Great meal...good price. The best salmon I have had since I broiled my own...perfectly cooked
Okay happy hour with some cheap, yet satisfying food options. Happy hour beer flight of four craft beers was way overpriced at $12. However, the pours seemed like half pint size. Would much rather preferred smaller pours at a lower price so that I could order a full pint of the beer I liked best.
Went there for first time after club meeting in Radnor. Heard about this place for years! Was not disappointed. Food and drinks great. Service was excellent. Looking forward to returning after next month's meeting. I travel from Morgantownn to attend my club meeting, otherwise I'd come more often!
Gullifty's used to be a great place to go. Not anymore. Their standards have fallen. The calamari was fried in oil that was too cold, causing the food to be soggy. When it was sent back, all they kitchen did was throw it back in the oil again. Now it came out too dark and soaked in oil. The mixed drink I ordered had very little alcohol at all, though that is not reflected in the price. My husband's salad contained precooked and rubbery bacon. My salad was presented as having fig in it. Though technically it did, the figs were tiny and dried, not fresh. The service was great, but the food was more than lacking. After over a decade of patronizing the establishment I strongly doubt we will ever return.
We used Gullifty's for my big birthday bash last night. We had 40 guests and Gullifty's gave us a fantastic event. Food was excellent (the option to replenish apps gives lots of great choices and plenty of food), drinks were great, but most importantly, the service was topnotch. Managers Jason and Mark made sure the planning was workable. Servers Ebony and Mia somehow took care of every single person and their many drink orders quickly and with a positive attitude. I liked Gullifty's before; I'm an even bigger fan now.
PS. Get the dessert. Always.
Mediocre in all the ways that you might expect, but plenty of seating, food is decent enough, and prices are good
Good location. Nice looking place. Modestly priced. Food is okay. Service is millenials on cell phones. Probably best for a few drinks while watching sports.
Gullifty's quality has declined, which is too bad. It used to be one of my favorite lunch places.
The beer cooler was broken today, yet beer was advertised everyplace you looked, including on the portable reader board propped up outside the front door. Disappointment #1.
The pop machine was broken, and the other one wasn't serving cold pop. Disappointment #2
Had to send the appetizer back because the chefs completely ignored our request for extra crispy fries. The cheddar ale fries were tasty, a lot salty, but unfortunately they arrived back at the same time as our entrees. Disappointment #3
I still have grit in my teeth from the crab cake sandwich. Every bite was gritty, every other bite contained cartilage. Disappointment #4
No, I didn't speak with the manager. I didn't want my concerns dismissed and disregarded with a discount on the meal. I ate it. I'll pay for it. I won't be going back.
No thanks. Plenty of restaurants in the area that actually server food that tastes good. If you like stale, greasy, crowded and bland - Gullifty's is the place to be.
Not impressed with the food, service, or atmosphere. Ordered the Filet medium rare, it came medium and poorly seasoned, it resembled a steak on the 2 for 20 menu at Chili's. I ordered two drinks only got one, waitress had no recollection of the other one. The fried cheese that they claim is "famous" is awful, like really bad; frozen mozz sticks are 100x better. My wife ordered a small specialty pizza for herself, they brought her the complete wrong dish, took a half hour to get her the correct order by the time it came we were all done eating and she left hungry on a $100 ticket. Very displeased overall, go somewhere else if you want a satisfying experience.
Had amazing burger experience here! Highly recommend! The burgers are so juicy and great fries too!
Went here for the first time. The food was good but the portions are pretty small compared to other places around it.
I got lunch special. The chicken diablo flatbread was decent. Lots of things to pick out from though. They got some really good sauces though.
In addition, to the small portions the prices are fairly high. But I still enjoyed it
The service was ok but the food was by far the worst I have ever had. Pancakes that were hard and crumbled. Home fries and popcorn chicken that was cold. Drinks not mixed well at all. All around a terrible experience in terms of food. We barely touched any of it!!
The food is really good and the service was excellent
Gullifty's is awesome for adults, and families. They have live music outside every Friday night! The food is great. From popcorn chicken to alligator tacos, they have just about everything. They have an indoor bar and an outdoor bar. Plenty outdoor seating. Not all of the seating is at the bar. The inside is big and nice. I recommend that you go to Gullifty's if you are ever dropping by Bryn Mawr.
We went with a group of folks. The place was EMPTY but for us..about 35 people.
While 35 people is alot, a reservation was placed ahead of time. They assigned TWO servers for that many people...not nearly enough. It took 20 minutes to get water. 25 minutes for drinks, 40 minutes to order food. 80 minutes to get served. Then add on several orders that were wrong. They took another 30 minutes to come out.
It is possible this place is good for locals. For me, NEVER AGAIN!
I always want to give the highest rating possible. However, on a Sunday evening, the service was sub par. We ate at the bar and several times had to ask for drinks, water, etc. The bartenders/servers were more interested in their co-workers or the Oscars on TV. The food was okay, but the service was not, unfortunately.
Four of us stopped by for dinner before going to the movies. Got seated immediately and server showed up about a minute later very eager to please but a bit nervous as she only started 2 weeks ago. Very good and substantial beer selections. We had 2 Turkey burgers, a portobello mushroom sandwich, a salmon sandwich, and 2 of us showed a popcorn chicken app. Food was very good, and service was mostly good-- our server's knowledge of at least one menu item was spotty due to inexperience but she was apologetic and friendly, pleasant, and eager to please; I'm sure she'll be great with more seasoning.
Guliftys beer list is extensive. They usually have 40 rotating beers on tap. The bartender (Shane) was very knowledgeable and very nice.
Food not too great after 10 on a Friday. Beware the grilled salmon, it's a strip a little over 1 inch wide. The kale arugula steak salad was all kale, no arugula, otherwise ok. Weak drinks, slow beer service, first one flat. Overall not too impressed.
Great food, excellent staff, john taffer would be proud..
I miss the old menu, to be honest. New menu happened with the renovation a few years back. Place is always busy but be prepared for the noise. One open room with little to no dividers up. I also noticed the wait staff is different each time I go.
The staff was really friendly to us and the food was great!
Very good food. Very nice waitress. We did have to eat inside due to lantern flies, but no fault of theirs. Will definitely be back.
Service was fine, food was awful. Nachos were bland. I m not sure what to say about the Chicken Fajitas. They certainly weren t sizzling, there was maybe one piece of green pepper and one piece of red pepper and a bunch of soggy onions. The Chicken was lukewarm. I ve had better fajitas at Chi Chi s. We ordered a plate of guacamole to go with the Fajitas and I asked for a handful of chips to dip. I received a handful of chips and a $4 charge to go along with it. Not a good experience.
