I had a life changing experience here. I will be forever grateful I went!
I went to Hanley for treatment in the summer of 2018. The campus and amenities were amazing. Much more importantly, however, the staff was nothing short of incredible. The resident assistants were all over the campus and readily gave of their time and knowledge. Most of them were experienced in the AA program personally. The work of the Steps and the Big Book was far deeper than I had ever gone in my many years in the program. The staff at Hanley truly cared about my sobriety and, after I left, stayed in contact, excited about my continued sobriety. I would not recommend any place other than Hanley, when you get serious about sobriety.
What an amazing facility! I had the opportunity to participate in the amazing program at Hanley a little over 3 years ago. Their facilities are beautiful and top notch and the approach is completely different from many of the treatment centers in South Florida. The integration of the timeless 12 step approach is what makes all the difference here. Amazing staff in all departments! Definitely my first choice to recommend to any family member or friend who may be suffering with substance abuse disorder.
Hanley provides the opportunity, process and tools to get your life back. I am so grateful and blessed those who care about me introduced Hanley to me. The atmosphere is one of shared progress and encouragement. If you truly want what they have you will receive it and want to share it. Pat B
Excellent format and participation. Very great full they are having these meetings
This was the beginning of my new way of life. Thank you to all of the people at Hanley and my Higher Power for this gift!
The staff top to bottom (from House Keeping to Cafeteria, from R.A's. to Admissions and Alumni coordinators, and more) are Outstanding. The facilities are top notch and most importantly, the program is Real Deal Solution based, 12 step awesomeness! I can't begin to explain what it was like for me there, but I can say I Did get Exactly what I needed to make this happen for me and I will forever love the place!
#lifesavedrestoredchanged&re-engaged!
Thank you!

this facility is a one stop shop for alcohol, benzo, addictions. it is a cotton candy lined prison..all they offer is quick visits with doc, psychiatrists, psychologists, on going meetings, the non profit facility charges $33,000.00 for a 31 day stay and patients are encouraged to stay an extra 2 weeks. I was offered a scholarship treatment cost was 17 grand upfront. I was put on a quick detox with phenobarbs, after that my symptoms were not addressed. after 8 days I was off any detox plan and all that was left for me was a rigid schedule of meetings, mealtimes, sleep.
not being able to sleep was a big issue for me, this was not addressed, I was left to toss and turn mind and body in withdrawal agony . no radio no music, just the sound of the freight trains running all night long. hanley center is supposed to be a premier rehab.. save your money there are facilities that will work with your insurance. don't get pushed around. if you are hoping to get off Xanax realize it will take a lot more than the hanley center to get you better. do not go for a quick detox. a long weaning off process is easier on your mind and body I did not understand this until I was able to do my own research. I know that I will revert back to my pre-addicted self it takes time.. question everything!!
This is the worst place ever .counselor was horrible Debora christenson. Sucks. She should b . I fired
My name is Adam. I am an alcoholic. I was a patient at Hanley Center from October 15 through November 16, 2019. Prior to arriving at Hanley I had been a patient in two different detox centers. My alcoholism dates back to 4/2017. During my first detox, I spent 7 weeks in the hospital. I have been a patient in various in-patient and out-patient treatment programs since 2017. Although I was able to maintain periods of sobriety, i was never able stay sober. As all alcoholics, alcohol gained control of my life. I allowed alcohol to define me. I am an attorney with a very successful career in governmental employment. I am a husband and a father with three wonderful daughters. Yet, in spite of all the success and love that surrounded me , alcohol became my priority. Each one of us has our own sad story however, the ending is always the same. Either we decide to defeat it or we allow it to defeat us. We have to make up our minds. I made up my mind and then came Hanley. I believe Hanley saved my life. If it were not for the program I would not be writing this response. I would probably be dead. The program, the counselors, the staff and all the personnel are what makes Hanley such a successful program. They are the ones that build the camaraderie that defines the program. As a human being, we all want better. Many of us are afraid or have lost confidence in our lives because of our disease. At Hanley, the personnel inspired me to regain the character I once had. They gave me back my swagger and the confidence I had lost. In my mind there is no better program. Perhaps the programs success is related to the fact that most if not all the personnel have suffered from the same disease we share. They know what they are teaching because they have been there. I could go on for ever speaking about how great Hanley is. However, I shall end simply by saying Thank you Lord for allowing me to find Hanley and THANK YOU to ALL at Hanley Treatment. My the Lord bless us all.
Where to start? I was sent to Hanley center, for depression and back pain. Recommended by Jeffery Jay, out of Mi. This place was a joke. 36,000.00 for 31 days. The psychiatrist was off for most of the time I was their. Dec. 5- Jan. 5. They were transitioning. The pain classes , we had one. Everyone on vacation for the holidays. I had to pay for my back pain relief. 85.00 a time for acupuncturist.swimming an hour a day. No organization, whatsoever, I was put in a place I didn't belong! But, they didn't let me out. I asked, and asked. I was the first person to not get asked to stay on. Could that be that I was on to them? I felt horrible for the old people. Some had no idea how long they had been their. I had a spect scan done.nto this day, no Drs. In my area ever heard of this, so they couldn't read it. Upon intake, many, many pics were taken of my nude body.when leaving, I asked for those. They knew nothing about them. If you really care about your loved one, do not send them to that waste of money place. I returned with PTSD, thank you, and had to go to classes for 6 weeks, to get over what that place did to me.
I am truly grateful for Hanley Center at Origins. It saved my daughter's life.
I have worked here for 5 years and have gotten to watch so many miracles
I am so grateful for the experience I was blessed with at Hanley! It is an absolute honor to have been introduced to the steps through their program! I was properly armed with the facts about myself and the 12 steps. They actually care about each person they have there and almost all the staff is personally in recovery and lives the principles in all of their affairs. I recommend anybody struggling with alcoholism or addiction give yourself a chance and try Hanley out... if you want to quit and find you cannot there is a solution! Trust God. Clean house. Help others!
THANK YOU HANLEY!!!!!!

