The GEHC is an amazing experience! I've worked there for over three years and saw thousands of ecstatic kids interacting with their exhibits. It is a fun place to take your kids to, a good venue place and the park with balanced trails complete the GEHC culture.

I visited this place for a wedding. Did not get the scope to explore the entire area. Likes the place. Big parking lot. Nice lobby, good hall. Restrooms are nice and well maintained. It s very good place for any function like wedding reception or any other formal party. I just wish there be more light inside the hall.

This is my go to spot for walks when the weather is good. They have nice trials and a few that are good to walk when you are feeling adventurous. There are a couple thought that I think should be better labeled and done to make it easier to walk on. Other then that I love this place

What a jewel to have as part of the community. The sodded roofs with grasses and wild flowers sets the stage to open your mind to the power of doing things more ecologically sustainable. The dinasour event open to the public was great fun with the kiddos.

On this day I was more about visiting the trails than visiting the Environmental Center, but the Environmental Center is good, too. The trails around the Center are beautiful. There are the main paved trails and then dozens of little side trails all over the place. I didn't explore all of the trails, but I will definitely be back for more!

What a gem in Gwinnett County! We got gift passes for Christmas and were very pleased with the experience. They have a water exhibit and "Blue Planet" movie inside; both are great for kids and adults of all ages. There is also a rotating exhibit room. We saw the interactive electricity exhibit and really enjoyed it. Educator was available to answer any questions and do crafts with the kids. Looking forward to visiting in warmer weather so we can explore the miles of walking trails! We are lucky to have this in bustling Gwinnett!

Such a beautiful and perfect wedding venue! It was affordable and the parking lot was so convenient for traveling guests. The outside of the building and greenery made for gorgeous pictures. The inside looked great as well! While I was eating my dinner, I took a moment and looked around and the room and it looked so nice! The greenery seen outside the windows was so pretty and made the room look bigger and brighter in the best way! The staff was very helpful and informed in the planning process and worked with me along the way to make everything perfect!

My son's wedding was here and the venue transformed into a beautiful oasis of love for this blessed event! The entire center inside and out is an amazing place to visit! You won't be disappointed.

Decent hiking for people with limited mobility or parents with a stroller. However, the wide, paved path means less shade. Also, the fire ants were swarming and actually climbing our shoes and socks. I dont mean in one location; I mean over 70% of the trail. 3-stars because of the ants.

A fantastically maintained, paved walkway stretching for miles, following an urban river with several artificial features that blend right in to the natural rock formations. A very nice experience.

If you love finding a seemingly hidden gem in the wilderness, this is a good spot. It has a real dialogue with the surrounding woods that blends architecture with nature. Being educational makes it one of my favorites as well. I stumbled across it on a running trail. Great experience :)

What a lovely place for a wedding! My cousin had a wedding there which at first seemed to be an unusual place for a wedding! Lol! However the location was perfect there was an area for the actual ceremony and then a separate area for the reception. They had an electronic welcome sign with their name on it...... the star feature at this location was the indoor waterfall equipped with lighting to display their monogram! Wow! This is the perfect wedding venue for a small two medium-sized wedding!

Went on a tour with a first grade field trip. Our guide Ms. Sherry was very attentive and fun for the kids. The facility is very organized and has lots of opportunities to learn about new things.

The property is beautiful with great trails. I have been there for an event and my daughter's school has used the location for end of grade testing. They offer summer camps for kids and other activities that are great to learn about the environment. The learning center is full of great information about Gwinnett and North Georgia history.

Great place to explore nature, but I had a rather haunting experience at the old house they recently moved to their grounds. I encountered a spirit/ghost yelling POGGERS! at me. I have no clue what that means.. I guess it s a slur from the 1800s.

Worse place ever to take pictures called and they said it would perfect a wedding was just finished and we got the permission to take pictures. We walked around to take pictures and was told to leave because the wedding party was exiting.Go someone where the isbetter management, they gave us permission on site and then we where denied. Paid a professional photographer to use tax payer money property (public property just to be turned away) don't use this facility. And that wedding party was drinking alcohol and smoking in the parking lot in front a lot of teenagers celebrating homecoming. In a smoke free facility.

We went in mid-January so a lot of the trails and Canopy Tours were closed down. Still really cool, free thing to do. Learn a lot about Georgia agricultural history and they had a Coney Island Circa 1940 attraction which was cool. We will be back in the spring

Fantastic variety of walking trails, bit of elevation change should you choose it, and a LOT of squirrels. Just remember to pay attention to the maps and where you've parked, as these trails go pretty deep in different directions.

For new residents and visitors: I would not recommend starting later into the evening, as it may get dark before you make your way back. The park goes by a water treatment facility, under a major highway and interstate, and by a LOT of apartment communities.

Will add reviews later if go to other parts of the facility.

Cool place with beautiful views and awesome architecture. Wonderful walking paths with access to the ivy creek greenway. Kids loved it and there's a high ropes course nearby but it isn't cheap. Walk the paths and get off electronics. You'll be happier for it.
