Nice atmosphere by the water. Food was good but not a big selection for dinner.
Nice atmosphere by the water. Food was good but not a big selection for dinner.
enjoy all food,i m very like lobster soup and buffalo chicken dip , personal is so friendly, feel good in this place
Love the place! Food is delicious and can't wait to get some of their muffins. Friendly and efficient waitress. The parking lot was packed but we only had to wait 5 minutes to get seated.
We've been going to Harpoon Hannas for years and its always been excellent but last night was the worst ever. Granted, we ordered carryout but we paid $60 for 2 meals. The containers were about a cup and all of them except one was half full. The crab soup only had about 5 spoonfuls in it. The food was good but way over priced
Worst customer service ever. Dropped food and served it among other things. By the end of our meal we had 3 or 4 waiters trying to keep our waiter from a total disaster. Reported cocktail sauce spilled on cashmere sweater and the manager Luke suggested he gets food on his clothes all the time and it ll come out in the wash. He offered 25.00 since we actually ate the food. Customer service is truly not a mission they subscribe to and I turned down the offer to come back. Awful!
Amazing food and drinks.. Comparably proceed for the beach and reasonable wait staff
GREAT ATMOSPHERE ,YOU CAN TELL THE STAFF IS WELL TRAINED , YOU CAN SEE HOW GOOD THE FOOD LOOKS BUT IT TASTE EVEN BETTER IT WAS WORTH THE TRIP COMING FROM CAMBRIDGE MD, ME AMD THE FAMILY WILL BE BACK !!!!
Service was terrible. My food was so so but my husband loved it. The muffins were the best part.
A family-friendly restaurant
Adult happy hour
Waited 20 minutes to get inside.. we were in wrong line. We came for dinner .we had to wait another 20 minutes to get in dining room. We were seated wait another 20 minutes for waitress.to our drink order.we order dinner 25 minutes later she come back , to tell us there s no prime rib.I had pick something quick So my family could get there dinner. After all that dinner comes it just warm, very disappointed don t know if I ll go back.
Service was slow, but we love this place. Food & Music too. Plus the water view and sunsets are so pretty.
We waited nearly three times as long for a table as we were told we would (total time nearly an hour). For as generic and boring as the food was, it was awfully pricy: the crab-dip had almost no crab in it, the vegetable of the day was underdone carrots with no seasoning, and. Waitstaff was inattentive, and some of them rude, the restaurant is very large with a lot of patrons and employees running around, but the walkways are very narrow and you have to wait for a while for crowds to go by before you can move anywhere. There was a cat wandering around the outdoor dining deck, and I don't know if that was the restaurant's or a stray. The prices aren't printed on the menu for the fresh fish and the waitstaff doesn't know the prices without going back to ask; our waiter didn't even seem to know the menu. Waited a long time for drink refills (including the refill for my sister's drink that he spilled on her), and could never find our waiter. The plastic outdoor chairs looked like cheap lawn furniture, and I don't know what list this place made the "Top 100 Restaurants in the USA" but they couldn't have gone to many places. There are so many places to eat along the shore with better food.
Excellent off-season Prime Rib Special! Great live music too!
Arrived 5:21pm...6:42 still no food....Waiter was great. 6:50 all food is here. My coleslaw turned into fries. Children have been begging to leave last 30 min, so I dont dare send it back. Solid pass.
My family and friends have loved Harpoon Hanna s for years,
UNtIL Monday 4-29-19. We had a terrible experience. Restaurant was not busy, 5 to six tables had customers.
Our $27.00 filet mignon,
Ordered Medium well, came out rare, waited 10 minutes sent back, came back M. Rare
Our $33.00 prime fib was over 50 percent FAT
All sides were wrong.
Another 7 minutes trying to get waitress attention I asked for the manager. Waitress informed us
HE said he was busy. I was furious and said tell him to get un busy. After another 5 minutes a heavy set man came to our table was very rude. Explaining how rib usually had fat. I said not half fat.
The manager was very obnoxious.
There are many great restaurants in area
We won t be going back.
Beware
Always good. Great outdoor deck with live entertainment. Solid service
Beware! No social distancing happening in the Fenwick Island location! Packed with people and hardly anyone wearing masks.
Location muffins seafood and a must for locals and tourists
The service was friendly and professional. The food was GOOD!!!
Love this place good food, good atmosphere, good live music
Great seafood offerings and all-you-can-eat options.
