Filed a claim around 2 years ago never collected paid 3000 out of pocket to fix my car. just filed another claim last week all the windows in my 2013 Mustang were broke out and they told the shop where it was taken they were only going to pay 300. i called and kept getting transferred from person to person then i just got hung up on all together. very bad company pretty sure im going to end up reporting them or suing

Horribly incompetent company. Poorly run with incompetent staff. Ever since they renewed my contract they have had problems with my automatic payments. They insisted it was a problem with my bank. I checked with my bank and after spending an hour at the bank with my banker on the phone with Hallmark we finally got my insurance payment to go through, but it required them to delete all my information in their credit card system and reentering everything for it to go through because their system, NOT MY BANK, kept reversing the debit for no reason. Their system kept saying it was because of a problem with my address. There's no problem with my address. They had canceled my insurance without even telling me. I found out a week later. I hoped the problem would be resolved after my bank talked them through it, but alas the same problem this month, again! I have no confidence in this company. It's run by arrogant, incompetent idiots. I'm going elsewhere and I advise anyone else to do the same.

If you have had issues with this company please report them to the Federal Trade Commission. They need to be investigated on a federal level! Cynthia Buckholz and Jamie Dupree are complete failures at their jobs. They disregarded all of the evidence that was provided to them and are guilty of a Bad Faith Claim. I have provided over 25 minutes of videos, 35+ photos, and security footage of the damage their insured caused to my vehicle and they blamed it on the age of my car. STEER clear of this company and their employees. The managers and staff do not care about investigating claims to the fullest extent and they feel like they don't have to provide a claim outcome based on the evidence that is provided to them. I am currently escalating above Cynthia and Jamie to try and speak with a staff member who can perform a proper investigation. Official complaints against this company, Cynthia Buckholz, and Jamie Dupree have been filed with the FTC and BBB.

Policy Number NMA100030407. Very poor communication skills in a world that works on computerized communications, the U.S. Mail went out with the pony express I had sent them my new debit card information weeks before my payment was due, they cancelled my auto insurance because the number didn't work, of course it was the old number, what's wrong with these people? They have my email address, a cancellation of a policy is very important, one has to have auto insurance to operate there car. I have a old 1992 chevy pick up truck, I drive my truck once a month to go to my mail box to pick up my mail, and to get food only. I go to my mail box first, (12/5/20) I did not continue to get food to live on. On the way to my mail box I passed quite a few state troopers and county sheriffs, their systems run plates automatically, my fear was getting pulled over, my truck impounded with my food and me left along the side of the road with a very expensive ticket in hand with no way to get back home, I am 65, my income is social security, I don't have the money to pay out for impound fee's and court cost-fines. I live out in the desert where there is no mail service. I have auto insurance for the purpose of registration and license plates only, state law. I use my truck for survival use only, I worry about this younger generation, when weed is legalized across the states, I might as well dig my own grave out here in the desert and lay down in it with my shovel I trust and wait.

Worst insurance company ever!! Took days for the adjuster to call me back, she lied about sending the check for the rental car. No one has came to look at my car, but they want to total it, take it to a "storage unit" to break it down? Without even talking to me first. I got a phone call saying they were coming to get it.
This company is a joke!! Very unprofessional. I'm only giving 1 star because I have to for it to post.

ADVICE: If you are dealing with a claim from a policy holder hitting you. Stand firm! Their reps will lie and try anything to not pay. Be patient and diligent. Over 2 months later and I got a fair outcome (hence the 2 stars.) They have independent sales offices across the nation and they do not like being responsible for the terrible practices of these tiny offices. Hallmark, themselves never return calls or emails and ignore everything. I hate to call out certain names (already listed by/in other reviews) but they are imbeciles. Go hard on them! Get fairness! We all pay insurance and when it's time to get reimbursed, TAKE IT. Don't let them take more from you.

First they didn t file the paper work for our DOT stating we had insurance which cost us a penalty of $250 plus reinstated cost of $100.
Then our Semi driver ran into the back of a car on the interstate.
Refused to pay what we insured the Truck for with their high premium.
It took them 3 weeks to contact us about our claim and when they did basically said here is the deal take it or leave it. The amount wasn t even enough to fix the truck.
Now they refuse to pay for the storage even though they said they would up to a certain date.
All they care about is money.

Their client hit my trailer, which then slammed into the back of my truck. Then he was arrested on DUI, and multiple other charges.
I called to speak with them about my claim. I was treated like I was a villain. They suggested that I use Junkyard parts for my truck. And because it's 17 years old, that they don't have to use new parts on my truck. Regina Janes is an incompetent piece of work, and the whole company is a sham.

