they have to update their menu, more professional waiters and they need to do some revelation. place is becoming so ordinary.....

This was a very good dining experience! We had a reservation and were seated right away. We were greeted right away. There is a nice selection of menu items. Service was excellent. Food was delicious! Presentation was very good. Highly recommend it!

The food was good,the staff was attentive. They managed to make feel comfortable during my dining experience, while still being safe and responsible during this pandemic.

Celiac's friendly. Also manager and staff very polite and accommodating. Summer special of $ 69 Lobster and Steak great deal for two.

Great food great hospitality great customer service

If you have kids don't expect to be waited on. Had reservations for 7:30pm. Was seated and waited 30 minutes while the tables who sat after us were provided drinks and appetizers. At 8pm I left and was called by the restaurant two minutes later to inquire why. I was informed the waitress didn't realize she had a table - the restaurant wasn't even full. The water boys didn't fill our glasses until we asked.

Service and sushi are great! I go there frequently. Love the tornado and starr rolls.

Went to H2O to celebrate a 40th birthday ..Place is beautiful! Our waitress Jessica was friendly & attentive , she made sure our wine glasses were always filled. Stephen made sure our plates were cleared away before next dish arrived. The sushi was amazing! Sure & Turf so tender! Ron the manager greeted us kindly and made sure our experience was delightful. Keep up the great job H2O!

So, I loved this place, went every year for my girlfriends birthday for the past 3 years !! And was Not to pleased with the service waiter barely came around. The food looked good but my sword fish was dried out. Then when they bring out my girlfriends dessert they dont sing and the waiter doesnt even bring the dessert over himself usually they also gave out a gift card but didnt. Was Not the same experience specially for her birthday dinner.

Food was great, but it took forever to come. It turns out there was a mix up in the kitchen. It took 1 hour for it to come. Im sure this isnt a common thing at all but did put a damper on our birthday dinner

Happy Hour at the bar offers a great experience. The appetizers are very tasty and the wine-on-tap is surprisingly good.

Great place for drinks. Food & service are WAY overpriced & underwhelming. Enjoy the bar environment and then go eat someplace else.

My wife and I went of Friday night. She started with one of the signature cocktails which she loved. I had a Long Island Iced Tea that was really good. They start you out with really delicious popper bread. We had the octopus appetizer which was also really good. We also ordered a sushi roll which was just ok, but the entrees we both had were excellent. Service was exceptional and our waitress was attentive and helpful with suggestions. It s expensive, but everything was excellent.

I had the Hazelnut Parmesean crusted swordfish. It was out of this world! The fresh homemade popovers are the best. Very good lobster bisque. Very attentive and efficient service. Try it out for happy hour first which is very good and a great deal, and then if you have room go for dinner.

We love the East Islip location. A bit over pricey, but good food and good service.

Don't like the Smithtown location. (I would give them 3 stars at best.) Service and atmosphere is not as good - just our opinion, though.

We had New Year s Eve dinner at H2O for the second time. Just like last year the service was great. Our server Nick was courteous and super nice. He answered any questions we had and made some great dinner suggestions. We never felt rushed or pressured into getting our order in ASAP. Then the food was incredible. The lobster bisque and the clam chowder were both excellent. The calamari was perfect. I had Beef Wellington for the first time and it was so incredible. The tiger prawns and the filet mignon were equally good. Then the cinnamon donuts were to die for. All for a very reasonable price of $85 per person made for a very excellent New Year s Eve dinner again. We will definitely be back next year and probably 15 times in between.

this is the best seafood restaurant in suffolk. the sushi is great, rolls are great, seafood crepes are absolute must have. the king crab legs are the best anywhere.

Went here for happy hour while on business in the area. Decent beer and wine with good prices for happy hour and decent discounted food selection. Monkfish tacos were good and the lobster roll was amazing. Would visit again.

