We've been to the treetop quest over there before but I've never been over to the Environmental Heritage Center. My kids enjoyed hunting for the dinosaurs out on the trails and there were even costumes for them to dress up then sit on the dinosaur nest. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They've just changed pricing (I think they said in September) to free for Gwinnett residence. The environmental side had cool experiments that kept both a 7 year old and a 3 year old entertained for almost an hour. They have more stuff coming soon and I can't wait to see what they do with it. I would post more pictures but I don't post pictures of my kids and I wouldn't want to spoil the surprises if you're able to make it out for this display.

Some of the prettiest views in all of Gwinnett. This is by far the best place for running, relaxing, taking nice photos or even going on giant ropes courses and zip lining above trees. This place has something for everyone and rightly so considering how large it is. I absolutely love it here

Didn't get here in time to make use of the museum services, but enjoyed a nice walk looking at the grounds and the outside of the main building. Nice for a walk or jog when you need a change of scenery and some fresh air.

By far the best place I've ever known to take a trip time whenever in need of some uninterrupted peace, serenity and if course the majestic beauty that this wonderful and family-friendly destination possesses.

We had our annual fundraising event for the Northeast Georgia Chapter of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation here last night. The accommodations were fantastic but aside from that, the offerings of this facility are really educational and REALLY fun. It's a fairly friendly environment that is entertaining and can be a great teaching tool for the kids (and adults) without even realizing that you are learning.

Great trail to hike for kids. Staff was rather rude for a moment on the rope course.
We weren t even using the course which is the crazy thing. The course did look nice though. Forgive and forget I guess.

I took field trips here as a middle schooler and it was under construction at that point now it is so cool! They have a giant room full weather related things like the phases of water and how its filtered and cleaned. They also have walking trails and exploration paths through the woods you can walk and the kids love!

We had a church event here and the space had a nice nature view of the outside. The screen used for our presentation was AMAZING - clear and huge! I would definitely recommend hosting an event here.

I used to come to the summer class when I was younger, and I still come here often to take pictures and to just walk around and enjoy nature. The area is gorgeous and there is so much to see and that s just walking around.

I love this place. To begin with, if have or you're with a kid, they'll love the little museum in the center itself and the playground. Otherwise, there is a nice paved trail behind the center which leads to a stream and suspension bridge, after which there's about a mile of dirt trails.

It's a great option if you want to go on a hike but can't make it up to north Georgia.

My entire family loves this place. The heritage center is an environmentally focused museum and it's nice. But, it has great summer camps for kids, it's a trail head for a great mountain bike or hiking trail for families with younger children and it has a awesome zipline course and a suspended ewok village in the trees the kids love, that's called spider quest. We have had many trips here and birthday parties as well. Everyone always loves it.

Me and my thirteen (13) year old son drove up for the Gwinnett Environmental & Heritage Center's "A Night at the Museum" . The staff and volunteers did an amazing job having Madame Marie Curie, Ben Franklin, Eli Whitney, and John James Audubon, among others greeted guests in period attire and introduced tgemselves as well as their life's work to guests. This is a really cool place. Great exhibits, trails, and workshops. Thank you GEHC!
