Bet a winner in every race I'm now a millionaire
I wish.
Good entertainment but horrendous pricing for drinks.
Great day out in the stands!! Pity about the weather, lots of booze and bantz, well stewarded, Georgie Toffollo handing out the prizes...
Very nice place very high quality from the start to the end
Sorry, was distracted by phone call and did not have a chance to finish my review.Absulute great night out for myself and brother, Part of the Carey glass group in Box 12 Definatley Will be back.
Lovely day at racecourse but path from public car park was terrible. It was muddy in places very rough especially for pensioners. I don't know why gate next to carport could not be opened at end of races.
Had a lovely day out,all the staff were lovely and courteous, weather was good for most of the day, first time there in over 20 years but won't leave it so long the next time
Was a guest of the Chairman's and director Sandy Wilkie and had a really great day.
I really enjoy attending Hamilton Racecourse throughout the season but unfortunately they still aren't part of the Rewards For Racing partnership (I was informed last season that this would be something they could possibly look to address but no sign of this happening yet) so I'm still unable to spend my points on this track.
Really good night, didn't bet a winner but atmosphere and entertainment very good
So it's not AYR on Grand National Day but you get a good view, and easy to get in and out from. Never been lucky here! But I like it. Form means nothing on this course, unless you don't go for form!
Beautiful, clean, amazing staff. Amazing customer service
Never been so wet in my life as went on wet day, parking was nightmare as told too park on wet grass and wasnt the only one pushed out
As a recent guest at this accommodation, I really don't know where to begin with in terms of satisfaction. I had stayed at this place for nearly a week and a half as I was working at the Commonwealth Games 2014, and I had long hours to work every single day. This meant I would expect myself to come back to my "hostel" with the intention of resting.
However, facilities that were provided was absolutely atrocious, they had a commercial canteen though the manager didn't even have the courtesy to open until the very last day of my stay and that too because apparently they had an event due to take place the next morning.
There were approximately 70 people living there in small cubicles where they didn't even have locks from outside so that guests like myself can secure out valuable items. This was just one of the common issues, the main problem was Infact they didn't actually provide any water facility for guests like myself and others to use which I believe is a common need for any human being.
Another Heath and Safety problem was the fact that there was a bee nest just above the front entrance door, though luckily my room was deep inside which means it wasn't a concern for my but I really do feel sorry for the guests who had to sleep at the front end of the property as they would fear just to even open their windows so that there is a little ventilation.
But the main issue that I thought was the fact that the manager would show this rude attitude towards us when few of us including myself complained and she would speak to us like we were the enemies.
More worryingly, there was this particular incident when one of my colleague who was from Liverpool complained to the cleaner about the lack of water supply, as a response the cleaner actually replied back saying "why don't you go back to Liverpool, if you think this place is bad". There were several other issues that nobody took consideration of however, these were the serious ones!
Been here for weeks for house prepares really cumfy bed spotless clean staff fantastic every day can't help enuf
As far as expectations go, its best you drop any you have.
I'll start with the basic necessities any accommodation should have.
Cleanliness - None. The common room looked as though it hadn't been hovered in quite a while, The tables in that room needed a good scrub and a section of the carpet was what I can only describe as... Chewed. by what? I'll leave that too your imagination. On to the bedrooms. Not once while I stayed were the sheets, duvet cover or pillow case changed. Not once while I stayed was my room cleaned in any manner, whatsoever. The "kitchen". The kitchen had flies buzzing round from day one.. Need I say more? Showers and Toilets. The shower floor was flooded constantly and the toilets were despicable. The smell and state of the toilets on the few occasions i used them was attrocious.
Customer service - If only.. The rudeness of staff and the manager was appaling. Not only would they not listen to justified complaints of the people staying there, They would not perform tasks such as regular maintence or cleaning when rightly requested. The manager and staff rarely visited our part of the building and when they did, they would ignore and even have the audacity to complain about the customers wishing to speak to them.
Appliances - A dirty microwave, a regualr size fridge (with a very small freezer built in) and a kettle. Between more than 5 people, this becomes a problem. For us, it became a problem. They have a real kitchen which you cannot access and which was not open for service until the day of our departure. The food that is prepared in that kitchen isnt of great quality and is frankly overpriced for what it is. They have a washing machine which they charge you to use, and a tumble dryer which they charge you to use (which honestly doesnt even work properly as my clothes came out still soaked). Oh, and they also have a iron, which i did not have the pleasure of using.
Safety - There were no locks on the outside of bedroom cubicle doors (yes, you will be sleeping in a cubicle). They had a lockable wardrobe inside but it was very small, both height and width wise. There was a wasp's nest above the laundry room which was not removed until a day or two before our departure, This was a problem for some people as you could imagine. The bathroom and toilets were not kept in a sanitary condition.
Overall - I would never stay again and would go out of my way to let others know to avoid it. It really was that bad.
Great night at Hamilton racing .the dream team goes every year .for Saint and sinners .entertainment fantastico. Didn't pick any winners . .see u all next year .
Great atmosphere very busy there is plenty bars and after the racing finishes there is cabaret.
Typical horse racecourse. Well run, excellent facilities, can be very busy especially on themed days.
A good day out excellent facilities food and drink. If you catch a winner or two all the better.
