What a lovely place. If you have group of people then you can enjoy and make more memories. If your going out for evening with you loved one yes it s good place even. You can taste the beer and you have limit for your drinks. Even you can carry out the Togo beers to have at you home. Food very delicious no words we loved all the dishes. Mussels are our favorite. Even the flat breads are so tasty. Overall wonderful place.

Ive been here multiple times with my wife and kids and I haven t left a review but on 10/10/20 we had a great host he mad the both of us laugh with good jokes and he was quite knowledgeable about ye facility and most things that happened in the facility . But imagine my surprise when he informed me and my wife that he wasn t even really a host . So this review is solely based on Cody the Trashman , me and my wife would love to see him more often when we stop by .

We were there for my birthday. I am not a beer fan, so I have no idea about what to drink. Asked to taste it, but was told I had to taste it from a flight or order it. Disliked my beer. Ugh
I was disappointed I did not receive cake, candle to celebrate it. My son mentioned it and had asked about it. I expected more from an upscale restaurant like this at Guinness.

Felt like a lot of things were backwards at this place. There is more than ample space between outdoor tables, so those within a party should theoretically able to completely enjoy each other's company without worrying about their safety or the safety of those around them. So it was surprising that we were scolded simply for standing up at our own table while other customers and employees walked through the indoor and outdoor common areas without proper protection or, in some cases, without masks at all. Also, many parts of the huge indoor area leading to the bathroom - including a second bathroom right near the front of the building - were roped off leading to more people needlessly being squeezed closer together than they had to be. It honestly seemed like the rules were designed for appearances and to help turn tables as quickly as possible, not for the actual health and safety of customers.

Loved getting to go here! The tours are a blast and getting to try all of the different beers that Guinness is working on is something really special. Stopping by the gift shop and getting a glass engraved is also a great way to get a souvenir that's a little more special.

Really really enjoyed this place but it is kinda overpriced. $17 for a flight (4 glasses, 6 oz each) and $8-9 for a draft. The food was expensive as well. We got the crab poutine fries and they were just ok. The actual place is really cool though. They do tours (book online ahead) or you can walk around on your own. There is a great outdoor area with tables and games. Lots of people and families there on the weekend. There was some live music on the weekend as well. The place is really cool and I would recommend going at least once, but just expect to spend a good amount of money.

I attended a fundraiser on second floor. Outside were Adirondack chairs in circles so friends could sip on a Guinness and talk. Corn hole was being played and there is a lawn for other games in time. Nice bar on first floor with a huge gift shop. Second floor restaurant is open Thursday thru Sunday. Food served was very nice. I overheard their Del Monico steak was delicious. The bar has many choices even a Hibiscus brew. I favor Guinness and a slow pour. All mastered well by their very gracious and efficient staff. Well worth a trip to this Guinness Brewery with a group of friends.

Went to grand opening. Easy to get to off the highway and had a wonderful staff (especially the bartender Jason) to help from parking to shopping and taste testing. Had a fantastic time and would recommend to anyone from beer snob to beginner. Also they have lots of cool things in the gift shop like glasses that you can get engraved.

A great start to some experimental brews by Guinness. Stopped in early on a Saturday afternoon in February and the place was already packed! Plenty of outdoor space to enjoy a beer aside from the indoor bar. However this might be one of the more expensive breweries to visit. Flight prices were not readily available and ranged from $4-6 a glass, better off getting a pint of something.

5000 stars. I know it s just because of corona but the QR scanning and ordering straight from the phone is phenomenal. Drinks showed up in under one minute. Food came in under 5 minutes. You don t have to interact with anyone and can just peace out whenever you re done. No waiting for the waiter. The brown bread and butter was ridiculous and the Tangerine Pomegranate Ale was very light and fruity. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place if you re in the area. Long wait for outside seating on a summer Saturday night but we were sat immediately indoors no wait.

