Hard Rock Cafe Gatlinburg Review

Great service, food, and drinks from the full bar. Gift shop little over priced in my opinion but, it is a popular place so it's top be expected. Went for the live music and had a great time.

The food was horrible. Would not recommend that place. Menu very limited an to expensive.

First time eating here and it was amazing. The food was great, the place was beautiful, and the service was fantastic. My server was very nice and insightful and the chef cooked my burger better than ive ever had. I will always stop here while in Tennessee.

Hostess was fun and started our visit on a positive note. She stopped by the table to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. Food was very good, atmosphere was light and fun.

Quite pricy and the dinner was pretty good amazing scenery if you are into music and the atmosphere is nice . I've had better burgers in town at lower cost . The wings on the other hand were expensive but worth every penny, they were amazing .

Went there last night to take my significant other somewhere we hadn t been before. Whenever we were finally seated, it took 15 minutes for someone to get with us, after ordering we were served 30+ minutes later some of the worst and dry food we ve ever had. Not only was the food bad, the price is extremely high and cost $50 for two people to get chicken tenders and a normal burger. The amount of time we had to wait for every step and the quality of food made this a terrible experience. We won t be back.

We came here on vacation and was excited to see a Hard Rock Cafe. We've been to several other Hard Rock Cafe in otner locations and they were way better. The menu at the Pigeon Forge location was very poor and very over priced. Our server was only average and the gift shop wasn't much of a gift shop....very slim Pickens there too. Won't ever go back to this location. Very disappointed!

Great atmosphere, food and excellent service. I wish I could remember the young mans name that was our server. He was by far one of the best servers I ve ever had. I was a server and it s a tough business. People are cruel and don t care servers only make $2.13-$3.00 an hour as think leaving $3 on a $100+ meal is generous.
There was a couple sitting 2 tables over from us. I will be honest it took everything in many not to say something to them. I m not sure if they were just plain ignorant or got some sick pleasure out of torturing this guy. They ran him to death. Constantly wanting one thing after another. He was approaching our table to get our orders as the man lifted his glass hitting it with his spoon calling out the servers name. You could see the humiliation on the servers face as he asked us to please give him one second. This guy handled himself with such grace and discipline. Never allowing it to fluster him or cause him to miss a beat. He provided us with excellent customer service. The food was high quality and very good. our server deserves to be recognized for his incredible mannerisms. He never stopped smiling. He was very personable. He s an exchange student over here in the United States Working for the summer. He lives and attends school in Jamaica and is majoring in Engineering. He was just such a delight & we enjoyed our meal and getting to know him. He is very inspiring. He cares about his job and wants to provide the best possible customer service to his customer to ensure they have the best meal and dining experiences as possible. I couldn t thank him enough. I wish I could remember his name.

First Hard Rock I've ever eaten at, amazing food and atmosphere!

Food is WAY too expensive for the quality, service is sub par at best, and if there's no live show option, it's really no better than Applebee's.

The music was bad - no rock songs till more than 30 minutes in the restaurant. Was very surprising about the choice of music. The waiters seemed to be in a hurry to have us leave .

Food was horrible!!! Wait staff was super nice though and friendly. The decor is Cool! Food just made it a bad experience. The fries were hard as a rock, not crispy but solid....the mash potatoes were old tasting and the nachos tasted funny.

We came in late. Only 30 minutes to close, leaving a show next door. The staff was still extremely friendly and helpful. The food was still amazing. My steak was cooked exactly how I ordered it. The waitress still checked on us and our drinks regularly. We also still had access to the bar till well after close.

The food and drinks were amazing. A little pricey for what it was. But definitely a good experience.

I have always had an excellent experience here. The food is always incredible and the staff rocks (pun totally intended). I have never been disappointed by the live music. The bands I have has the pleasure of hearing play classic, energetic sets, and many encourage audience participation. Great food, great drinks, great rock memorabilia from your favorite artists,and great service, Dont forget to check out the gift shop before you leave. You wont be disappointed.

Love this place they have the best burgers and the music is family friendly and super happy and upbeat!!

I love it cause you get to bring your beloved pets to eat with you out on the Patio. They will provide the water bowl.

Party of five on 12/24, 7:30 pm, seated promptly. Our waitress was Mary, I felt a bit rushed to order.
Four of our orders came out together and one was lost. The four of us were pretty much done by the time the order did come out. Mary didn t make any apologies. No issues with the food,,
It was great as always. We did get containers to take our uneaten food & no bag was offered from Mary. We did get one from someone else.
North Star at the bar was a Rock Star!

Cool experience but honestly the food is overpriced and there are better for options around. Great to see all the history though.

Employees were polite and safe, they took your temperature before you entered, when we sat at the bar they made you physically distance, you had to wear a mask until food or drinks arrived

They had a "Dine With Your Dog" night, so we were able to bring our little dog with us to dinner and sit outside. Our waitress, food and drinks were amazing. We bought hurricane glasses and other souvenirs in the gift shop. Fun dinner stop on our vacation to Pigeon Forge!

