I actually believe my husband and I would have had a better experience with this company had we gotten a better mortgage broker. Our file was picked up by an employee of theirs which was Troy Herring. We started working with him at the end of January on the purchase of a new home. As the process started rolling out, the lack of communication became an issue. An issue to the point that I had to call other people in their office to tell me what was actually going on. The day before what was supposed to be our closing date, I finally reached Dean. Dean explained to me what exactly was going on with my file and that there was a stipulation on our loan request that we did not meet. Mind you it was an issue with the length of employment on my end. Now this was news to me because I had been told that our credit was the issue when that wasn't the hold up. Also had another lender check into it and she informed me that it was in fact an employment length issue (took her 2hrs). This is information that Troy had known in the door. Something that I had discussed with him when we 1st put our application in and was told everything would be fine, but to my surprise it was not. At the end if it, we lost 3100 and some change due to the lack of honesty even though he claimed he was being transparent. When I spoke to my realtor about the situation, she said that to get off his back about us, he offered her other clients to work with. Lol. What a joke. And im not really sure if it was purposely done to run us through the ringer or if it was just complete incompetence on his part, but I do know we were lied to and the lie was drug out until it couldn't be anymore. The sad part is that I usually don't waste time writing reviews, but definitely thought it necessary to tell the story. Oh and he never did contact us back. We got the letter from Dean in an email.
