Hampton Inn - Sea World Review

Heater didn t work, kids were freezing. No sheets or blankets for the sofa bed! Not sheets or blanket for the pack and play we requested. Overall very bad experience:(

Very nice hotel. Super friendly staff. Very clean. Great location.

Location is very good if going to Sea World. You can easily get to all things Disney as well if you have a rental car. Rooms are clean, and staff is polite and professional.

The rooms are clean but small. No drawers for storage. Staff were receptive. Breakfast is included but a fiasco with so many theme park visiting families.

Do not stay at this location. General Manager is very rude! I called guest services and requested a manager 3 days prior to my arrival because I realized I double booked. Guest services advised me a manager was not available. I then advised guest services I would like to keep my room until I spoke to someone directly. I looked at my account and noticed a cancellation fee. I immediately called guest services again and now the general manager Sue was available. I asked her why did she cancel my room and I did not authorize her to and why did she charge my account a cancellation fee. Sue stated my room was not cancelled. I said then remove the cancellation fee she advised me she would not remove it until I checked into the hotel and then it would fall off. I advised Sue to show me in writing that was ok to do and she could not provide documentation. I advised Sue I would be contacting corporate office because that is false information. I called corporate once again and they saw where she was cancelling my reservation. After speaking with corporate office I will say Hampton is a great place to stay however when you have others like Sue as a general manager it gives the entire hotel chain a bad rep. Not one time did I tell Sue to cancel my room. Terrible customer service!!

I called in to cancel my reservation because my two kids were sick and they still wouldn't stop the charge to my credit card! I'm not rich to let $167 go to waste by being charged for something I couldn't even enjoy! How unfair!.. Hampton are you so much in the hole you couldn't honor my "free cancellation" due to the circumstances?... See I know people in the Hotel industry and I am aware that it is up to the Managers discretion to allow for the no charge. You could gain much more business by being understandable when things like this happen to people.

Well, there were a big room and nice couches and nice tvs and other appliances.

Lovely hotel with awesome breakfast selection. Only downside was Fox News forced on breakfast eaters.

The Hotel had rooms available for purchase; however, they BLOCKED the use of points and certificates. I understand that there are "availability" triggers. This was "day of" so they would not make an exception, they would prefer to have an empty room. I guess "loyalty" programs are "one way". I got a room at another brand in the same area. I prefer hotels that want my business even when they may NOT need it. Good thing this hotel is close to a theme park and a convention center.

Most people go to take a shower to get cleaner, but that would have been impossible due to the pubic hair left behind in the tub and shower before we got our room!!! There was also a long hair in the (clean?) towel. The room smelled moldy, the eggs looked like bean bag filling, and the receptionist should find another career that's NOT in the hospitality industry. Next time I travel I will make it a point to choose something other than Hampton Inn and Suites.

The hotel staff is friendly and helps as much as they can. However the rooms, while nice, o my have 2 trash cans. Both of which is in the bathroom. The bathrooms have no exhaust fan and they supply you with single ply toiletpaper. The free breakfast and wifi are both very nice and the cable comes in clear.

Great hotel!!! I went to Sea World stayed there 1 night, it was beautifully decorated, rooms super clean and spacious. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was very good too. There wasn't anything that l could really complain about so l definitely recommend it and will book again on my future trips to Orlando.

I had to have my sheets changed before I could go to be because there was hair in the bed from the previous occupant.

A good hotel, clean and safe, a good breakfast (even during the pandemic). Our family of six visited the hotel on a weekend trip to Disney. The room was comfortable, the staff helpful, and the overall environment was great. It's right outside Sea World and about 15 minutes from Disney. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise, with a wide variety of options, even hot options, which isn't the case in most locations right now.

Their price match guarantee is a marketing tactic and an absolute joke. I spent several hours on the phone where they transferred me to different departments that were the incorrect departments in order to give me the run-around. I provided them with all the necessary information including screenshots of the lower price. After multiple conversations of not getting anywhere I tried to email. In emailing them they had a different person respond to me every time I asked a question or answered one of their questions so that they could also dodge honoring their price match guarantee. If there are this many problems before you even stay at a hotel I can assure you it's a good choice to not stay there. I have canceled my reservation and do not plan on doing business with this hotel chain again. Very unprofessional

