This Company is abysmal - excuse after excuse. Not only did it take 6 extensions to close my loan and 2 days to fund, but I rarely got a returned phone call. Found them through lending tree, where they promised the world, and fell short on all promises. Go with someone else.
I just refinanced my home(this was my second time using Guaranty Federal Mortgage)and what a BREEZE it was! As Chris stated over the phone many times, he has a lot of people behind the scenes that make a complicated job appear easy. In my opinion, this is a client's dream come true! Amazing communication and execution! Chris is very complimentary of his staff and I think that's incredibly important...I live over 250 miles away and would use GFM again in a heartbeat.

Amazingly quick and great rate too. If you have good credit and basically some equity, then this is as easy as it gets. I closed in 20 days from the day I locked and they told me how to accomplish this and it was TRUE. If you can turn in your paperwork and get the appraiser access to the house you are good. Call one or two other banks and then call GFM, you will be happy.

If being honest, prompt, and personable are characteristics that matter to you - give them a call. Their staff told us exactly what they needed and what to expect from the beginning and never wavered. GFM closed our loan more than a week faster than those other guys tout on all the local radio stations. Along the way, we presented some road blocks to them that they graciously navigated. I think the lender we used previously would have told us to get lost or would've increased their fees.
