This place made me feel like James Bond. Beautiful and elegant.

Staying for the Bluenose Regatta in a guest well. Also, visited the Marine activity center.
This is a wonderful club and very welcoming to invited guests.

I am a new resident to the area and still unfamiliar with my surroundings. As I was driving up Jefferson today, I spontaneously decided to find a spot to walk and take some pictures of the lake and ice. I pulled into the GPYC (not aware it was the GPYC) by chance and noticed the gate arm was up. I parked and really enjoyed a nice walk around the area. It's beautiful. I can imagine how incredibly vibrant it is in the summer. Being a child of YC parents, raised in the summers on Lake Michigan.
I was approached by a gentleman who politely informed me I was trespassing and I made my way to the exit. It was a pleasant, yet cold experience....lol

Happy 65th anniversary to the graduation classes of 1950 and 1951, Grosse Pointe High School.
We are enjoying an absolutely wonderful banquet here tonight, Thursday 9/22/15.
We love the Grosse Pointe Yacht Club and come here as often as possible.

Pretty cool place, went there on my friends boat. The staff were cool.

Polite and professional staff is an understatement of ghastly proportions. Those people go so far beyond just doing their jobs that each of them should be used as an example for training any customer service worker. Truly special group of folks. Wonderful food and amenities combined with spectacular views all leave me hoping that the OIS Muskie tournament continues to be held there. They really rolled out the red carpet for us veterans and our sponsors. Thank you GPYC.

Beautiful place if you can keep your boat there. Maybe on the expensive side. But great people and clean place to stay.

The ambiance far out weighs the food ....at least for the event I just attended that was $40.00 a person for lunch.

This club is top notch! The people are great! The food is fabulous! They go out of their way to make sure you are happy! There are so many wonderful events planned for all ages. My kids love the swim team and sailing! We love this place for so many reasons.

Very rich history, just feels right, the few times that we've been here.

Where do you go when you wish to carelessly spend massive amounts of money on caviar, 500 year old scotch, and insanely expensive nautical equipment? GPYC, of course. I like to come here on weekends to enjoy the company of my fellow wealthy compatriots, however while still ensuring they are not as wealthy as I am. Sometimes I will come here after a stressful day at the company where I will just want to wind down, have a glass of fine bourbon, and count my money. Just last week one of my long-time factory workers had the audacity to ask me for a raise. I ridiculed him in front of the other executives and threatened to move the plant to Mexico if he ever felt so foolish to ask again. Admirable leadership and the pressures of inheriting an established company from your father can be very taxing on someone (and believe me, I hate taxes more than anyone). This is why I appreciate the GPYC, because they understand that even the powerful and wealthy need to relax sometimes. By the way, if that waiter brings me the wrong bottle of Cabernet again, I'll make sure that poor sap never works in this town for as long as my family name lives on. Muahahahhahaha

A beautiful club where I can dine with like minded people...and it's safe to park the Bentley.

It was lovely, decorated beautifully for Christmas. The food was delicious and service was wonderful.

I have been coming to this club with my family since I was knee high to a grasshopper. Old school classic. Wonderful and charming in every single way.

We recently had our wedding at GPYC and it was an unbelievable experience! We had a more elaborate catering menu that the Chef Kolby was more than accommodating to. Karleen was also an absolute trooper through the entire process and kept our very large family on time and extremely organized throughout the entire process. We could not have pulled off our wonderful day without the support of the GPYC team thank you for a truly wonderful experience with the utmost patience, accommodation, professionalism and friendly attitude!
