Spectacular decor and French Belle Epoque sophistication at its best. Recommended even if only for a drink or snack. Several outdoor seating areas may be a little noisy for intimate conversation, otherwise great for enjoying sun.

#LetsGuide a beautiful house with a great stylish interior. Luxury with charm. The service is very good, which is typical of the region. Nice unobtrusive staff who tried to make your stay as pleasant as possible without invading your privacy.
Very chic & luxury hotel with a 5 stars service. the room is decorated by a transitional french style where the romance is in the air. Every night is like a fairytale.
Very nice 5 star hotel. Well placed, spacious room with a dressing room, very well decorated, top-notch staff. Well deserves its reputation. PS: 100 in the room rate is an internal credit, I recommend going to the hotel restaurant, where you can have a lobster for 60 + another good dish by their chef with a tricolor collar. Basically, this dinner was included in the room rate.
The essential address in Nice, a stay in our beautiful city is incomplete if it does not include a stop at this establishment. Of course the prices are proportional to the location and the members of the staff. I never had the curiosity to sleep there; pay 1200 to sleep 500 meters from my home, the partner should really have unmentionable and unforgettable qualities. But I tested the Rotonde, the Chantecler and the reception rooms with always the same feeling shared between the pleasure of participating modestly in the maintenance of a still independent house which carries high the colors of the French hotel industry, but also the reservation to tell me that this pleasure is really expensive paid. Do not miss the toilets on the ground floor, hidden under the tent of a Marshal of the Empire for men, and huddled for these ladies in a horrible pink kitchissime cocoon, at least until the last few months when a decoration in the English style, more sober, has raised the level.
To spend a moment out of time in a very baroque decor with beautiful woodwork, the bar has a very well stocked cocktail menu, all tasty; taken at the height of this emblematic place of the city of Nice
We stayed in a 4th floor corner room with absolitely amazing views of the coast. Our room had a walk-in closet with a safe and a bathroom witha seperate water closet. The room was ultra posh and restored to the origi al finishes when the building was constructed.
The staff was very attentive, there is a 2-star Michelin restaraunt on the ground floor, and the breakfast spread was our best in Europe.
This is an exciting eccentric restaurant from the inside, and it is equally as beautiful outside on the terrasse during summer. The food was delicious and the staff was outstandingly nice and friendly. I would definitely go back!
Hotel is literally a art gallery. corridors are filled with paintings and vintage furnitures. But I adjusted many paintings while I walked by, many were tilted.
The room is very spacious, bathroom is thoughtfully designed. Vividly colors.
The service is nice, but maybe because too many guests at lobby, the service there is not impressive, one thing I dislike the most is nobody helps us with doors, especially when we were with suitcases; not mention the few stairs in front of entrance, it s almost expected that someone helps a lady with suitcase when many staff were just standing around.
La Rotonde NEGRESCO, a mythical place where the carousel of wooden horses is no longer, which is a shame because the attraction was magnificent! A very tasteful gold interior decor and a beautiful terrace. Chef Virginie BASSELOT has great merit, but she is still far from equaling Anne.-Sophie PIC where I had lunch last Monday. The fresh crab cannelloni is wonderful, on the other hand Toine's chicken was a big disappointment, undercooked tagliatelle and the slightly tough chicken would have been happy to be spicier, I felt like I found myself in the army canteen! I would not stay on a negative note, and I will be back on August 24 for my birthday where I hope I will be filled and delighted. Very good service and mention to Belinda who was very good advice. Looking forward to a next gastronomic visit. Sincerely, Dennis GIOFFREDO
A stay is an experience that unfortunately I did not allow myself to live personally, but I had the opportunity to talk to people very close and who told me in great detail about this hotel, of which we can be proud in the way ours, because it was imagined and created by a Romanian.
We stayed a weekend at the Negresco with my husband for Valentine's Day this year and it was magical. The first room assigned did not suit us in terms of decoration and too modern style, so we asked to change to a much more classic style room as we like at the Negresco.
Breakfast is just what you need, nothing more and nothing less than the essentials of a good meal with some gluten-free and organic elements. Vegan foods would not be a refusal for us who avoid dairy or animal products.
The setting was idyllic with the 4 floors if I am not mistaken, works of art from the personal collection of our deceased but nevertheless unforgettable Madame AUGIER. Rest in peace. The book of his life traces the journey of a sincere couple, outgoing, full of ambition to defend and fight for their convictions and the French heritage.
