I must say, been with HALL 3 weeks so far. hands down the best company I've worked for. I'm a senior heavy equipment operator and these guys/gals treat you with respect. they care about all their workers, they help you learn sites before being just thrown into a seat and not know anything about a site. you get an in depth walk through..ypu get to read thru drawings and really hand on help from supers and Forman.. Forman are also great no yelling and screaming just calm helpful guys.. I would recommend working here any day..pay is good as well..prove yourself..show up..and work hard and you will go places with HALL..5 stars!

Worst outfit I have ever encountered. The General Manager is deceitful and rude and the managers are just as bad. No loyalty or advancement unless your a relative or son of one of the Managers and most jobs are a disaster from the onset. Don t make a mistake and work here.

Great company to work for! Ownership and Senior Management are very supportive and have always encouraged both personal and career growth within the company. I've been here for over 6 years and couldn't imagine working anywhere else.

They started on the Ewen Ave revitalization project a fews years ago, completion date was Aug 2016 and its now July 2017, not even close to being done. Each end of the road has been closed off to traffic randomly causing traffic to have to go around which requires a ten minute detour. Because of them, the road is barely driveable, we have to keep swerving due to the repatched uneven road surface over the past six months while they did no work. Their heavy equipment was parked along the road side of the community center limiting it to one lane. One time while I was exiting the CC, the flag person waved me to ahead just as the foreman was also given the signal to enter, we almost got into a head on collision. The foreman was rude and angry, he threw his hands up in the air. Good grief, now they are back. Another summer of setting up the equipment and standing around. It will be another year of road closures and I already doubt they will finish this year.

One of the employees of this company just cut us off while speeding and almost caused an accident, the license plate is ke8256. I work with people who have been in serious accidents every day and the driver of this vehicle should be so ashamed of himself. MVAs are extremely serious and irresponsible drivers take peoples lives every day.

Doesanybody know if hall contractor is union or not ?

Come and see what they have done on Ewen Avenue, New West for two years! The project was supposed to be finished within 8 months. However, it is not even half done. In fact, even though sidewalk along the street was done one year ago it looks like it is 10 years old - all in cracks. They showed no respect to residents and do not care about rules and regulations. I even had an accident with that crap company. They damaged my brand new car and refused to pay for that. It does not even deserve one star. All people that gave 5 stars are extremely biased being employees or so. #HALLGOINHELL

Love working for this company, I have been here for 7 years and can see myself as a lifetime employee. The care this organization has for it's people is impressive.

I was in Shock at how bad this company is to work for. The managers are terrible and ruthless and you will have no value in this company unless your related to one of the Managers then your Golden. Worst company in my mind so stay away if your smart.

This company is a joke. When you ask employees to clean their unsafe worksite up at the end of the day because children live in the building they are working in front of they become argumentive and combative. I would recommend this company if you want to hire a company that's incompetent and loves to break work safe laws.

Room for advancement great wage long hours. You come to work to work. Safety culture is thought of first then production. I've been with hall 3.5 years as a senior heavy equipment operator I left to go east but now back in B.C. I'm back happily with hall as it is 1 of the industry leaders by far.......

The worst construction company I have ever seen. They can easily delay the projects. Managers as well as the most employers are not professionals. I saw them quite often redoing the same site multiply of times. Also you can find them spreading asphalt on a road under the heavy rain. In fact, I do not understand why our city hired them.

Really impressed by this civil contractor. What a great group to deal with.

6 months ago they absolutely destroyed the main road to my home installing a sewer-line for a new development and to this day they never bothered to come back and properly repave the road. These potholes have caused damage to my cars wheels and suspension and have caused a dangerous situation where cars and even the local transit are forced into the oncoming lane on a blind corner to avoid hitting the ever growing potholes. When I brought this matter up to the worksite foreman he kindly gave me the middle finger salute and told me to "F*** off". Most unprofessional company out there. Stay far away!
