It is not the first time that I sleep in this hotel and I am always so satisfied. I arrived late, there was a small problem in my room and they upgraded me, in the morning I was leaving very early and despite the fact that I had not warned them, in the morning they made sure to open the breakfast earlier so I can have it. Nothing to say my (short) stay was impeccable!
The two people I saw were perfect!

Attempted scam by asking if we wanted the note before giving the price. The waiters billed us for an undue bottle of 33 euros, after having looked down on us when we asked for the details of the bill ...

Delicious with great prices in relaxed atmosphere. These are not tourist trap traps, but an authentic Parisian environment.

How not to rush to Edgar when the sun comes out. Their terrace is just magic. In addition the dishes are very good. At noon or in the evening, this place is very pleasant. Only detail, pre-do a little in advance because you will not be alone at the scene.

We are delighted with the choice of the hotel Edgar for our holidays in Paris. Original place and cocoon
on a nice little place. Very nice room, the restaurant ... Top! with a lounge atmosphere. We were very well received by friendly and smiling people and highly recommend this hotel.

Although I did not stay at the hotel, I used a Sunday brunch. If you make a reservation early, there will be no congestion and it will be a casual spot. On the weekend brunch, you can make a choice of mains and desserts, with freshly squeezed orange juice and espresso. The staff feels good and the food is delicious. There is also a terrace seat and I think it's cozy.

This hotel is great, very well located in Paris and the restaurant is super nice and super good. I highly recommend.

A very beautiful place, with its very beautiful terrace overlooking a small square. The dining room is very well decorated, in blue and gold, which offers a warm atmosphere instead. However, I found the food to be expensive! Some dishes are to be shared and yet they are not necessarily easy dishes to share. The food is correct but nothing more, some dishes are good, others very disappointing ... the service is impeccable and very efficient! I am therefore disappointed with the food and the price. I would come back so maybe just for a drink!

Great location! Cool room design - each one is totally different. Good breakfast. The eating area turn into a bar at the evening and night. Close to bars, restaurants, supermarket, food markets and a lot of other famous attractions and places in Paris.

I didn't want to share anything because I wanted to keep this place for myself only... but since Paris is far far away for me... I will share my secret favorite hotel.

Dammm nice cozy place with some added style. The hotel, especially the restaurant, seems to be naturally integrated with the neighborhood; you will see many locals hanging out. If you like this local integrated feeling you will love this place. I also have to mention the friendly talkative staff makes you feel like you are a part of the neighborhood.

A sure value summer and winter: pleasant terrace, decor of the top room, very attentive and relaxed staff without ever seem overwhelmed despite the world. The dishes are always excellent (black pudding and chocolate scum are to die for) and the prices are very good for the neighborhood.

No logic from the establishment regarding the reservation system for the restaurant.
I call the restaurant for a reservation on the terrace and hear myself say that the place does not take reservations outside and that it makes me try my luck to get a table outside by going there, yes!
I go there. I arrive, terrace barely 40% honored.
I ask for an outside table from the manager who comes to you (2 place settings) and the manager informs me that he has no free table but that we can dine inside despite not having a reservation. So I retort that my wish is to have dinner OUTSIDE and that I do not understand his refusal given the POSSIBLE NO RESERVATION outside and the tables available immediately.
I hear myself say, while stammering, that the "privilege" on the terrace is intended for people who make a prior reservation inside and who ultimately decide to dine on the terrace! Amazing !!
Message to management and in particular to this manager whose first name I do not know and who obviously does not understand the illogicality of his process:
NO Mr. manager, who prides himself on being in the establishment for x years and rightly honoring the customers who have booked inside to ultimately decide to dine on the outdoor terrace to the detriment of those who respect your rules which do not hold up by coming on site and trying to get a free table, you are obviously not made for this job.
You have no sense of service! Your rules are inconceivable and dictated by the little power you wrongly grant yourself! Meaning and quality of service is not that. Review your reservation system and most importantly, in the future, when a client puts your mistake in front of you, avoid screwing up! Because when you deliver reasoning that doesn't hold up, you'd better believe it! Ultimately, convince yourself, it could have its effect, who knows?

We had a great evening. Everything was impeccable, the food excellent and the staff lovely. You are at the top

quite good, very fresh (league cevice, tuna carpaccio, very good burrata ...), without being exceptional either. But the terrace is very pleasant and the service friendly (this should be normal but it is becoming remarkable ...). The desserts were very good however!

Good restaurant with a great and quiet terrasse if weather allows. very fresh food. One of the places in paris where you an have good and fresh fish/ sea food. + they have very beautiful hotel rooms, each of them having been designed by a different person.

A very comfortable and conveniently located hotel perched atop a bustling restaurant of the same name.
The service was without fault and the room, though small, was cleaned, decorated and maintained well.
I only wish they had a small fridge/minibar in the rooms - these do come in handy more often than not. Especially when you re in a city with so much lovely food and drink!

It's the fair at the chopper, the machines in the kitchen, and I don't know what else that gives the effect of being in a construction site ... too bad when you have a professional appointment.
But otherwise the place is nice, the waiters stylish, and the toilets smell like a silent: therefore all good for a bar in the 2nd arrondissement.

It is very nice to stay at Edgar, hotel-restaurant in the decor very cozy and current (to hear, Scandinavian 50s). The catch of the day is very good, salmon and octopus are perfectly cooked. The accompaniments (lentils, fries, mashed carrots ...) have taste and are more than just "accompaniments" precisely. For dessert, pineapple salad and caramel chocolate foam make it possible to finish in style ... and to fill up a little more stomach, because, let's face it, the quantities are not huge. The service seems to be a little overwhelmed as soon as there are a few people. It's a shame, but the waiter offered us the desserts to be forgiven for the long wait, which is frankly nice. The terrace, in a quiet place, is just perfect when the sun comes out. Count between 15 and 22 for the dishes, between 7 and 12 (gourmet tea) for the desserts.

I had some good food there at the restaurant. It was late but they served me anyway. Place is comfy and quiet . I suggest it

Loved this little cosy hotel, with stylish room deco and very cool restaurant downstairs. The staff is ultraattentive, the food was supergood.

Only minor drawback for me: i was in the last floor so the window wouldn't open.
