Would not let me give it zero stars, had to give it one. We went for the Apple festival which only had one thing to do with apples. It cost us $16 a person because we were not Gwinnett county residence, would have been $8 if we were. It was a Big waste of our time and a very Big disappointment. We will never go back.

Good

Didnt k ow this place existed until we had to visit. It was one of the tezting sites for my kids that are home schooled. Cool place to learn. I did see that schools had field trips here. They also have some summer camps for kids of all ages. Nice and clean facility.

Ecologically and environmentally innovative.Great place for field trips and summer camp. It a large auditorium/ballroom facility available for rentals that holds a few hundred guest with chairs.

I love coming here. Beautiful paved trails through the woods, some very steep, make for a great challenging walk when you are pushing a stroller. Could use better signage. There was a map display up by the ropes course that I did not find until my 3rd visit. The environmental center is very cool, both inside and out. Love the stream that runs behind the center. Saw wedding pictures being taken there. Great place also for family photo opp.

Our family have been members at the GEHC for a number of years and we always find something new to do there. If you're local, the membership is highly recommended so you can take advantage of all the programs and events. Highlights are the Honeybee Festival, Creatures of the Night and the night hikes. My kids have also gone to the camps, which they love.

I really liked this place, but there are so many things out of order or missing or not working. Maybe because it's free now? The trails are nice and we found the dinosaurs. Ask at the visitor center for a trail map. The lady at the desk was so kind enough to mark the map where we could find them.

How come I haven't been here sooner!?!? It's beautiful! They had a really awesome dinosaur exhibit in the munchkins really enjoyed it as well as the grown-ups. What a really spectacular water play area to teach kids about water conservation as well. And the outside is just glorious! I will be taking my walks and runs here as often as I can. It's free! If you're a Gwinnett County resident the exhibits inside our as well. They have a green roof and a beautiful water feature out front with several ponds that have live Turtles and frogs and koi fish in abundance. This is just a beautiful and Serene setting to visit, we will be back!

Grew up going here because I live down the road. I don't mind the place, it's super pretty, but too be a park they sure do cut down a lot of trees. They keep adding onto it with new trails idk just too much and not enough "nature."

Ok

Do not get married here! It is a beautiful place but keep your money. They nickel and dime you to death. They were an hour late opening the doors for us to set up and all the tables and chairs were not even put out like they promised they would be. Putting us way behind. On top of that they started cleaning up when we had 2 hours left so guests started leaving thinking the reception was over. We were not able to dance let alone have our first dance in front of our loved ones. I hate that I missed out on that and I will never get that back. Also, on a side note if you plan on having alcohol even wine be prepared to shell out $35 an hour totaling $350 or more for a security. Take it from me and find a different venue.

Great spot for one of our preschool co-ops' weekly field trip. The kids enjoyed strolling through the museum and they loved playing in the water room!! Then we "hiked" around outside before eating our picnic lunch. And the best part is that it was all free!

Attended the center for a Kindergarten field trip....it was great! My 5 yr old daughter loved it. We walked a trail in the nearby woods. We had a tour guide for our exlporation... The kids learned about different types of trees not to eat anything out of the woods. They were able to stop and dig up the dirt to what they could fine. This Center also has zip lines and treetop rope obstacles......Its definitely a place to bring the family on a nice fall Saturday afternoon! There is a cover charge to attend...

Love this place! I like to use it as an activating activity for weather systems in my classroom. They always have excellent teachers there that get the kids started in the right direction.

Both the tour of the woods and building was great, the tour guide was also very knowledgeable when she explained how watershed worked and how the main building was made out of various recycled parts. On top of that the Treetop Quest was amazing especially the various ziplines they had. Overall our class had a great time over there and you would be putting your money to good use.

It was wayyyyyyyy too boring my cousins went there and had no fun and it was meant to be a field trip. They HATE it. The guide was talking and asking too many questions. And there was a risk of bears and snakes. They HATED it. This place actually deserves no stars but I am being kind. No snacks were allowed so my cousins were really hungry. This forest was sort of like a cliff so there was a danger of falling off.

Such an amazing place for all types who are looking for a good education on the wonders of nature in our area. We took our students here in a field trip and they loved the scavenger hunt! We will be returning again!

If you are looking for a fun place to walk or entertain the little ones, you will like this place. There are lots of paved trails. The exhibits indoors are free and fun for the kids. Also there is some interesting stuff if you are into history. Don't forget to walk around the restored local homestead located on the property.

Traveled the trails that connect with the Ivy Creek Green way, as always the main trails are well kept and beautiful. The only noticeable issue is that the creeks in the area do contain some amounts of trash.
