The owner of our favorite local furniture store recommended Gus and took us on a walk through the showroom to introduce us to this company. We loved the Truss Chair and ordered a pair for our living room. They arrived today and we couldn't be happier!

Quite literally the worst chairs I have ever owned. I had four of them, and each broke in various ways within 3 months. One of them, the seat detached from the metal bar upholding the seat, and I was quite literally almost impaled. I cannot possibly speak worse about Gus Design Chairs
I have terrible experience with this company . I was looking for Queen Bed I saw in gussying website after research how I can buy. close d the are I I've Toronto . I found the UP Country I called and spoke David if have in stock . He said yes me I drive Saturday 17 Aug there the same day . I purchase Queen size white bed pay full by crerdicard . I ask before if can storage the bed because I moving in September 1 . He said was fine he have two in storage just call him and will delivery. Suddenly we call this week in 3 Sep to arrangement the delivery First surprise he said I need to call the company to set up the delivery and second surprise I need pay $175 . He never told us finally we decide agree go further we set the delivery for yesterday . The delivery company bring the BED but not surprise the was king . We call David he said sorry I sent wrong bed .Will arrange the delivery until Friday. Today we call to update the situation he said dent have bed avalaible and not be able to delivery he said just cancel the order . So hHOW BAD this Company represent the GUS have terrible, unprofessional man name David doing the customer service in the name the company. He a lier because the day we purchase he said we have two in stock , he probably split . Also after already had our order pay ? As well I try contact GUS today nobody answer any the extension poor customer service It's very disappoint and aggravate as customer my time consumer since buy and now and I don't have the Bed Shame David Up county very umproffesional I just lend there because GUS referral by the website
We discovered this company at Style Garage furniture on Ossington. Loved the designs and the staff showed us a few options for a couch. We chose one that went with our other furniture. We ve had our GUS couch for about a year now and still love it. Highly recommend if you like a modern look.
We've had many pieces (two single chairs, king sized bed, sofa, size table) from Gus over the years and have been extremely satisfied with their items and service. If you're looking for mid-century tastefully designed and built with quality, I would highly recommend Gus furniture.
I don t make a habit of returning or complaining about products I have purchased, when I spend top dollar for quality I expect these things to last and new clever ideas like this to be tested. After purchasing a new design of a sofa (the Flipside Sofabed) that folds out to a bed in initial launch of the product the lack of support that most sofas have proved a fatal flaw. The folded cushion does not last and the foam has sagged where it is most convenient to sit. The sofa is now uneven and very uncomfortable to sit on. When I complained to Peter of Style Garage he was rude and defensive. Not even seeing the sofa or coming to see it for himself he just made a decision that my claims were not valid. I tried again recently and was told by the customer service representative that I should get a re upholsterer to redo the foam. Pretty funny that now I should get it reupholstered re-stuffed. Once again, product flawed, customer service poor, and cost high. Stick with a reputable supplier with better customer service.
My husband and I were searching all over for a sofa that would fit in a specific window space. We were on the hunt for something sleek, firm and with a high back for extra comfort. We found all that in the 72" Carmichael sofa from Gus! We love the sofa and are happy with the fit and how it looks in our space. It's very comfortable!
Gus Design Group is a gem! We bought a gorgeous Jane BiSectional in 2011, and have loved it! We recently had a few springs break, and I reached out to see about a warranty. The store I bought it at in Los Angeles went all on line, wouldn t answer the customer service lady s call, so they couldn t easily prove I bought it there, and I no longer had the receipt. Amy, the woman I was put in contact with, stuck with me and exchanged like 13 emails in an attempt to find out which purchase order it was, and if indeed the springs were covered under warranty. In the end, she figured out that I was within the 10 year warranty, and advised me to call an authorized dealer in my area to have it repaired! The customer service Amy gave me was so far above and beyond the normal experience, and I m so grateful for her perseverance...most people would have sent me packing after the first email when I said I had no proof of purchase! We look forward to our newly repaired Jane BiSectional! Thank you Amy, and thank you Gus!
My experience with the Gus Design Group is not from a buyer perspective (mind you I did try out a piece or two - comfy and slick); but from a working relationship. My business offers 3D Matterport virtual reality tours - with Realtors as my target audience as a service.
Gus had reach out as they needed to show their line for their 2021 catalogue to an audience whom would normally get a live walk through of the showroom but could not due to covid restrictions.
They had everything in place and ready to go on the professional side for the job and showed great interest in return on my services! Thinking outside the box as they say and always looking at fresh and engaging customer user experiences to deliver your products is a great reflection of a company and where they are headed.