We loved this place full of history, the sumptuous setting, the dedicated staff ... Oops, with the exception of a deplorable altercation which took place on Sunday February 16, 2020 at the end of breakfast at the restaurant La Rotonde with a room manager I imagine and his employees, who obviously had planned going on break almost all at the same time at 12 noon without enough staff left to receive future clients. We found it a shame to settle accounts or to develop their organization in front of the few clients that remained but above all with a way of expressing themselves between them which is not at all correct towards us. clients. Of course, differences of opinion or their logistical problem must be restrictive and complicated to manage, but at our level, we do not have to go through this. So that was the small negative point of the experience.
Otherwise our dinner at Chantecler was worthy of its 2 stars and its reputation.
To sum up our stay ... we will definitely be back ...
One floor was under renovation and we hope that the modernization of the rooms will not lose this authentic side so dear to the Negresco style and to the memory of Madame AUGIER's work ... The finishes of the place sometimes have to be redone but the maintenance work must be so colossal that we can excuse some worries of detail of this 5-star establishment ...
This Magic and magical place of the French Riviera and one of its pillars in luxury hotels at the same time timeless with its history and its luxurious suites at the limit Royal and incredible, always present and fabulous.
I've truly enjoyed my stay at Le Negresco Hotel. The history of the hotel is amazing! I've enjoyed visiting the different floors looking at the over 6000-piece art collection. The restaurants are delicious and the service from the staff is first class. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable and the quick access to the beach (it's across the street guys!) was just another plus!! I would definitely recommend Le Negresco to anyone visiting Nice!!
Mythical hotel on the Promenade des Anglais. It is no longer possible to visit it today for understandable security concerns. On the other hand, if you consume at the hotel bar, you become, in a way, a hotel guest. You will be able to admire at your leisure the marvelous fittings, furniture, lighting of this unique establishment.
Gentlemen, the elite ... Strolling through the hall is something magical .. Great coffee, beautiful lounge bar. Magic baths with sculptures at the front door. Statues and paintings everywhere .. 2 Michelin star restaurant. Driver parks the car ... you leave the keys at the entrance ... Polite and courteous staff.
We had an excellent stay at the Necresgo, the hotel is unique in the world, decoration, sculptures, paintings of an exquisite taste. Our room was cozy. The staff are lovely and very professional. We have decided to go back every year.
We do not present the Negresco, it is a monument! Do not miss the tour of the Rotonde and its works of art as well as the toilets for the least original! A bonus for the La Rotonde restaurant and its outdated decor.
Life in this hotel is like a night in a museum. If you want to spend the night among the exhibits, this is the place. Antique furniture, every hallway is like an art gallery. However, finding an outlet in the room to charge the phone is not always a trivial task - a historic building with all the ensuing consequences. The room was not ready for our arrival, there was a delay in settling for half an hour.
I am rather a good crowd in general, I had two New Years Eve at the Negresco, I find it difficult to be more pompous after we are in a palace so it's obviously not bad!
My husband and I recently stayed at Hotel Negresco for 2 nights and had a great stay. My daughter arranged our visit as part of our 30th wedding anniversary. What an amazing art collection and old school hotel right on the ocean front. We stopped to take in the beauty on every floor after we checked in.We arrived at the hotel and they gave us a beautiful upgrade to a suite overlooking the Mediterranean. They dropped off rose pedals on our pillows, left complimentary wine and a beautiful sweets tray. The concierge s was wonderful and gave us awesome restaurant recommendations. The hotel was centrally located. We had an amazing stay. We happened to be there during the French marathon. We had left our windows open over our SAT evening, and we woke up to thousands of runners under our window. Very memorable stay. Andrea and Chris McDonagh from Montclair, New Jersey
Inaugurated in 1912, the Negresco is one of the most prestigious hotels on the French Riviera. From the Royal suite, through the Coco Chanel suite, this veritable hotel-museum, decorated by Madame Augier, displays invaluable works, most of which would have their place in the greatest museums in the world.
A beautifully historic building, very interesting, almost a museum retro interior with art objects. The service is absolutely non-client-oriented. My friend had a wedding in August. First they lost her boudoir dressing gown. At the time of the morning preparations, they came in very obsessively 3 times to warn that she needed to leave the room at 11:00 (instead of 12:00 by prior arrangement for a late check out for the wedding). The bill included the same laundry service twice, just for the same boudoir robe. The hotel does not correspond to its money and class.
Pretty from all perspectives. The building is magnificent and offers you a breathtaking view of the resplendent Mediterranean sea. The establishment and the staff offer you impeccable service. Everything is neat and tidy. The restaurant offers exceptional meals. I love and recommend to any tourist who has not