Really nice place to grab a beer. All different types, IPA, Vintage, Wheat Lemondrop just to name a few. Also has a few different places to get food, and big field to play on. All ages are welcome, you have to be over 21 to get the blue band that allows you to drink.

My friends and I came here for the first time today and had a fantastic time. It was clean, inviting and a great experience. The staff was friendly and helpful, and everyone seemed to enjoy their food. I highly recommend getting a flight and trying the different types of Guinness. I've been to the location in Dublin and there were beers I had not tried before. I really enjoyed the white ale and the triple berry. Make sure you keep your receipt so you can get a discount in the gift shop. I ended up taking home a crowler of the white ale since that isn't available just yet for bottling.

We didn't have a chance to do a tour, so if you're coming with a larger group during the weekend, look in advance. Smaller groups may or may not have issues as well. There is a capacity for tours. We did a "self-guided" tour after we ate and were impressed with just that.

I will definitely come back again.

The weather is great! The beer is great and life is great! I love the inside and outside bars. Make sure you check out the inside bar because they have experimental beers only brewed in Baltimore, Maryland. I will be back! My pictures don't do this place justice.I highly recommend this place. Cheers!

Sooo I ve lived in this area for most of my life and I had NO idea that this place existed... This place has an excellent selection of beers and food with a restaurant included. The place was absolutely PACKED!!! The staff was knowledgeable and everything was perfect. There are fire pits outside... A few bars inside... The atmosphere is great!!! Do not expect TVs as they don t have them... It appears that the establishment does not want to draw that sort of crowd... Loved it and will be back

The tour and tasting combined were about 1.5 hours long. Small group size and tour guide was very knowledgeable of both Guiness History and the brewing process from start to finish. Four different beers were available for the tasting. Two were commercially available and two were experimental. Besides the tour, experimental beers can be purchased in taproom or brought home in a growler.

So the brewery is really cool and very new and modern looking. and they have a lot of the history and technology available on display throughout the building. There really isn't much of a reason to go on a guided tour and pay the $15. all the tour gives you is just a little background on things and you can see some equipment that you wouldn't otherwise be able to see. but now that I think about it that equipment was behind a glass wall so you can still look at everything. Then they let you taste for different beers at the end and they are okay but again maybe not really worth $15. overall it's a cool place to go to the bar has a lot of cool drinks and appetizers available and you will learn a lot. It's not the worst $15 I've ever spent so I would advise everybody to to give it a shot.also don't go to the restaurant and is way overpriced and talking thirty to forty dollars for the entrees crazy expensive.

After a rocky opening they are starting to hit on all eight cylinders. Reasonable prices, cool space, iconic beer . . . what more could you ask for? This place will be a great community amenity. Now if we can just get them to run a shuttle from Catonsville.

Guinness is one of the the things my grandfather and I have bonded over. I moved up to Baltimore a few months ago and I was excited to come and visit the brewery. It was reasonably busy, the service was wonderful, and they had a wonderful selection of Guinness on tap. I will undoubtably be back as they have my grandfathers favorite beer on tap, Guinness Milk Stout. I believe he will have to make a special trip up here now.

The Guinness storehouse in Baltimore is amazing. Excellent beer, perfect setting and excellent staff.

After our food took over 30 mins to prepare, Shaymus and Clayton were huge helps in resolving the issue and expediting the process. Thanks to them for making our visit that much better!

Amazing tour guide learned a lot about the beer and how to properly drink it. Great history of the building and site it sits on. Bartenders were great and very knowledgeable about the beers they brewed in the taproom. The food was done super fast enormous portions with each dish and delicious.
Only down fall I could see was getting tables cleared off but it was super busy and it s seat yourself so hard to keep up with.
Definitely will be back in the future for more beer and food.
Highly recommend buying advance tickets for the tasting and tour.

