Grand Hotel Parco dei Principi Review

5 hotel but not very big. It is near Villa Borghuese in central Rome.

First the positives: a very comfortable bed, intimate wash gel next to the bidet, nice view and helpful staff. The less beautiful: if you want to enter the actually beautiful spa area, you first have to fill out a questionnaire (annoying), then you will be made clear that you can only use the swimming pool with a polyester cap (5, - ) and the sauna only with textiles may enter! The breakfast was ok for Italian standards!

We attended a conference I found old salons a bit overwhelming. In my opinion, a good refresh would not be bad

My stay of several days in this hotel exceeded my expectations. From the outside, the hotel is not immediately inviting, but from the inside it is all the more magnificent. Luxurious, comfortable room with wonderful views of the bourgeois villa and San Pietro. Beautiful and very pleasant wellness center. Wide choice at the breakfast buffet. The only flaw is the bathroom fixtures a bit cheap compared to the context.

I attended my brothers wedding here and stayed for several days. I could not fault the hotel and the food served during the wedding event was absolutely fantastic, as was the evening buffet served by the pool with band and open bar. We were even served an amazing buffet on the terrace before we sat down for the wedding meal! If only all weddings were like this and in such beautiful surroundings.

We used a meeting room for a multimedia presentation and requested a buffet of drinks and sandwiches: excellent service and very kind hotel staff; the sandwiches were very good and fresh; the upholstery of the room should be modernized, but working there is not too much attention.

Excellent structure located just behind the bourgeois villa, luxurious antique-style room furnishings, excellent soundproofing of the rooms, spectacular hall and breakfast room, great variety of products, obviously of a high level staff. The property has a very nice spa with indoor swimming pool massage hot tubs gym relaxation room and more

Stayed here for 5 days during September 2018. The hotel is clean with large rooms and helpful staff. The pool was also great, plenty of sunbeds and once again the staff were very attentive. As you'd expect with a 5 star hotel it was quite expensive, 35 for breakfast seemed steep. As someone else previously commented: they need to improve the climate control in the rooms.

The Parco Dei Principi has always been known as a hotel to meet movie directors and other Italian Celebs. The grounds are lovely and the service is excellent . The services are expanded since last I stayed there for the better. It s now a truly 4-5 star hotel and spa . If you don t mind the zoo sounds at night , this isn t your place . All else is a treat especially eating at the pool on a hot afternoon in room or dining in its classic restaurants . Very modern and hip place to stay . Great location!

Luxury hotel in the center of the vegetables, outside Rome's ancient city

A favorite place of years by many people (among which I count myself with my family and friends) to its central location, but pleasant to rise in a Pinciano / Parioli up the distinguished neighborhood of elegant homes, rich in vegetation for its proximity to the Villa Borghese ; no recent hotel but still well maintained and equipped with everything necessary for a stay or for a quick stop, for just a drink, a meal. The last chance offer for a stay here was a conference, which I attended, and then remained their host, satisfied in full for the services and comfort of the room, the conference room and common areas.

I was there for a convention, and as for this reason the halls, corridors, lounges, bar and elevators were crowded it was quite interesting to see people wandering around these places in your bathrobe (probably came and went from the pool). A little hybrid place, top-of-the-range furnishings, excessive prices for the situation (two coffees 6 euros). Not to mention the attention to security: the underground car park (3 euro per hour for the first two hours) was totally devoid of staff at all levels, but I parked the fire alarm sounded and there was no one to ask if it was "normal". In the end I decided to take the risk, after having traveled far and wide looking for clues about what to do I approached the elevator to go up leaving the car there. The elevator presented the warning "do not use in case of fire", so, again a little undecided, I started looking for the stairs. Finally returned to see the light of the sun, warning of the alarm the hotel staff, that giggles in my face saying that it is "only an exercise". But exercise in what sense, if I have not seen anyone practice intervening to test the safety systems and the readiness to intervene? Really I do not understand. All this while the safety conference (the "Salone della Giustizia", 2018 edition) was in progress. Obviously the prefect Gabrielli has spoken about how the police, deployed since the dawn around the hotel (the alarm was heard continuously until outside), is keeping safe by ISIS Rome. This obviously has nothing to do with the luxurious hotel, but composed a harmonious whole, or this was the impression one got of it. Nice place on the garden around the pool, adorned with art both historical and modern.

The assigned suite is not worth 400 euros a night ..

Need to say it was a very short stay so take it into consideration. I had a junior suite which was an excellent and very beautiful room. Spacious, very nicely decorated (some may consider it old style) and all details taken care. Nice balcony with a lovely view(6th floor). Quick room service and a very comfortable bed. I will definitely choose it again when back in town

Location always charming, shame about the amateur bar management. Organization of the completely unsuitable aperitif service.

Hotel 5stelle located in one of the most beautiful places in Rome: Villa Borghese. Exit the hotel and cross the park gate and be Limoneto, Galleria Borghese, the zoo ... the structure and the furniture is obsolete, cold in a style that is neither classic nor modern. Maybe he needs a make-up.

I stayed one night in this fantastic Grande Hotel and I took advantage of the magnificent spa ... what to say .. "fantastic" would be an understatement .. perfect and spotless rooms like the spa (it removes any muscle tension thanks to portentous and various jets of water ) .. breakfast not very rich but all excellent ...

Would have received 5-stars a couple of years ago, but it has become a tourist trap that price gouges visitors to Rome. Still gets four-stars for the rooms, location, and garden. Price no longer worth aging hotel with questionable reception staff. Watch you valuables in this place and check you bill closely. But if you don't get robbed you could enjoy your visit.

Great decor,comfortable in good location. Hotel staff are a bit starchy. Expensive but with good inclusive facilities. No shuttle bus to airport as advertized unless prepared to pay 85 euros which is megga excessive. Better food elsrwhere. Get White taxi service independent of hotel.

I have stayed in many of the best hotels in Rome and I really appreciated the quiet location of this hotel and the great pool, which was especially appreciated in the mid-September heat. Breakfast was also excellent. I will be returning.

He visited for a conference. nice retro style. a little dispersed the conference area spread over 3 floors but the rooms are very beautiful.
