be the best. It's a casino so you expect to lose. At least Harrahs gives you rewards back

After checking into our room, the wait time to receive our luggage from the bell service was unsatisfactory, to say the least. Took an hour and a half.

Room was clean but old..sink didn't drain, dust in corners, no coffee because of "covid", paper masks were not available as they are in other casinos....while drinking and playing at bar the bartender was coming over to admonish mask down but active smokers could keep theirs down...THAT makes no sense....Chinese restaurant was very good and cafe breakfast while very greasy has very friendly staff

They have become so tight with comps I started going to Valley View. They appreciate my money.

Non smoking room smells like a bar. I had to open the door to air it out.

Harrah's is always a great pitstop before going to San Diego. Always end up here for the entertainment and food.

Had a lovely dinner at Fiore. The staff was excellent.

I'm Seven Stars and been playing here for years. For the past 2 years, the payout has been very greedy. Constantly been losing and losing, bonus has no payouts.

Machines are tight. No self service beverage bar, sorry but that's a big minus for me. Pool is nice but ice cold. No complimentary water in room like other hotels I've stayed at.

Very nice place, people very friendly, hotel room spacious and clean.

The rooms are awesome big, clean, beds are comfortable the restroom is big and big bathtub so bring bubbles the pool is great the casino as well.... the employees are awesome great customer service we stay here often....

The casino is open and spacious, so that's nice because it's not too smoky. I didn't stay the night. Service was friendly.

Went to the steakhouse for some dinner and appetizers. We shared the shrimp cocktail that was a delight. The attention to service that we were accommodated withwas great. We had the mini tacos and the risotto with mushrooms. For dessert, we enjoyed the sorbet assortment offered. The food quality, service and atmosphere were excellent. This place is recommended. Enjoy!

Bad. Temperature check at door gave wrong reading. AC broken. Pool policy means you will not have access unless you reserve an upgrade or stand in line at 7 a.m. to try to reserve a spot. For real. This was one of the worst hotel experiences we have had.

Okay sooooo it was my first time here. I usually stay at all the Total Rewards casinos located in Las Vegas!! But let me just say this is just a taste of it. There is a great variety of food, gaming, coffee shops, pools and bars everywhere. I would totally recommend this place if not wanting to go far but wanting something different. They do have multiple casinos in a small radius but why leave when everything is within this casino. Harrah s has outdone itself with this location. Being a platinum member I didn t get any special treatment but what for, it already feels as if I m on a vacation. I recommend this casino because of how convenient everything is and prices are very affordable. The places I ve eaten are The Cafe and Rita s. Amazing. Cafe is something fast easy and simple and their deserts aka pastries are amazing good you would want seconds. Rita s Mexican food is just awesome in every spectrum. The only thing I can say is your have to experience it to believe it.

Great location, awesome swimming pool for kids and adults. Machines and tables for beginners and high rollers.

Pool is so full of people you can't enjoy it or find a place to put your stuff. The lazy river had so many children in it with sagging diapers playing with beer bottles.Turns out you can buy your way into the pool again with out having to stay there. So get to the pool early. Food options are few but the steak House is good just be sure to get reservation when you book your stay. For all the ladies with long hair the shower is a trickle took me 20 min to get shampoo out. So it's okay but so far out of the socal casinos morongo tends to be a better option if you don't have kids.

great place to stay at as a hotel, and the buffets are great. if there was not a scent of smoking then the place would smell better, but overall, this is a pretty good place to go to. :-)

Great atmosphere, Great place to win $$$, excellent steak House, and corner L room with balcony overlooking stage and concerts were fabulous. If your in CA stop in for a visit.

Standard rooms are nice. Pool is overcrowded. Spa is mediocre. Good slot machine options.