Awesome
Can't beat the Prime Rib Special
This is an awesome place! The drinks and the food was so good
Always a good time. Never ever disappointed! The Best drinks in the area. Delicious food and something for everyone. The scenery tops it all off..plenty of water activity to enjoy as you enjoy your favorite food or beverage. Open 365 days a year.
I miss the old days of when the basket of bread came around..but life changes... food was good and our wait staff. Jamie was great!
Was FANTASTIC! The bar hangs out over the bay, there was live music for entertainment and happy hour is from 3 to 6 what more could you ask for? P.S. the food is also great!
very pleased. first time coming here and it was delicious! very nice relaxing spot.
Great outside deck on the Bayside... In season live acoustic on the deck and sometimes live bands inside. Off season specials with inside acoustic musicians and even trivia. Food is decent, hit or miss, and big drink menu. Love the Lobster bisque. Go for the vibe. Stay for the music.
Not so good. I've eaten here a lot and it seems the quality has gotten worse the last year or so. I live in OC full time during summer. Today food was undercooked and hastily presented. If you do not order fries with your sandwich, you do not get chips or anything other than sandwich. That's new. Kitchen was way behind for lunch service. Waitress more interested in hanging out with other waiters and waitresses at booth then helping her assigned tables. Look I know it's tourist season and HH is a tourist trap but they have really gone downhill recently. I can not recommend them any longer.
Ok food food and service. Get there before 6, or you will be waiting a while. Bread lady walked around and had the look that this is the last place she wanted to be at- takes alot of effort to smile.
Hostess' just kind of threw menu's down and walked away. Not the most friendly staff, but that happens alot when you are not "local".
This is a beautiful restaurant. They have outdoor seating by the water.Live music outside.Excellent food and atmosphere.Outside casual dress. They have two large dinning rooms indoors. The menu is a big variety and all of the food is delicious. It is worth spending the money.Kids are welcome and they even have a special menu for them.I recommend save space for desert. The chocolate heaven cake is awesome.
Second year for Thanksgiving. The food is always great. Our server Laura had only been there a week and you could tell she's a server. She never missed a beat. Thanks for another great stress free Thanksgiving. 5 Star.
Just not what it used to be. Mushy vegetables, over buttered seafood, rubbery bacon scallops. Great location, with declining food quality. Much better options elsewhere.
Food and service great but I like it 100x's better when they allowed pets on the deck. People travel with their pets and it would be nice to be able to include them.
Short wait time, free muffins, great waiter (Mark, I think), good food, fast service. The kids meals could be a little bigger. My kid can eat more than 3 shrimp. They got around 20 at another place we went to.
The food was terrible. I only ordered steamed shrimp and oysters. The shrimp looked like and tasted like they were microwaved. Not to mention they were tiny. Also, the oysters were the smallest i have ever eaten. The pink lemonade and their pepsi tasted like they didnt change or clean the machine.
Good food. Tasty muffins and raisin bread to start the meal. Was a bit hot with little breeze on the covered deck.
Staff seemed to lack personality. Drinks and food were fine, but another nearby place leaves this one in the dust.
Great food good service. All around excellent experience
Harpoon Hanna's is the BEST place that I have had in a long time.
Party of 15, night ended arguing with the GM and leaving angry after being in the restaurant for a total of 3 hours.
Told we would have a 5-10 minute wait for a table to be set, ended up waiting over 30 minutes without a single proactive update from the hostess.
Seated for 10-15 minutes before meeting out waitress, was at the table for roughly 30 minutes before getting our drink order (1/2 of which were for kids), over 30 minutes for bread and only got water after asking for it (it was served with the salads, roughly 1 hour after we sat down for dinner).
Did not get served dinner for 1 1/2 hours. The table next to us with a similar size party had water, bread, orders taken and appetizers served long before us even though they were seating 10-15 minutes after us.
Rather than taking responsibility for what was obviously a bad situation and a waitress that was overloaded with tables, management sent the waitress back to the table to apologize for her bad service and offered to take the few kids meals off the check (that was close to $350). The manager wasn't professional enough to visit the table to discuss our complaints even though I sought him out and complained directly before our food was finally served.
GM came to the table only AFTER I told the waitress it was not her we were complaining about and that the management should deal with the situation. He proceeded to argue with (6) grown adults about our recollection of the evening and stated that they had done nothing wrong. Ended the "conversation" with some unprofessional, ludicrous statement about "some people taking longer than others to eat".