We ended up switching rooms. The hotel price wasn t bad I paid $300 for 4 nights. But our first room we stayed we saw a roach and at first I thought it was a water bug because it was in the shower and it was small but when we came back from Disney world we saw one on the wall near the kitchen area ( we had a king suite) and I started to check my snack bag on the counter and found a roach in it. We don t have roaches at our house so it was upsetting. We threw the snacks out and I went down stairs and requested a room change and the lady at the desk allowed us to change rooms and I really liked her and was thankful for that. She also came up and we showed her the roaches we killed and she said she will see about and exterminator the next day. I ve stayed in many hotels and have never seen a roach in any that I ve stayed in. I know it s not really their fault you can t help what some people bring to hotels or even what your hotel just happens to get but I still don t want to bring any roaches home from a vacation. The first room also smelled liked mildew a little and one of the elevators went out of service while we stayed and that was scary because we noticed the elevator shook pretty bad when coming to a stop I m just glad no one got hurt. But I won t be staying here again honestly I did appreciate the lady that helped us switch rooms but over all I didn t care much for this place. We booked for the price and for the hot breakfast but they didn t have waffles for some reason so I didn t really eat but my kids and husband ate the omelets which he said were very good. . We will be staying at a nice resort next time it will be worth the money and cleanliness.

Good value for money. Everything is delivered clean, however, due to covid measures, they do not clean unless you request it at the front desk. Breakfast included is self service, but everything is packed and they provide disinfectant towels for the tables and chairs. The bed, sheets, mattress and towels in very good condition and soft. For my taste the mattress is very soft but OK. I would stay here again

Great Hotel except we reserved a room with a king bed and was given a room with 2 queen beds, clean room and bathroom, very quiet and peaceful, but when questioned about our king bed the front desk clerk had no apologies and shrugged it off, i have always loved Hampton Inn but i won't be staying again

Hotel staff was courteous and the stay for the weekend was great.

My Husband, myself and My Daughter just relocated from Dallas to Orlando and we were in a difficult situation on Monday, January 22, 2019 at 1:00 a.m. Gustavo and Andrea went out of their way to assist us so we could get a few hours sleep. They understood and treated us with respect even though I am a Diamond Member. I came to Orlando an inactive Hilton Team Member but have a few upcoming interviews so I know I'll be back on the team shortly and will be back to enjoy this Beautiful Hotel with My Family...T.E.A.M.

Do not stay here, customer service is horrible once there is a problem they are in no hurry to get it resolved and make it right. Could care less about their customers

My sister and I stayed here June 17th - 18th. We were very impressed with the decor and cleanliness of the hotel lobby area and rooms. The complimentary breakfast was wonderful and the staff kept everything stocked and replenished in a timely manner. The fresh baked cookies in the reception area were tasty! The staff were all nice and seemed to love their job. We expressed how pleased we were with our stay and we've already recommended this hotel to friends and family. We'll definitely stay here again when we visit the Seaworld area.

Clean room, delicious breakfast, and nice pool area. Only thing missing is a hot tub, but not a deal breaker.

I stayed here last April for Disney World trip and while the beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean, they had a stuffed SeaWorld animal in every room and on the second night we stayed there, we had to get a new room the second night, we did not have an animal in the room and when we left, we were charged for the animal. It was like $18. So I called and told them and they said they would talk to their maids and check the cameras and said the maids saw no animal. Well that was the point. There was no animal to begin with so whoever took it from our room before we got in there did not get charged but we did instead. There needs to be a better system set up for this or no animal at all. You're guaranteed to get charged more should that happen to you.So make sure you dont stay in a hotel that does this.

Great hotel, new and comfortable, but outside of the "meiuca" of Orlando.

Well...we had to shorten our stay here because the other guests ruined the hotel for us. I'm giving it two stars because they have nice rooms, nice free breakfast, and Bonefish Grill within walking distance. However, the cheap prices brings ghetto guests. Weed smoking down the hallways, screaming and banging on doors and walls until 2am and alot of cursing coming from rooms. Our room smelled like a bar when we first checked in. We Will NOT be back.

Clean rooms and good location, breakfast is good too

My visit could have been better. The tub dripped all night. Worse yet, I spilled some food in my bed and rather than bother to change the sheets, the housekeeper just covered it over with the duvet. I am sure there are better hotels in the area for the same price.