Only good employee working at this company is Michael Douglas the claims Manager. Their policy holder ran a red light and t boned me. Thankfully I had a Dashcam cuz the first adjustor flat out said without proof he was going to take his policy holders word. Sent in the video and he claimed he couldn't open it. After calling every single day to ask where to send the video, he blocked my number!!! So I called his manger Michael who was awesome. He got all my evidence and approved my estimate within a few days. The the guy who issues the checks is awful too though. Didn't mail my check the first time so 2 weeks later my car is ready for pick up but I can't get it because he just now mailed the checks today. Not sure if the employees are told to drag out pay offs for as long as possible or if they really are just that stupid

They enjoy giving me the run around. I've called twice and sent emails to Adrian Sisk and never returned my calls to let me know what's going on. He likes to bable about how he does his job to avoid answering my questions or explains what's happening. Also he loves to cut me off while I'm talking to talk about what he thinks I was asking him. How can can Adrian Sisk answer a question if he hasn't heard what the question was??? Be ready for a battle with this company if you have to deal with them. It's time for me to get an attorney for the rear end accident that happened to me!

We dealt with Hallmark after their policy holder hit our car (and was at fault). After reading the reviews, we were pretty sure we were screwed. To our surprise, Hallmark handled our claim quite well. We were expecting a "catch" till the very end, but ended up being dealt with quite professionally from beginning to end. Maybe we were just lucky. They considered our car totaled, and we were sure that their settlement amount would be too low, and we'd have to fight it, but they ended up offering more than what we would have even agreed to. Everyone was polite and responded quite promptly. The staff members we worked with were Donovan, Kevin, and Alicia. I can't say it was perfect (e.g. we had to call them a couple of times to check on things), but it was nothing like most of the reviews on here say. Again, maybe we were just lucky. Or maybe they're working on improving their services. I waited until we got our check and deposited it to post this review, and I was skeptical till the very end, but our experience actually turned out to be a good one. I give them 5 stars, as I have no complaints.

I was hit by someone insured by them in September and here we are in December and my car hasn't been fixed. When trying to reach them they never answer even after leaving voicemails to call me back. They never came out to see the damage on my vehicle and I sent them pictures of all the damages and they sent me a check that doesn't even cover half of what the damage is. They dont answer calls from the shop or from me. Worst customer service.

Wow so I took my car to the shop the 17th of July and I'm still 35days later without a car it's fixed and ready to be picked up from the shop has been but Hallmark Insurance hasn't sent the check to the body shop. So here I am having to spend $12 a day for 35 days for an Uber on top of that my insurance has already gone up $70 from before and I'm still without a vehicle.

I was hit by someone who had their insurance (their fault) and it took them over a month to send an adjuster to the body shop to approve the work that needed to be done. I didn't have my car for 56 days for a sort of minor repair!!!! I still have not seen a check either..... TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got hit by a hallmark insured speeder one month ago and somehow miraculously finally got the check for the repairs.. that is of course after a million phone calls and emails. They are so hard to get a hold of because practically every call goes to voicemail, and their business hours are like 8am-4pm so if they dont answer within that time frame even if you call at different hours, you have to wait a whole day or two until they actually pick up. Anyways when I first got hit they asked me to send pictures of the accident and without even going to check out my car they sent me a $2,000 check based on the damage seen from the pictures. They also would only cover a 5 day rental car. 1 month later, I finally got them to send me the real check for repairs... $4,404 and am now trying to get my rental car reimbursement which lasted a heck of a lot more then 5 days mainly due to their negligence and delay. They also didn't pay the tow for my car to the repair shop. This place is terrible if I don't get my money soon I'm thinking about filing a lawsuit against this insurance.

Got hit from behind by policy holder a month ago. He was going 35 mph & used me as his brakes! I have had to make all the contacts to get things started. Can't get people to call me back or e-mail after the initial set of contacts. They owe me lots of money still. My car is almost ready for me to pick up after repairs & still no word as to when they're going to reimburse me the $5400--let alone my rental car money or my medical reimbursement! And when I first called, they had me send them a police report so they could "investigate" who was at fault because they said even tho the police determined since he slammed into me it was his fault, the agent said that's just the officer's opinion!!! Then they had ME take the wreck photos since they had no local appraiser here! I'm reporting this agency to the insurance commission if things aren't settled asap!

