We engaged Anthony to sell my daughter's condo. I contacted 3 realtors by email, each of whom came highly recommended. One had some else return my call the next day, one got back to me the next day, but Anthony called me within 2 minutes of me sending the email. We spoke for a few minutes and arranged to meet the next day. I was originally a little leery to hire him because I assumed he would be a fast paced arrogant type sales guy who just wanted to get my listing and charge me a high commission. I couldn t have been more wrong. From the moment we met Anthony, he impressed my wife by taking his shoes off in our foyer before we even asked. He was the only agent to do so. He spent over an hour with us telling us what we could do to get our home ready so that it would show in its best light. He offered complementary staging advice as well as a home watch service which would check on our house every three business days. Anthony listed our home after we were previously listed with another firm for over 24 months. When we first met with our agent in 2017, we told her that we had no idea of the market and asked her to suggest a fair list price to sell the house within three months. My relocation did not start until June 2017. I explained to her that if we were gone by September we would be very happy. Long story short our house sat on the market for almost 2 years with this agent who brought us 3 different offers that fell apart . Although I can t fault her for her effort, I do think her due diligence was lacking. The first buyer backed out due to a radon issue that was only slightly elevated. The last two buyers had trouble with their loan process.
