Very good attention. A special thanks to Dolores, who helped us and guided us with great kindness
Clean rooms, friendly staff and within walking distance of great restaurants and attractions
They do not have parking. You need to park in public paid parking.
Everything is good, looks like a normal hotel room. Pillows are soft an fluffy and things are nice.
Great exceptional customer service. I'm really impres.its above and beyond
Excellent Service. Top Quality. One Of The Best In The World.
We paid over $300 a night and stayed for 3 nights. The location is not bad. The rooms are very small - which is understandable because it is in Manhattan. What was very irritating was that the space in the room was not utilized properly. There was very little table / end table space to keep your phone, glasses etc. next to your bed. There is a big awkward cabinet next to the bed. We heard a lot of outside noise from the people near the elevators, so sound insulation is very lacking. The breakfast area is very poorly designed. No space for the people to get their food and find a place to sit. Breakfast was OK, nothing great. The batter for the Waffles takes so long to pour through the badly designed nozzle, that it causes a traffic jam in the already crowded serving section.
Oh, why do hotels not even provide a bottle of water to every staying guest for each night they stay? It may cost the hotel half a dollar but would take care of an essential need for the guests.
Might be a little too compact, but has nice breakfast!
Excellent service, very good attention 100 percent recommended.
Nice hotel, small rooms! Would have given them 5 stars but parking was out raging!
Nice clean rooms. Small, but that is to be expected in Manhattan. My on complant is the elevators took forever in the mornings.
Value for money, fantastic location.....it's a challenge to get a seat in the breakfast room
This hotel offered just enough for a good price. I was a little upset that my room was switched from a king sized bed to two doubles without notifying me of the change, but aside from that the majority of my experience was positive. The staff were all wonderful. The room itself seemed congested, but for the price tag, I'm not complaining. The shower door did not stay closed during use. Overall, 4/5 stars. Great price, decent stay.
Very good hotel, super clean. Excellent breakfast. There is always free water and coffee throughout the day.
Not worthy of the money, very small rooms, small shower room, untidy bed spreads, noisy and suffocating rooms.
Great location. Parking and unloading can be a pain but that s New York in general. Best bet would be to use public transportation to get to NYC. Penn station is only a 5 minute walk away. Not the most glamorous view but you re going to be spending most of your time outside the room anyways.
This is my favorite hotel to book when visiting Manhattan. Full breakfast and close to train station.
Good central location, friendly staff. Otherwise standard Hampton Inn. Rooms small for regular HI, but actually large by NYC standards.
There's no parking for this hotel, had to park in a garage across the street $40! For one night, they need to discount more than $1.00... everything else the rooms were good just small as you would expect in the city
Excellent location, excellent service and perfect breakfasts,
The staff is super friendly and super special very attentive to the needs of customers
Good coffee. Great Location. Room a bit small but normal for such a location.
Great location for attending events at Madison Square Garden. It's only a block away. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. I give it 4 stars because rooms are pretty small.
Excellent location, smaller rooms but it is NYC. First room I had smelled of mold/mildew and was fairly bad, but the front desk was incredibly helpful and polite and swapped my room for a much better one, very clean and fresh. Breakfast is included, the usual suspects, nothing to write home about.
The rooms were cold and we had to move 3 times even after the engineer came to try to repair the heater. He did not know how to repair the heater and was on the phone with someone who was off duty who tried to help. Unpleasant experience
A great hotel with fantastic service, only complaint was the noise from outside even on the 22nd floor, but thats time square so you obviously take the good with the bad
Very nice hotel lovely breakfast and great rooms. Only problem is the lifts
Pros: Great location; hot breakfast from 6 to 10am; free snack packs offered every morning; free chilled water bottles available at all times (upon request); exceptionally friendly and helpful front desk staff. Cons: Small rooms - too small for a family of four; uncomfortable beds (this is subjective, of course); no mini fridge.
Excellent attention by staff and facilities. Comfortable seats, very good location
wonderful staff. they helped me get around the city, fixed every problem fast. friendly faces and smiles. great, clean breakfast area and staff.
Just be aware of extra charges for the staff to book certain services for you like hotel/ airport shuttles. They charge you and extra, non-refundable fee to book the shuttle service for you when you can do it online for free. Overview I had a great experience!