The site has lots of potential for a future brewery. The test tap room was okay - they seem to still be working out the kinks with a lot of their set up, like the barrel tables that don't seat larger groups well or the 4 beer flights served without a platform to carry the mini glasses on. I look forward to checking out this location again in the future once it's been opened longer and more of the brewery is up and running.

Definitely a fun place to visit once a long while....

Definitely a fun place to visit once a long while. The beer is great and moderately priced. The food is more of a bistro feel and price, rather than something you'd find at an Irish brewhouse. The majority of the beer is "experimental", brewed and flavored in the greater Baltimore area. Guinness does frequent collaborations with coffee companies and distilleries in the craft of their beers at this location (eg coffee stout and bourbon stout, aged in bourbon barrels for just under a year). The place is very spacious and clean, albeit loud and difficult to converse in over a beverage. The service is stellar: the brewery employs a lot of people! The bathrooms are very large and extremely well taken care of. There are various exhibits behind glass panels scattered throughout the building, showing various tools and history behind Guinness and brewing. The building also sports a gift shop, which is well-stocked with Guinness merchandise (shirts, hats, et cetera) as well as actual beer you could buy to take home (most of the merchandise emphasizes the Maryland location, so the Guinness logo would be colored with the colors of the Maryland state flag).

This is an amazing place! The guided tour is worth the time and don't forget the tasting. $10 is worth sampling four beers, and they're not tiny shot glass samples either. Haven't eaten at the restaurant, but from what I saw on the menu, I'm very certain I won't be disappointed.

I really wanted to like this place, but my friends and I were all disappointed. We ate in the restaurant section on the top floor. They don't offer the normal bar menu up there. Everything is very expensive with super small portions. The waitstaff was a total mess. I wasn't told until all the food arrived that what I ordered was sold out, and that really seemed unprofessional to me. Our waitress totally disappeared at the end of the night and we had to flag down another server to go find her. She took about a half hour to settle our bill when we were just fed up and wanting to leave. It took her so long that we were the only people left waiting while the staff was cleaning up to close the restaurant. The only good thing I can say is that all the food and beer did taste quite good, even if it was way overpriced. (To give you an idea of the restaurant pricing, the cheapest full sized meal was an $18 hamburger). I would possibly go here for drinks with friends again, but I'd never get a meal here ever again.

Super Cool Place! We stopped here on our beer tours of Baltimore and while I don't like beer, everyone else in our group loved the beer and the atmosphere was just awesome. So much seating and space for everyone. It was busy but there was so much space to spread out that it didn't feel like it. They have super cool lounging chairs outside as well as countless picnic tables and a huge field of grass in the fenced area for kiddos to run around and play. Many bars for ordering both indoor and outdoor. We did not eat here but the food we saw that other people had both looked and smelled delicious. Thanks for a great afternoon!

It was horrible. Bartenders were so so slow. Had to wait on line 15-20 minutes to get A beer. Order fries it was chips. And they don't bring it. You have to go to the end of the room to pick it up. I will never recommend this brewery.

I attended a networking event at the brewery recently. It was my first time there and I was amazed at how gorgeous the inside and outside of the building was! Their selection of beer is off the chart! I don t like traditional Guinness beer, and to my surprise they had so many different types of beer to try! Their IPAs are delicious! After the event a few friends and I went to the bar to grab a snack. The food was good as well.

Fun, informative tour, with tastings available.
Reservations are recommended for the tour of the factory, but there are some walk-in slots available.
The tour is a relatively quick overview of the brewing process, and the facility in Baltimore. It incorporates some fun Guinness Trivia, and highlights some of the experimental products being produced at this location.
Conveniently located minutes away from BWI.

At 3pm not too busy, but got crowded after 5pm as businesses let out. Finger food available now, the restaurant opens in a few weeks. Very friendly staff. Beer was very good, but not available for purchase to take home yet. They are finding their way right now. Baltimore should be proud that Guinness has opened at this site to produce research beers. Their motto is "Anything we can dream up, we get to brew up." Aside from their experimental beers, you can also get their stout, but it comes from Dublin.