This is a company (which employees such people like Tiffany and Regina Janes) deserves to be recognized, I am thinking about moving my 3 cars to Hallmark just from what i saw of their great work.

If you have to deal with this company you better start a claim with your insurance company as wells as them. I'll repeat what everyone else has already said. They will never call you back or answer your calls. So you will have to file claims with the attorney general of texas, The better business bureau and Texas insurance commissioner. Then do the same with the state you are in. You are going to have the ride them into the sunset to get anything out of them. Don't cash any checks they send you. Force them to fix your car the right way. If you file with the attorney general office and insurance commissioner. You will see results in no time.

Horrible experience I was told my payment was $281 then it was raised to $381 without being notified. I found out when I attempted to pay my bill 48hrs early. I resubmitted paperwork they requested 48 hrs BEFORE my bill was due and they still will not drop the extra $100!!! Claiming it's too close due the due date?!?! Next month the bill will drop. 48 hrs isn't enough time to apply my discount?!?! Terrible experience all around the rep Kellie B. basically had nothing helpful to say and never responded to my email when I asked what my options were. This has to be the worst Insurance company on earth. They have been dragging my auto claim for 5 months. still not resolved. They will not return your call. I have been calling 3 times a week for the last month and sending emails with no response. Previous to that it took 8 weeks to respond to my weekly calls and emails. If you deal with Hallmark Ins. prepare to be ignored. Short of filing a lawsuit against them you will not even get to talk to a representative. Run the other way.

I have barely had auto insurance with this company for 3 months and already they are acting incompetent. I ve provided all they needed from the beginning I was given discounts which was taken the very next month. They can t keep the story straight. I ve had to fax, email and call them with the same info over and over because apparently they don t know what s going on and are completely unorganized. I ve talked to 5 different people each time. I just got a letter for non renewal under writing decision I ve never put in a bad review before and I ve never been so upset at a car insurance company and I ve dealt with a lot of bad ones. I will have to see them in person to make sure they do their job. All they kept asking for was proof that I m the only adult in my home. I provided my mortgage statement, pnm bill, my last insurance info, they said as long as mt insurance didn t lapse over 30 days I would get a discount. They another person said no that s not right. She said no to the discount because 2 weeks is too long. Fine whatever I ll pay more. Then they charged even more the next month after that, reason because I have other drivers in the house? What? It s just me in my house. I own it. I provided proof. Another agent says to write a document that states that and sign it and send it to her email. That was last month. Today I get the non renewal sent to me. Like what is going on over there. I dont have time for this nonsense. Who is sending these letters? What the heck is happening. Do they not read their emails??? I think getting insurance with them is a mistake. I couldn t imagine if I really needed them they couldn t even keep paperwork together let alone help with claims. Now after reading ALOT of bad reviews I m done with them.

ALERT ALERT....DO NOT GO WITH THEM!!! Shelly, Kelly, are rude and unprofessional.This is by far the worse auto insurance company ever!! I was hit from behind by someone that didn't have coverage (which he lied at the scene of the accident), but I have full coverage to protect me (under/uninsured).They are unethical, unprofessional and dishonest. My car has been in the shop for almost 3 months, and a month went without any return calls, emails to me or body shop. And they are trying to call it a 'total loss' when the car is repairable and both body shop told the same and far less the value (bumper repair for 7k). They are demanding I use only manufacture parts on my car, however, it's not required, and this is no longer under warranty, and is repairable and doesn't need manufacture parts. You can't force me to get Firestone tires (example). Body shop has told me they are trying to get over on you!! My car is worth far more than they are trying to give me or my lender. The kicker is my car repair is 20 times less than the so called 'total loss', value but they refuse to repair. They claim a 'to a year to get. No, that's not a total loss under the definition!!! Total loss means damage beyond repair or cost more to repair than the car value, and none is the case.

So, neither option they are giving me benefits me or repairs my car. I am still paying coverage and I have PIP and towing and they refused to tow and take up my medical injuries. Now, I am hiring an attorney. PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT GO with them!!! They are a scam and will try to take your car and devalue it. I will not sell my car to them or have them call it a loss when it can be repaired.