Spaced rooms with really good pillows, air conditioner, safe and free coffee :) The breakfast is tasty with good options to eat and drink, free wifi for all guests, unfortunely the computers at the hall isn't news and you don't have privacy to use. Overall is a really good hotel with a fair price.
Highly recommended for New York, all good, including breakfast
Service is fast and responsive. Unfortunately the day that we removed our 'do not disturb cqrd' (for cleaning and replacement towels). There was half a cigarette on the floor next to one of the beds. Mind you we're all under the age of 18, and on a school trip. The vending machines didn't have drinks. And the elevators are a little slow. The waffle makers make perfectly cooked waffles, one is harder to turn. Other than that. Great service!
I liked, clean excellent breakfast, rooms somewhat small but good for what is done in them, good WiFi and super friendly staff
Convenient location. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Good breakfast.
Great value...clean, friendly and accommodating to pets. This is our third stay. Highly recommend.
Clean, modern, polite service. Loses a star to the microscopic sink/mirror in the bathroom - no room for toiletries!
It was very good. Reception staff were friendly and areas were clean.
very good location but rooms too small for the price they charge
AC in unit wasn't working. Small room size and breakfast was too crowded with not enough food. Def not worth the price of $200/night.
Such a convenient location! 1 block from MSG. Clean and friendly staff.
Average hotel. Noisy aircon and carpet floors. I don't like single use plastic, lot's of that in the breakfast dining room.
Another great stay at this hotel. It s our go-to hotel whenever my family stays in the city. It s clean, comfortable and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Can t beat the location for convenient access to the midtown sights. We will be back!
Was immediately greeted upon entering (and every subsequent trip through the lobby after that). Check in process was quick and smooth. Elevators were efficient. Room was average size by NYC standards. Room was very clean. Breakfast was good, although space is a little cramped. I travel to New York regularly for business and I will return to this hotel.
Fabulous hotel stay!!!!!!!
I am extremely happy with my Experience, the service is exceptional. All the staff I met with were helpful, friendly and very professional. I was given a birthday card, balloons and wine for my birthday from the manger. Khadijah at the reception was really helpful. Thank you so much Khadijah, and Janilda for the birthday gifts!!!!
The beds are very comfy and the facilities more than adequate. A most comfortable stay! Overall experience is awesome.I'll recommend this hotel to every couple and family.
From arrival to departure it was the worst experience ever. Cleanliness is definitely a lack customer service horrible incompetent individuals! Manger is brainless I wouldn't stay here if I were you.
I always stay this hotel for business, the location is good, close to penn station and there is a lot of restaurants nearby. The staff are cheerful and helpful. Great team!
The room is clean , price is fair. No complains!
Rooms with relative comfort, OK cleanliness, lobby and breakfast room somewhat cramped.
Comfortable hotel with a very diverse breakfast and always with warm cookies at the reception, very well located, close to metro stations.
Small rooms but big service. The rooms are extremely small for 3. Two would manage reasonably in these tight rooms. But the room is perfect for one. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The street sounds are well muffeled and the breakfast is generous
Price is average for. A downtown hotel of this quality.
Those looking for an affordable mid-range hotel in Midtown Manhattan were reflexively penned to Pennsylvania. That is not recommended. If you still want to be close to Madison Square Garden, the Empire and Broadway, the Hampton Inn is in good hands. Clean rooms, good sanitary facilities and separate beds for friends of non-swinging sleep are available. Everything about the price acceptable for NY. You can eat breakfast here on cardboard dishes and not very variable, but nearby there are Eaterias with the special atmosphere. The staff is friendly, the elevator for wheelchair users a bit tight, but usable. Occasionally, young people cause a little unrest, but in narrow corridors only briefly. It is worthwhile to book on time. Sometimes the prices vary depending on the provider. That's my address, if I'm allowed to enjoy New York once again.
The hotel was very clean, the front desk staff was very personable, and we really appreciated the personal touch by the front desk. We were in town to celebrate my twins 13th birthday, staying 2 nights at the hotel. When we arrived back to the hotel on the second day we found a birthday card addressed to my kids, signed by the hotel staff, and a few tasty treats. The kids were impressed. Thank you for going the extra step!