While it may not be my bucket list of visiting the original brewery, it was still an experience to remenber. Went for my birthday with my cousin and we had a blast. The tour was entertaining and educational, the guide was funny, and, the tasting was phenomenal. Food and more beer sealed the deal. Corned beef was on point. Only downside was the overpriced merch. Pretty sure the website was cheaper. We are definitely going back for my cousin's birthday!

There is really nothing like the Guinness brewery in this part of MD. It is enormous! The outdoor area is a great spot to hang out spring through fall. There is live music most nights indoors, and outdoors on summer weekends. Then there is the eclectic selection of beers. I love trying the different expiremental brews, and I appreciate how clear it is what is brewed in Dublin and what's brewed there. Finally, the small menu is very good and quite affordable. I especially like the fries and poutine.

Went for the brewery tour and to sample some of the experimental beers and was overall not disappointed. I was under the impression we would be able to see more of the blonde area. I definitely plan to go back. I did not know much about beers or prefer them, but my boyfriend and I had always seen the big "Guinness" sign on our drive home, so we were curious. I would recommend the free tour that gives you a well-rounded history on Guinness. Our tour guide was very friendly and informative, and even gave us tips on how to enjoy beers correctly in the tasting portion afterwards for $15 each. I'm looking forward to trying their restaurant as well. Honestly, no complaints.

We visited from Little Rock, AR to celebrate the 30th birthday of a major Guinness beer aficionado and we were not disappointed! The complex is absolutely incredible. Our first encounter was with the most fabulous bartender ever, Clayton, and from there it just got better! He introduced every beer to perfection and continued to make our visit enjoyable and memorable. Our tour with tastings was extremely well-presented and informative. We will definitely be talking about this for years to come and hopefully will be able to make a trip back to enjoy more of this remarkable community!

This brewery is great. Went with a few friends and we all had a great time. Have always been a fan of Guinness and am glad they decided to open their brewery in this area. There is tons of space and things do/see here. Outside they have a lot of places to sit and play games. There are plenty of shaded areas and places in the sun. The inside bar area was great as well. There are a lot of people trying to order drinks but bartenders are very attentive and keep the lines moving. Sample several of the experimental beers. You can buy pints or pick out flights to sample. We also had food at the bar. Very good for bar food. Highly recommend checking this place out when you have the chance.

Very impressed with the brewery, the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. I took the tour {$15} which was worth the price as 4 beers were included and our guide was very knowledgeable as she spent time in Dublin (college student) and had a lot of first hand information. I learned a lot about the history of Guinness! I ate at the 1817 restaurant at the bar and ordered the Guinness stew which came very quickly {5 minutes!} and was very delicious. Had a 200th anniversity export Stout to wash it down! A very nice experience overall and I will return. They have an awesome facility with a staggering amount of room to expand. Hope to get back soon!

My first time At Guinness in Baltimore and it has been a success. The food was high quality and the beer was good. The atmosphere is much better than I thought it would be as the facility is beautiful. What sets this place apart from the others is the service. Every single person who checked in with us tonight (and there have been quite a few!) have been wonderful. They all seem to enjoy their jobs and chatting with Clayton this evening was very enjoyable. We will definitely come back!

If you like beer, this is a must visit This is a great place to meet people for awesome beer. The tap room is a lively, energetic bar area. Lots of room around the bar and large booths for for a more cozyfeel. It was cold and rainy while I was there, but the outside bar looks awesome. I went for beer and brunch and was not disappointed. Their experimental and Maryland only brews were really good. I got a milk stout and amber ale.
As for the food, I got the boxty and a friend got their breakfast sandwich. They were large portions and delicious. Cinnamon rolls were okay - not the best I've had and a little dry. Our server was super helpful and nice. Wish you didn't have to plan so far in advance for a brewery tour however.
