Great facility supported by resident tax dollars and a real incentive to reside in the Farms. The property taxes reflect the services and facilities accessible to all Farms residents. The best place to live around Detroit bar none!
Nice park, you need to live in Grosse Pointe Farms to get in.
Extremely beautiful private park!! Swimming, tennis. Basketball. Gorgeous views of the lake. Not a better place to spend a summer day in Michigan. Came here for a family party. The best. Its clean and very well kept. Bravo to the city for this gem
The park itself is very pleasant, but the fact that it's gated and private to residents just feels icky. It's disappointing that other people in GP don't even see that as somewhat problematic. There's also no diversity at all, both in GPF and at the park especially.
I think this a wonderful park for anything. They have wonderful workers and plenty to do
We walk the park almost daily. We always comment on how beautiful and well maintained it is. We are fortunate to have this jewel in our community.

Probably be 5 stars if they would let me in. Apparently I have to own a mansion in Grosse Pointe to get a pass. Go figure.
Beautiful beautiful place. Great venue for parties in the rec hall- had my graduation party there. It's a beautiful facility. Pool is awesome, so is shuffle board, pool and ping pong! Not so awesome? E-coli infected beach, no action for 2 years. Lost hope to lay out on that sand about a year ago. Also what's up with there not being a lifeguard present? Still an area where people can drown... Not safe even with the sign. Tennis courts could really use some lighting- and the gate guys could relax a little when you bring more than one guest.
I love the "Thirsty Thursday" sailboat races in the summer.
This year round private lakefront park has beautiful grounds and numerous amenities for residents of Grosse Pointe Farms, MI. Located on Lakeshore Dr., on Lake St. Clair, this park has wells to dock your boat, a pool, beach area, splash pad and kiddie pool in the summertime; and an ice rink and warming center in the wintertime, just to name a few. As well as offering breathtaking views of the lake from the lookout deck and the gazebo! This park is beautiful year round!
Beautiful venue that Grosse Pointe Farms residents should be proud of. So close to the Lake. Beautiful.
This park has it all...pools, marina, clubhouse, pool table, ping pong, air hockey, basketball, shuffleboard, sand beach, kayaks, tennis courts, paddleball courts, kiddie pools, kids play ground, gazebo, nighttime fire pit, fishing, observatory platform (watch freighters, sail boats), concession stand, and more. Clean changing rooms, lifeguards around the pools, security guard at the entrance and all the personnel are very friendly, courteous and helpful. We love this park!
Also, please ignore reviewer's comments from Kristy Currier since she is not factual in her review. The pier parks are open to all residents of the respective municipality they reside in. The residents contribute the necessary funding via property taxes to keep the parks beautiful, safe and fun.