The only issue was the loud AC unit in the room. Every time it would come on, there was a very loud buzzing noise that lasted 5-7 minutes. Highly recommend getting that looked at. Other than that, no complaints.
Thanks for a making our stay in NYC a great one!!!
Comfortable beds. Staff are very nice and try to be helpful. Small rooms and small breakfast area. Hard to find a spot to eat or find food but considering it is NY, it is reasonable.
Great staff, good location. Rooms are tiny but that is expected in NYC.
Neat, clean, well maintained and good service. Conveniently located down the block from Penn Station and a short walk to Herald Square (Macy's). Breakfast room can get busy at peak times in the morning. Stairwell from upper floors do not connect directly with lobby and exit you out onto the street so waiting for the elevator may become somewhat of a hobby.
One of the worst Hampton Inn I have stayed. room is very small and the old. there is foul smell from the AC
A good place to stay, central, with meters nearby. Clean and just what it takes to sleep and shower. The rooms and the bathroom are not large but functional and clean. Worth it if the price fits you. Breakfast very well and there are two people at reception along with the breakfast staff who speak Spanish. I don't put 5 for the size of the rooms, but I recommend it.
The team are all very helpful; Delores on the breakfast service is gem! Room was quiet and beds good. Room and bathroom clean and tidy. Breakfast is not gourmet but good for fuelling up for a heavy day of work or tourism. Two double beds in room make it a tight squeeze. Easy walk to all mid Manhattan and Penn sta and subways at 5 mins walk. 31st is a fairly quiet street.
This Hampton Inn Manhattan at Madison Square Garden was a great place to stay! Clean comfortable rooms (altho small, they were nice), very kind & accommodating staff (Thank you Justine, Jenina, & Elena!!!)! The free breakfast was excellent! I am very pleased and will definitely be returning to this Hampton Inn the next time I go to Ny City!
good point
The bed is large. Close to the station (pen station). Connection of net (wifi) is early.
Bad point
There is no bathtub. There is no toothbrush, hair dryer or refrigerator.
Good hotel. Nice rooms and free cookies at the lobby! :)
Excellent hotel, good location, good service and breakfasts included!
Very clean but small room, excellent breakfast, good reception, near everything, not so good neighborhood. For the price is perfect.
Extremely tiny room, even for NYC. It's fine for a one night stay for a concert or something, but no more than that. Great location to Penn Station.
Nice rooms with coffee maker and supplies to make your own or they have 24 hours coffee and tea. Helpful staff. Few Hotels in the city offers breakfast included, one of the best in the city. Cafeteria crew is the best; everything's done well and kept very clean.
This hotel was very nice, clean and the proximity to the venue was perfect.
This is the 10th hear that I'm staying here and the rooms are always great the staff is great and the breakfast in the morning is great
Hotel well located (all on site, restaurants, cafes, subway ...), small and basic but comfortable room, basic breakfast, value for money correct because hotel in the heart of Manhattan
Nice place to stay for the evening if you are planning on spending most of your time outside the hotel.
Negatives to consider are the following: The hallways are exceedingly narrow; avold if you suffer from claustrophobia. The rooms are small; there are no mini-fridges to help keep drinks cols. Instead, you need to trek to one of the ice machine floors to fill your little bucket. We were only provided 2 towels, and only 2 partial rolls of T.P. Perhaps not unusual for a building in Manhattan, space is definitely a premium.
The positives are many: The staff at the front desk is extremely helpful and friendly, and willing to help make your stay as pleasant as possible. The rooms are clean and modern-looking. Location is prime - midtown, a block away from Madison Square Garden. Thr perfect place to crash after a concert or game.
The staff is friendly and knowledge able. I had Justine check me in and she was friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are large. This is a great place to stay
I am so loving this place! A cozy room for me and buddy to sleep in for just 2 nights before we leave NYC! The breakfast offered was great, compared to the other hotel i stayed earlier. This place is also a few steps away to Madison Square or Penns Statio or Korea Street. Its so covinient to everywhere! Oh btw, across the streets opposite the hotel, theres this big departmental store! They sells a great good deals for snacks and every other thing