Nice restaurant but way overpriced. Food (Mahi Mahi and Seabass) was very good but very small portions. Lobster bisque was excellent but not worth $12 for a very shallow bowl. Valet only parking is annoying as I don t like waiting for my car when I can very easily get it myself. Overall, there are better restaurants more reasonably priced in the area. No need to overpay for a wannabe Manhattan style restaurant that isn t.

Were there with a large party, 100 people. Food was excellent, as was the ambiance. Service was slow, but we were quite a big group. Try it for dinner.

We just went back last night for the Wednesday wine dinner special that always gets me in this place! Unfortunately, I am beginning to see a decline in quality and quantity of food for a place that comes with a high price tag. 3 course meal started with salad (arugala with shaved almonds and five thin slices of strawberries) swordfish steak entree (steak wouldn't be a term I would use for the medallion like portion) and "dessert" ... cheese and melba toast?? That's how you Begin a meal, not end it. Dissapointing. They also don't offer brown rice on any of their sushi rolls. With the 2 gigantic plastic fish hanging in the dining room, even the beautiful atmosphere can't bring me back to this place. I am officially done with H2O.

The food here has always been great each time I've come, especially their steaks. Service comes at a good pace, and the staff have consistently been very nice as well.

Terrible experience...I took my daughter out for dinner, very disappointing.
The service was extremely slow. I order a steak medium. After waiting for over 40 minutes the steak came out dry and well done. I returned it waited 20 minutes more no sign of our waitress for the new order to come out. The manager noticed I was getting annoyed and came to the table to tell that they were just finishing it up. I was done I told him to keep it and asked for my check. We will not be going there again!

Instagram lied to me. Definitely looks like a Red Lobster with white walls. It's pretty awesome when your food comes out cold, the manager acknowledges it and makes you pay the full bill. But at least Joseph was legit. First and last time for me.

Fresh fish. Menu changes with the seasons. Attentive wait staff. Great wine selection.

Had 2 very good evenings here. The sushi was very fresh and prepared correctly. We ordered the filet Wellington which was baked perfectly. The service was excellent. My only comment would be more fresh fish options. The menu has plenty of shell fish choices but can use a few more fish options to round out the menu.

WAS AT H2O TONIGHT. DINNER WAS VERY GOOD EXCEPT WE WERE VERY DISAPPOINTED BECAUSE WE WERE NOT OFFERED THE POPOVERS THAT WE LOVED. WE COULD HAVE PURCHASED THEM AT $9 FOR 3. WE WERE NOT OFFERED ANY BREAD TO REPLACE THE POPOVERS. DON'T THINK WE WILL B RETURNING TO H2O. VERY SAD ABOUT THAT.

This is a great bar and restaurant more of a up scale feel with great decorations. 100% great service they go out of there way to make sure everything is perfect! I will be back.

Way too expensive for the quality of the food. There are places that are much better food and better prices. Dont wast your time. There is a nice little place in kings park on the corner of pulaski and main st that blows them out of the h2o.

Horrible experience! My husband and I walked in at 4:30 pm. Hostess said they don t open until 5:00 but would ask the chef if they would accommodate us. She proceeded to seat us. 10 minutes later the manager walked to our table and was to say the least, very rude! He introduced himself as the guy who runs the place and even used the phrase we don t roll like that here . I really felt like I was on the set of a bad sopranos remake! We will never go back!!!!!

Thought the second course should have been labeled sushi.I have never seen just soup for the first course.some very hot wasabi.why is it 30$ more after 6pm

To start you receive a magical fresh bread just baked. Sushi was fresh, hot saki was smooth and the wellington was butter!

First time there and the food and service was absolutely amazing ! Definitely will go again. We had the surf and turf for 2, everything was cooked perfect. We have shrimp empanadas and the volcano sushi roll it was to die for !! Even down to the drinks! Our server was Dominic and he was great very nice. Definitely recommend this place for everyone to try ! Worth every penny :)
