Lovely place to visit. Wished they had Marine saltwater fish and corals.
Cafe is well stocked with a varied selection.
Only issues were that the coffee machine made the drinks to a warm/hot temperature which quickly cooled down to luke warm in a short time.
Also their was no clotted creme for the scones. (These issues wouldn't stop me ordering the same food and drink again as the taste of them outweighed the temperature etc etc)

Exceptional selection of everything for the garden together with quality gifts and clothes. Plants look really healthy. Didn't, use the cafe this time but it is very good. Would have given 5stars but their system didn't give the correct discount on a couple of items.

Fabulous experience this morning when all the staff I came in contact with helped me do a speed shop for tomato grow bags. Lovely helpful guy even loaded my trolley, pushed it to the car and carefully loaded onto back seat. Then I introduced him to my special passenger in the boot and they made great friends. Really looking forward to taking my guidedog puppy to the garden centre when he is let loose on the world and is fully vaccinated. Thanks everyone that was such a massive help. Jenny M

This is probably our favourite garden centre, although its's a 70 mile round trip from where we live in Powys. Not a huge fan of Xmas displays in shops normally, but Grosvenor's is up there with the best. Bought Hundreds of Pounds worth of plants there, and will continue to do so. You would have got five stars but for your restaurant. At best, it's OK. but many times, I've looked at the meat on offer, and it looks dry and unappetising, as though it's been under the heat lamps for far too long. And the veg - whilst it's plentiful - it has no taste! You need to improve it guys, as it's vastly overpriced for the mediocre quality. My wife and I won't use it again (when it reopens) until you do. THEN you might get that 5 star rating! We now eat somewhere on the way home!

Good sized garden centre, which isn't just a garden centre anymore. Huge selection of indoor, and outdoor plants. Grow your own veg, and trees. Not a bad sized restaurant, which is always busy, manned by friendly staff. Good selection of garden furniture, and ornaments. Outdoor clothing, kids toys, pet toys and accessories. Farm shop selling frozen food. Kitchen wares. On a separate area, there's an aquatic section selling pond fish, and tank fish and accessories, sheds, and summer houses.

Lovely breakfast, cafe well organised for social distancing. As people left their table, staff cleaned the tables, chairs and even the menu thoroughly. In the time of Covid, it is reassuring to see staff working hard to ensure you can eat in their cafe with confidence.

I have been many times here over the years.

I have been many times here over the years.
It has lots of well maintained plants and fish.
Lots of pretty ornaments and pots to adorn your home and scented candles.
The cafe is great if it's quiet otherwise its a nightmare! There was no cutlery and we had to wait for some. Tables had not been cleared so we had to move used plates to another table to get a seat.
I chose a carvery and it was luke warm, the Turkey was dried out it was pretty poor. especially as food is pricey!
We were kept company by a crew of 4 house flies that happily and persistantly zoomed all around us and homed in on our dreadful dinner, This was in the middle of winter!

I bought a man s shirt recently. A York brand. Sadly after wearing just once and then being washed threads were showing, seams burst and the material bubbled. So back to the Grosvenor to get a refund. No problem there but the department More

Fantastic aquarium area. My daughter and I loved feeding the enormous carp. Tasty food in the cafe but I do find the getting it confusing with all the different counter, for seemingly different things, but you don't know what they have or which counter to go to. That might just be me though

One of the biggest garden centres I have been to. Nice restaurant but too much pastry and not much filling in the mushroom and bacon plait. Wouldn't have that again but saw other interesting food to try. Could do with a few more direction signs. Went round in circles trying to find tills. Enjoyed the place. Definitely one to revisit when next in the area.