Stayed here Dec 14 to 17 room was great room had a shower door no tub which was great on saturday the 16 i had a friend over and we were talking to the front desk about directions to papa johns behind universal the manager of hotel over heard me and gave me a 25.00 gift card i will definitely be back to this location staff is very friendly and breakfast was really good

I actually loved this hotel but there were a couple things I wanted to suggest. Firstly, it is literally next door to Sea World. And offers perks if you go to those parks. Unfortunately we were headed to universal but we will be back for Sea World. Very clean and quiet and smelled like wonderful fruits throughout the building and rooms. Check in was about the quickest I've ever checked in to a hotel. Room was a double queen studio with a fold out sofa and plenty of space but would have liked some sort of dresser for unpacking instead of digging through bags. There is a rack system in the tv stand but the wire racks look like they would work better for groceries or shoes or something. Bathroom door swings right up to the toilet so no closing the door while sitting on the toilet. Water in tub didn't turn all of the way off and dripped. Breakfast is from 6am to 10am. Make your own waffles, pastries, cereal, eggs, fruit, and juices. Didn't get a chance to get in the pool as it was locked at 11pm even though the time said 10pm and people were still in the pool. Could be a little later for people who are out all day. The fitness center closed at midnight so we were only able to spend about 20 minutes in there. CVS and 7 Eleven are right behind it. Parking is free and should the parking lot be full, there is plenty of parking close by. Enjoyed our stay and will stay here again.

For a relatively new hotel, it is not being kept clean. during our stay the hallways were never vacuumed and appeared to not have been vacuumed for several days prior to our arrival. Dropped some water from our cooler on the floor upon getting into room and used a towel to wipe it up and the towel turned black...entrance tile and bathroom tile obviously not recently mopped. Coffee and Hot water in Lobby not maintained, on three separate evenings attempted to get hot water for a cup of tea before bed, water was luke warm at best. Tried to call and address concerns with General Manager who never returned calls. I Stay at Hampton and Hilton Properties exclusively during personal and business travel. This location is poorly maintained for a resort community. Disappointing experience.

We stayed there for 8 nights during Christmas break and overall it was value for money in my case. Breakfast was okay.

Water spills out thru shower curtains and no way to stop lots of water on floor. May be they need to use better curtains or liners.

No functioning exust in bathroom makes it humid.

Good location if you are going to Sea World. Non dumb resort fee or parking fee. The pool is basic and will get the kids tired.

This Hampton Inn has the updated contemporary decor like that of Hampton Inn Statesville NC. The bathroom has a sliding door, undermount sink with Corrian countertops and plank hardwood floor. The bedroom area has a large 42 inch tv, table extension with 2 square leather ottomans underneath, large work table, microwave, fridge and comfortable beds.

The wifi speed, in my 2nd floor room near the elevators, measures at 5 mps so downloading a Netflix movie was quite slow. And it took a few tries to log onto their wifi system.

The hotel is conveniently located off exit 72 and close to SeaWorld.

Great location very close to Sea world. Not sure you'd want to walk to the parks but there are trolleys to get you around. The room we had was very big. You could fit multiple air mattresses it cots to sleep extra people. The bed were fine. But the pillows were a mess of overfilled fluff that compressed to very little.

Always helpful having breakfast available before you start your day. Plan dinner somewhere as it's not a terribly pedestrian friendly area.

Checking in was fast and easy. That was all the interaction we had with the staff. We didn't really need anything from them. We stayed in 203. The room was beautiful! It was spotless and very large. There's a kitchen area, living area, large desk , large tv, king size bed, large dressing closet with dress area and sink, separate shower and toilet. Two very large windows. It was like a little suite. The hot breakfast is pretty good. We were able to get a voucher for a free bus to Sea World and also a ticket for 1 fast pass ride at the park.Lots of restaurants nearby within driving distances.

For any of you who have stayed at any Hampton Inn before, this will be a refreshingly familiar stay. My room was a bit small, even by Hampton Inn standards, BUT smelled beautiful upon my entrance. I was originally only staying one night, but my bed was so comfortable that my stay had to be extended to two nights. ;-) For lil' excursions like this for Me, Hampton is the ONLY way to go!!

Great location, comfy beds, love the breakfast bar. My only issue was that our shower curtain rod seemed to be loose, thereby making the curtain slide open slightly when showering. Great service overall.

The Room was neat and clean very spacious except Fire Alarm came on had to vacate premises until FIREFIGHTERS Finish Resetting the Alarm

Horrible. I am a 25 yr plus Hilton member and this was probably one of the least pleasuble stays my family and I have had at any hotel. I am a loyal Hilton member and it pains me to write this. Hope is was a one off experience and not a sign of things to come at Hilton