Food wasn't bad but will never visit a restaurant this poorly run again. The GM was proud to say he had been "doing this for 21 years" when multiple people told him his people / customer service skills were poor. Maybe HH should think about getting a new GM or sending this one back to customer service 101 / lose the ego school.
Excellent selection of food and the staff was on top of everything
Was in the area and asked two servers if dogs were allowed at the tiki bar, to which they both replied yes. After sitting at a high top, a hostess told us they're not allowed. When the manager came out, he very rudely told us that there was no way someone told us they were allowed and every employee knows the policy. I understand dogs aren't allowed everywhere, but we were told they were, and the attitude of the manager, complete with eyeroll, was completely unacceptable for a manager in hospitality.
Fantastic happy hour. Very welcoming in the off season as well.
Nice dinner but would not order fish and chips again. Have had better meals there . muffins are still great.
First time here after many years of coming to OC, I was not disappointed, we order take out because we had our dogs with us on vacation. The online ordering could not have gone easier, they even gave an accurate time for arrival. The food was packed up well and even with it being carry out it had a nice presentation. The food was very good we enjoyed crab imperial, crab cakes, and crab dip my husband remarked how good the loaded baked potato was and he really isn't a fan of them. I highly recommend and will be back this fall/winter.
Food was very good. Surroundings very bad, everytime the doors were opened, and there were two of them,a gust af wind and cigarette smoke came thru, very disappointing. Other than that. Service was very good. Waitress very pleasant. And helpful.
Some wait staff at the Tiki Bar need to learn how to properly wear a mask. Observed a waitress (auburn/reddish hair) carrying a tray with multiple drinks on it with her mask pulled down under her chin. No way would I have accepted a drink served from her. Also no social distancing practiced at the bar.
Went for lunch; it was so good we went back for dinner. Dinner was prime rib with crabmeat (Mediterranean style) (shared by 2), crab cake, vegetables primavera. Lunch was Pina coladas, toasted almond, and tropical ? sunset. Oh yeah, there was food. Shrimp salad, blackened fish tacos, fried fish tacos, chopped salad. Highly recommend the place. Has good friendly vibe, nice patio. Sun sets behind houses so not as nice for viewing as Fager's island. But my preference is Harp. Hanna's
(8/5/2020) After waiting almost an hour and a half to be seated, we were sitting outside observing the amount of staff and customers not wearing masks correctly or at all. The seating inside is also not spaced out enough to comply with social distancing rules. After going up to the manager twice mentioning our concern for his employees not wearing their masks, he told us that if we don t feel safe here then maybe we re not the place for you . Our waiter, Graham, was fantastic and wore his mask correctly the entire time. It s unfortunate because the food was very good, but we will not be returning due to the poor compliance to CDC guidelines and horrible customer service.
Have been coming to harpoon Hannah's for over 25 years. Went this past Saturday , very disappointed! Waiter said It was his.1st night BUT one entree wrong and one entree never came until the rest of us were done . Portions a lot smaller with a bigger price tag. I think next time we come to ocean city we will skip Hannah's. A real shame
OMG....this place is fantastic. Food and atmosphere
Food is always great when we go on vacation in the area. Very nice atmosphere. During the summer, expect to have a wait for a table, but it is worth it. Server 14, Melissa, was awesome. Great waitress.
Beautiful view great new friends celabrating with arobic girls from Montigobay pool!
I didn't care much for the experience. A long wait to get into a cafeteria style dining. Food was mediocre at best
First time wonderful place to eat, wait time 10 on a busy sun night.staff great, didn't miss a beat I will be back
Even though we came in about an hour before closing we still got treated good and the staff was friendly
The food was very good (half-priced prime rib night) and the wait staff was very courteous. My only criticism was that there wasn't a lot of room on our table for all the food and drink.
We really enjoyed our experience here overall. My family and I went for appetizers and a few drinks. The drinks were tasty and well made. The food was really really good. Our favorite was boom boom shrimp. We got a seafood feast and felt as though the flavor was a bit bland. The indoor seating is fairly uncomfortable in addition to this. Our server, Ethan, was very polite and great at his job. We really enjoyed the coconut muffins! Will likely return!
Best combination of good food, service and atmosphere around. Watched Dolphins play while listening to the live music and enjoying a great meal. Prices are very reasonable and service was great.