I have never had such a horrible experience at a restaurant. My husband and I came for an early dinner around 4pm and the entire restaurant was hot! My 2 year's face as well as mine and my husbands were red and drenched with sweat by the time we left. Had to search for the bathroom as the staff was nowhere too be found. Then once finally seated the waitress would not give us a chance to get settled or look at a menu to order. She was very impatient. Once we ordered she came back to ask how we were 10 times no joke. But once our food came and we needed to talk to her about my steak being very under cooked and that we needed silver wear and other things she was nowhere to be found again. This continued until we had had enough and wanted our check. We flagged her down and paying the bill took 20 min as once we gave her our card she waited on another table and brought them drinks etc!

Enjoyed this experience but don't think we'll be back just because of the fact that everything seemed overpriced. The staff was excellent and our server was very attentive. The burger for me was average though, I was expecting something more for the price. My boyfriend however ordered a steak and said it was cooked perfectly. He orders medium rare and it was seared evenly on the outsides and pink in the middle. We did walk around and check out all of the art, our server even took a photo of us on the stage which was very kind.

The burgers that we had this afternoon were super greasy and a little undercooked for my families liking. My daughter wouldnt even eat her chicken tenders she wanted bc they were badly overcooked. The service really wasn't that great either and we went during a slow time. My overall experience with my family was horrible.

I went their with my family. Ordered a hurricane & long island ice tea. They were amazing . Very friendly waitress. I ordered the BBQ combo . The pulled pork was tough & overcooked. The ribs was much better .

Bathroom was clean... Restaurant was busy... Vegetarian be careful as they gave my sister beef to eat and told her it was plant base... They remade her food and it was finally plant base... Ofcourse no pictures to show it was beef cause the management removed before we could make a commotion about it... Staff was friendly...

This place has some nice memorabilia. Although not as impressive as some Hard Rock Cafe locations, the diversity was good. I was surprised to see "Counting Crows" guitar. Very cool!! It was tough to look at all the items on display because the close proximity to other guests. I also noted how dark it was inside as I prefer more lighting while dining. Seating was fairly fast, ordering was easy, and food arrived earlier than expected. As for the food, it was a little expensive, but that's expected. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal. I had a double cheeseburger, it was fulfilling with good taste. I have to applaud the staff. By far the best part of this location is it's employees. I travel and visit several different places, the employees here stand out! I dont know who is over staffing but good job! This will be why customers return. Overall a good experience for our party of 6.

Visited here for appetizers and drinks. Very cool environment. I always love the memorabilia and throwback music videos. Service was good. My wife had a raspberry lemon vodka & whiskey drink and enjoyed it. We got the loaded nachos and they were very good.

Food was decent, but there are way better options in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg.

Come here every time we are in town on vacation. I ve been to multiple Hard Rock cafes across the country and this one is my favorite hands down. Great service and cool pieces of memorabilia to check out. Sarah was our server and she made great suggestions and was great at her job! Highly recommend !

Wasn't what I expected. The staff was friendly and the food was great. But I felt the wait times for refills were a bit long expecially since it was not busy at all. We ended up waiting longer for our check then we did the food.

The food was VERY DRY!! Who ever they have cooking here needs to be replaced and someone with better cooking experience needs to be hired. Our waitress at first had an attitude like she didn't want to be waiting on us.(we still tipped her very well) She made it a point to take forever for our drinks to get to the table. My husband got a strawberry daiquiri because with the deal she told us about you would get a free cup at the gift shop once we took our receipt to the gift shop they were sold out of that particular cup which we thought they should have gave us the one off the table they didn't. So I had to settle with a different one. The restaurant was very clean. But for the money I spent here I probably won't be coming back when I do come back to pigeon forge Tennessee. Which is once if not twice a year.

We really like the cauliflower bites, just like buffalo wings. I tried the black bean burger and it was good, just couldn't pick it up and take a bit it was so big, so I just cut it up and ate it. We shared a brownie sundae, it is so big, i ended up taking over half of it with me.

Food was great! I had the fajitas, definitely recommend! And my significant other had the ribs! Great food, good service.

We had a wonderful steak salad on the porch with my favorite puppy. #scruffypuppyadventures

Well number 1 service was not so good and neither was the food. Was not much of a selection and what we did choose was not very good the bill was high and really did not enjoy. So would not go back

Hard Rock while fun for memorabilia is overall an average chain restaurant.
Food was average. Service was good. But its really just a concept.

First I tried 2 different beers and both came out sour. Drinkable, but not good. My wife's ribs came out and she couldn't even cut them with a knife. They did replace it with fajitas which were good. The staff was very nice and sympathetic, but no ticket adjustments were made.