Living in Florida and having worked in recovery for years I have been to and seen many recovery centers. Hanley compares in no way. I have watched people transform in front of my eyes from a trembling mess into a confident, loving being brimming with love and compassion. Hanley has given me hope that there are good places left and people do care. They truly care about their clients and anyone that wants to get sober and commits to the process can do so. I've seen their family program work miracles and help families understand what their loved ones are going through.
I highly recommend this place for all your recovery needs. This is a beautiful place with an amazing staff, from the dinning hall chefs , Nurses, Councilors and and theathe is so relaxing. The staff really take pride in their patients and they take recovery very serious. I know from personal experience, and I owe everything to them. Thank you Hanley Center for all you do I appreciate you.
25 months sober. Hanley is an amazing place, full of recovery programs, good food and awesome staff who were all once just like me. Hanley has allowed me to continue my path to recovery on a daily basis. I would like to thank everyone.

I am a Hanley Alumni. The experience and wisdom I received while I was there was amazing I learned things about myself I would have never known thanks to all the staff especially the counslers the hard working nursing staff etc. I would Highly Recommend Hanley for anyone who is struggling with any addiction.
The staff and program are amazing. We just came back from the family program and learned so much about the disease of addiction and how to take care of ourselves as a family. We spent 10 years on this horrific roller coaster but finally found the right place. For the first time, we feel very hopeful and saw a change in our son that made us feel very good about our decision. If you send your loved one here, please participate in the family program. I could not be more grateful to these fine people for changing so many lives.
As I was transitioning from my previous job in the substance abuse industry I was seriously contemplating getting out of the industry all together. The Hanley Center reputation was what drew me in and I decided to interview for an open position. It's been over a year now and I couldn't be happier with the decision I made. The work environment should be held in as high of a regard as the services provided. I hope to be a part of the Hanley Center family for years to come.
This place changed my life. I was hopeless, full of fear, couldn't stop destroying myself. I hated myself for the things I have done during my addiction. Hanley at Origins gave me the gift of sobriety. But not only that. I transformed from a hopeless addict to a successful man. I am getting teared up just writing this .I knew I was going to die if I continued the way of life I was living.
I got honest for the first time in my life and was willing to do whatever it took to feel better and be clean. The therapists, medical team, counselors, RAs, kitchen staff, housekeeping, EVERYONE works as a team for the big picture. They genuinely cared about me. I been to multiple treatments in the past and this one was by far the most complete. They had a family program that is unprecedented. I wouldn't be where am at if it wasn't for Hanley. I genuinely love myself now .I can look into the mirror and smile. Thank God for Hanley. Seriously!
I chose to stay longer than what I signed up for and thank God. After inpatient I chose to go to their PHP program called TAO. That was a perfect transition before I got back to life. This place is a very sacred place to me. People think it's about the money but I am living proof that it is NOT. I paid for 6 months. On the 5th month my counselor told me that the treatment team believes that I am ready to continue my journey outside of Hanley. They told me that whenever I am ready to leave, I have the green light to go. They refunded me the remaining time that I did not stay.
I love you Hanley you will always have a special place in my heart. I am so grateful for you.
Hanley center at Origins legitimately saved my life. Their hands-on care, instruction, and empathy helped me heal spiritually, mentally, and physically. If you, or someone you love, is struggling with addiction, look no further. I do not have one bad thing to say about this place, and I am forever grateful for the recovery they unveiled for me. May God Bless them all, each and every one!!
I gave Hanley Center 5 Stars because they gave me my one and only love back. After over 50 years of abuses. He s been clean and sober for 3 years. We ve tried several places throughout the years , but they obviously had the staff that stood bye him and made it happen!
They taught him as well as myself how to make the right decisions in life when dealing with such a cunning disease.
I have my tools for learning and he has his and one day at a time it s working!
The program works if you work it!!
Having had the pleasure of working here for over 3 years I have been able to see patients and their families transform. A truly magical place.
This is a bad place where they force you to speak in group constantly and its all about the money. They gudge you off work books and meditation only! I was pretty much forced and treated as if i had no chance of staying sober. What was supposed to be 1 month turned into 6 because they made my parents believe i needed it. Im sober today and only had a 1 time slip up. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Ive been to much better rehabs here your just paying for leniency and good food.

And he said they were only together three minutes sarcastically - completely unprofessional. I had told another counselor that information and it was a breach of confidence.

I have worked in several treatment facilities in Palm Beach County. Hanley Center at Origins is by far the best facility I have ever worked for. The reputation within the community for the care provided to patients is absolutely true. The treatment is evidence-based, individually tailored to each patient, and effective in helping patients achieve long-term sobriety. Transformation and healing happens here. I have seen the most hopeless cases come through the door for help, and walk out a changed person.
