Staff are great - but they gave away our table (booked 3weeks in advance) despite 2phone calls & 1 messenger message enroute cause we were half hour late..
Nailed our arses for dancing for 30seconds but not once did i get soap out of any of the 3 dispensers in the ladies room - all night. Their Covid restrictions are debatable, as is their booking protocol Still, it is a great venue but there's plenty of room for improvement. Their cider is yuk too even though I practically begged for strongbow when I booked our table weeks in advance. Hospitality shouldn't dictate, it should accommodate......

We had the most amazing family dinner at Hard Rock Cafe in Darling Harbour. The food was sensational! The cocktails were sensational too! Highly recommend. The thing that made our night was our waiter, Zack, he absolutely went above and beyond for us! He made recommendations to our orders with such care and thoughtfulness that was absolutely unique. He was friendly, charismatic and unbelievably attentive! He made us feel so important and so well taken care of. Thank you Zack and thank you Hard Rock, we will be back!

We ve had a fabulous Mother s Day at hard rock!!!! I was so glad to see the place full and lively!
It was probably my 5th time at Hard Rock Cafe Sydney and we simply love it! Great food, lovely staff and fair prices cause the portions are very abundant

Only reason I don t give 5 stars is cause I think the ambiance could be nicer. I particularly don t like the way tables are displaced cause me particularly, don t feel comfortable with people coming and going all the time. I guess somethings could be improved...however food and drinks wise, great place and we will be definitely coming back many more times!!

The Hard Rock Cafe is one of the most amazing restaurants out there! It s comes with great customer service and a great view. Ethan and Lily were the ones who served us and they were amazing. I really felt like I was at home, I would 100% recommend.

My wife and I had a catch up with friends at Hard Rock and I must say the whole experience was great. We were seated next to the stage, but because we wanted to chat we were accommodated at a quieter quarter. Our server was fantastic and very cheerful, it almost felt as though we were the only customers there. The drinks were really good and the burgers were some of the best we have had in Australia. The atmosphere was great and the live music hit the spot. Would I go back for round two...hell yeah!

First up, it's great to see people out and about, eating drinking with their families whilst listening to live music playing in the background, this is a win and ticks all the boxes...
However, being a rock venue you'd expect overall decent sound quality and set up as this is what it's existence is based on. Hard Rock. Not so. A defeated sounding drum set that sounded like it hadn't been played in a while, sounding like it was coming from somewhere in a separate room, sound engineered by a rude, dismissive, arrogant young know it all, lacking basic social decency skills. On another note the booth seats that have clearly been worn, torn and ripped from what appears like years ago, gives one the sense of lack of care and upkeep, bringing the whole place down from a potential 4 plus stars... This place has been here since 2011, and personally I want to see it thrive, as I love music, food and drink. Hopefully this will prompt management with a better and clearer actionable guide... I hope so 16/01

I am not sure what misconceptions you are referring to... Ripped seats? Poor sounds quality? Broken hand washing tap? Young rude dismissive sound engineers that shoo you away with arrogance clearly inept at social interaction and feedback? Emailing you would only be repeating what I have clearly stated here...its up to whether you take it on positively and continue to improve, which is my hope, or dismiss it by replying with misconceptions...

Great location and view. We ordered the jumbo combo, a waitress came out 10 mins later and unapologetically told we are out of wings and can add in extra of another item. She seemed a bit rude. Rest the food was actually great.

What a fantastic experience! Took the family for Mother s Day. Food, drinks, and service were superb. Something for every taste both on the menu and on the walls. And mums ate for free!!! We will be back.

Food average. Service not good. Fajitas had no flavour. Dessert was nice. Table wasn't wiped down - crumbs over it yet no kids pens for the activities on menus 'due to covid' (ran out to newsagents and brought some). Had to ask twice after ordering for kids drinks which finally came after mains. They tried to put mains down on table and take entrees before we had finished eating them. Table was very cramped. Two wine glasses put on our table, told them not ours, away to discuss came back and put on table next to ours (didn't clean not that we touched but inconsistent covid rules)

We had a small group which had just visited the Maritime Museum nearby and were in need of lunch. We were greeted at the door in a very friendly manner and promptly seated without a booking. The selection of food is excellent and in expected style of American diner. All had a dish to their taste. Drink of the day was 1/2 price and a very well picked drop. Will visit again.