In response to your question, I started out with a Heineken, then switched to a Stella. Both had the same sour taste. I then tried a Dos Equis and that was fine.

Fantastic food and service. I loved looking at the rock star memorabilia.

Came in at about 8:40pm with no reservation. Once seated, we had the pleasure of being served by Robert! The food was great, but being my first time there, Robert made it even better. He seemed very interested in our conversations with us and checked up on us every chance he got. Truly a remarkable person! Thank you so much Robert! Can t wait to come back. :)

Bad day to visit. Not many people and service was slow, food mediocre.

Good place. Not much charactor on inside. But did enjoy ourselves. For me Hard Rock in San Antonio s one of the best.

Service was good.. band was awesome. But sound guy kept flipping them off for some reason and they were not loud .. we were right by the stage and could have a conversation.. the sound guy cut them off 3 songs early. We wont be back because of his unprofessional behavior towards the band.

Came to pigeon forge for a small family vacation. Wanted to try hard rock with the kids and enjoy some great burgers. Love the fries. We went early so we would be the dinner rush.

Good atmosphere and music! Service was great! The "local ledgendary burger" was good, fried egg, bacon, fried green tomato, and the burger, with blueberry moonshine sauce on the side. Try it!

Having been to 30+ Hard Rocks in the US and Canada, Pigeon Forge has its own unique layout which will be familiar but just different enough for fans and likely impressive for any casual visitor.

The atmosphere is always filled with music in the background and strategically setup monitors throughout the restaurant. Interspersed between is a curated collection of music memorabilia featuring all-time top acts mixed with entertainers with local ties.

As you may expect due to the location, HRC's aren't the cheapest fare but they're also not anymore expensive than visiting an Applebee's this day and age. What you get for a few extra bucks instead is quality driven.

The staff, from the server to management, was very welcoming. I spoke with a manager who I hadn't realized was operating the entire restaurant - that's how down-to-earth everyone is.

It was such a positive experience that I look forward to going back again in the near future.

Great food as always! Also great service. Nikki was great! We also really appreciate that they let us dine with our dog, that was on the trip with us. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the spring weather. Thanks again Hard Rock Cafe!!

Menu is very limited . Extremely overpriced. Had fajitas but wasnt offered chips and salsa. Will not go back. Meal for 2 was 55.00. Not worth it at all

Omg I love this restraint i wanted to eat here ever since I was going to go to this place in NYC but at the time when I went was an hour and 45 mins wait. I was so happy i got to eat at the Pigeon Forge hard rock cafe. It was price decent for the upscale chain. Surprisingly for a Friday night there was alot of open seating which is great for those who didnt have a reservation. All the staff was nice and friendly. The band was great. I am willing to vist another hard rock cafe in the feature.

Wife and son raved about their meals. A Cobb salad and a steak burger, respectively.
I had a club sandwich. I don't think in the history of sandwiches, anyone has ever been excited about a club sandwich.
The decor was pretty good, but I feel like this location got last pick of the musician swag. Billy Ray Cyrus' shoes? Really?

Busy place, we had a very large group 23 people and they were able to accommodate us to 2 separate tables within 10 minutes and we were there during a busy time, our tables were side by side. The food was good and everybody enjoyed their food and drinks.

Service was great but steak was overcooked and air conditioning was out so it was miserable attempting to eat. Coupon code on receipt never appeared in email after submission of the longest survey I've had to submit after eating only one meal. Very aggravated as how I've always used the coupon to purchase an item(s) from gift shop before leaving and this time I left without making a purchase due to never receiving my discount code. Overall I was disappointed in this experience, but normally I have a great experience at Hard Rock Cafe so I'm still giving them 3 stars because they too suffered in that heat with a smile. The store should've just been closed until the air conditioning was fixed so this is to blame on management. I'm sure my steak wouldn't have been overcooked had the staff been in a normal temperature working.

Excellent place to eat and shop. The staff is always wonderful and courteous. First time at this one been to the one I'm Myrtle Beach a bunch of times. They are just as wonderful there. I highly recommend getting their signature burger

Food was awesome and the service was too!! But the best part of the whole experience was they are super pet friendly. They brought our little man a fresh water dish and a bone, there is also a pet walking station. We love finding places like this when we travel with our pup.

This place was fantastic! I went on a weekday afternoon and it was slow but the Hostess was so friendly and informative! She told us all about all the different memrobelia they had and which were the most special to that area! I love hitting all the Hard Rock Cafes and this one was GREAT! I so wish I could remember the name of the girl that was there that day so I could mention her specifically. I was with my daughter on a road trip and we didn't even know that Cafe was there! Such a great surprise and we were given the utmost in southern hospitality! Thanks again!

Food and service is awesome every time we go here! Love it. It's a "go to" every time we are in the area.

The most disappointing part of our entire trip to the area. It was food but I wouldn't try it again.
