Not entirely sure why this company can't seem to get payroll checks issued correctly on a consistent basis. Our employees have rarely received correct paychecks over the course of the last month and a half.

GTM was recommended to us by our CPA. We have been very happy with their services. They are extremely professional and responsive and help us handle household payroll so that we know we are doing it correctly. I've been quite concerned over the incorrect W2/W3 forms I mistakenly filed for 2010 and 2011 and was greatly relieved to get an email from Michelle Kolozy today saying she would process the correct forms as soon as I provided her certain information. And she did. Within 2 hours after I provided the information needed, I received an email from her saying she had filed the correct forms on line, with copies attached for me.
The worst. Constantly making errors on payroll. Sales rep was m.i.a. at returning emails. Bottom of the barrel for payroll companies. So many better options in the area. Consider this a warning on using them. It's bad. Real bad. Very frustrating experience.Glad I left.

I am an Englishman in New York. Back in the UK we hear much about the service ethic in American businesses. And you experience this regularly in shops (stores) and restaurants. However, in my experience, the whole service quality levels drop through the floor when you enter the world of telephone help-desks. I end up biting my fist and bashing my head against the wall every time I call Time Warner or my health insurance company. But when it comes to GTM, they have consistently exceeded my expectations and made me realise what true quality service is. Customer service improved after a few initial concerns. Very prompt and courteous replies now. If you are in NY and need to pay weekly, the checks don't arrive on time but the situation is remedied by use of personal check - GTM does the withholdings.