DO NOT USE HALLMARK INSURANCE!!!!!!!! I have been trying to cancel my policy since 12/4/15 because I was selling my van and moving out of state. I sold my van on 12/9/15. I received another bill and another payment was taken out in Dec. after I had thought my insurance was canceled because I signed the form on 12/4/15 to cancel it. I thought maybe it was just the last bill, although I was told by the agent, I was going to be refunded for the remaining part of the month. I let it slide. Then I received another bill in January and another payment was taken out of my account. I called and emailed again because this was a mistake. The 2 supervisors that looked at my policy now says I have to have proof that I sold my van.....OK did that.....then they say I have to have proof of when the purchaser got insurance on the van. THAT IS NOT MY PROBLEM. IT'S NOT MY VAN ANYMORE AND I CANCELED IT ON 12/4/15!!! but I even got that for them. So by this point I should have been refunded I believe like $7 but no! 2 full payments were taken out. Now I receive a letter in the mail with a $17.40 check and saying they canceled my policy as of 1/21/16. It should have been canceled 12/4/15!!! And at least the last 2 payments refunded wich was a bigger than usual difference in amounts one was $38.20 on 12/18/15 and $47.20 on 1/20/16. It may not be much to some but it's a lot to me. How many people are they stealing from?!

Worst company. Not just worst insurance company but worst all around company. Their insured back a Simi trailer into my van. They are denying it. This is my only vehicle and desperately need it fixed as I provide volunteer appointment rides for the elderly. I lost my cool when they lied saying their person didn't hit me. They did this because of lack of police report (parking lot accident) and because I have only liability through my insurance so my insurance will not fight for me. I have to call my lawyer and visit the police station now.
I recommend anyone that gets hit by one of their simi drivers call the D.O.T immediately.

My car was totaled by their client. I am now 16 days into my claim waiting for them to issue funds in my behalf, ive been the only one concerned about my loss. No one calls with updates I have had to make nearly every call about my loss in which it takes at least three calls before I might get ahold of someone. What is said and what is actually done is far from the truth. I have been lied to many times and will find every available place to leave a poor review I can. Stay away from these thoughtless crooks. Was told I'd be getting a call from someone to come look at my damages on my car in 24-48 hours. That was on 12/07/16.. It's Christmas eve now and I don't even have a call from a single person regarding my car. I wish i had never delt with this company. I am a rural mail carrier and have used many insurance companies in the past with no issues. I get a letter two months into my 6 month policy that they are terminating my coverage because of my occupation. Now i am told it could take upto 6 weeks for a refund!!!! They know the END DATE OF MY POLICY!! They had no problems with taking my money but are unwilling to promptly refund when THEY terminated the coverage! STAY AWAY, FAR FAR AWAY!!!

I would not recommend this company, I got into an accident about three weeks ago already, my car has just been sitting in my driveway waiting for them to contact us back, they don't call you, they never answer the phone, it always goes to voicemail. Once my car does get fixed (if it gets fixed) we are going to switch car insurance companies. I'm so upset with this company, it's unreal! ( also my car is brand new, just bought a month ago and I'm paying for a car I can't even drive, so ridiculous!)
We just recently got our "quote" on how much it's going to cost to fix my brand new 2018 300, mind you our deductible is 1000, they're giving us 1100 to fix my car and got the 100 check this weekend. This is a joke!

Very rude and unprofessional company. After 2 months my rate went from $137 to $268 a month , the reason is that some kind of discount was removed for no reason at all. I spent 2 hrs on the phone trying to get help and all of their employees were rude and not helpful at all. This company is a complete scam and waste of time and money. Horrible experience I was told my payment was $281 then it was raised to $381 without being notified. I found out when I attempted to pay my bill 48hrs early. I resubmitted paperwork they requested 48 hrs BEFORE my bill was due and they still will not drop the extra $100!!! Claiming it's too close due the due date?!?! Next month the bill will drop. 48 hrs isn't enough time to apply my discount?!?! Terrible experience all around the rep Kellie B. basically had nothing helpful to say and never responded to my email when I asked what my options were. I would NOT recommend this company. ***Follow up*** Yes my payment was adjusted after speaking with 5 different people and it was NO THANKS to Hallmark. It was all thanks to Zebra and my agent there. Received a notice from a New Hampshire collections company stating that they had repeatedly tried to contact me regarding my policy which they state has an owed amount for the last month's money owed on the insurance policy.

Hallmark Insurance Company in Plano, Texas had automatically cancelled when I went with another insurance company so the policy HAD ALREADY BEEN CANCELLED!!!

They then decided to report me to a collections company on the opposite side of the country, and never contacted my at all about my policy.

Insurance companies protect themselves by always cancelling a policy first, then you as the customer have to reinstate. This is why this letter from a collections company is totally ludicrous!

I would never recommend this company to anyone for any reason.
