Seen a beautiful exhibition. Unzipped from the Stones. Fantastic. During this corona period, feel like I went to a concert (you).

Special museum. There various exhibitions. From old paintings to silver, vases, photography and beautiful architecture / artwork. Also well aligned with the current rules. Small is beautiful

What a beautiful building! A peace of art of itself.
Coffee is also good.
The current exposition by Daan is also a lot of fun, especially for kids maybe.
I Thought is was a bit small and we were done is less than an hour.

I liked how small and manageable this museum was. They had interesting displays. I especially liked the war expedition specific to Groningen. It felt extremely surreal. Would recommend :)

Very well organized exhibition about De Ploeg. Very informative and inspiring.

Three buildings that are semi-submerged as an archipelago with a walkway. Each has its own character and exhibition, with a studio and studio especially for children. Really recommended if you are in Groningen.

The exhibition with work by glass artist Chihuly is worth a visit.

You can see many different styles from different times.

Groningen, a beautiful city, and this museum pretty much sums up why this city is so worth visiting.
Classic and colourful paintings on the first floor, more modern art pieces on the second. It takes about 2 hours to see everything.

It really depends on the exhibition that they have. Currently they have Chihuly, a glass blowing artist who produces the most fantastical works of art. His exhibition is until the 5th if May.

The rest of the museum is good too but nothing overly spectacular. It is nice for a morning out doing something a little different. To repeat the exhibitions that they have are the main draw

Chihuly exhibition at the Groninger Museum. Was an impressive whole, where costs were spared. One of the security guards told us that the build has cost 6 weeks. This exhibition is well worth the visit. Can be visited until 5 May 2009.

A really nice and above all modern museum. Especially the light exhibition we liked very much. The staff is very helpful, friendly and can speak several languages.

If you like modern minimalism, portraits or glass art you can see a lot. I did not like the adopted art movements very much. Still, it was a nice experience. The building of the museum is great, the staff is friendly and speaks English, German and French.

To the exhibition of Chihuly. Very nice, the only thing that was not nice is that the gentleman of bank giro lotto you want to address at the entrance apparently does not know what means no.

I went to see a David Lachapelle exhibition and it was a great experience. Beautiful building.

The permanent collection is always fun. But Chihuly's exhibition is really fantastic! !!! Highly recommended!

"Rijksmuseum" of the north. Currently contains an exhibition on 100 years of women's suffrage. A lot of attention for our own suffragettes and a nice picture of the times.
In addition, the collection. I found the link with Groningen history beautifully highlighted. You get inspiration to view this part of the Netherlands a little better and more appreciation. The third element is an exhibition about design in daily life. Presented historically alongside modern in beautiful combinations. I thought it was a wonderful museum with a nice atmosphere. I will definitely go again.

This time to the Rolling Stones expo. Every disadvantage has its advantage, because due to the time slots there are no crowds and you can view the exhibition in peace. Which is also very nice and has something for everyone: art / culture / fashion and music of course! Recommended. Also nice if you are not a Zones fan (I think).

Museum is not large. Several different exhibitions. The available paintings were not well marked. Seen some beautiful paintings.

Nice, uncluttered museum. Unfortunately fairly high admission price, clear descriptions that make the exhibitions accessible. Visited the exhibition about Rodin, very interesting.

The Groninger Museum is a very special experience. The building impresses the special exhibits are great. We visited the glass art of Dale Chihuly. This American artist does blow glass into a very special and unique way to life. Impressive!

Surprisingly beautiful collection in a surprising building. Well worth the effort.

Seen exhibition of the Stones. Divided over 3 floors. There is an elevator. Only a limited number of visitors are allowed in. Mouth masks are mandatory throughout the visit. Well worth it, but I thought the one about David Bowie was really better.

Great museum to visit as a student. Groningen is known as a student city.

This museum immediately stands out for its striking color styles and shapes. It has a continuous cycle path and pedestrians can easily walk through at the Museum.

Lots of fun! You can do a lot of them. Paintings look of course, but children can also get to work themselves and there is also a shop and a restaurant

David Bowie was awesome. Nice rooms, friendly staff.

You must have just been here. Surprisingly good exhibitions every time. Craftsmanship, actually a work of art in itself. Both the museum and their exhibitions. Not to mention the exhibitors.

From world famous to classical, contemporary top to sophisticated concept art. You lack eyes.

Absolutely beautiful and interesting museum. I went to see an exhibition about the Romantic painters of the north and it was stunning. The location and architecture of the building are fascinating. Really recommend the visit.

Versatile museum with a varied selection of art, free coins for the lockers. Very nice.

I can not comment on the content of the museum but its surroundings. The construction is advancing in the canal and the coloring of its facades and its geometric shapes make it a must visit. Even if it rains.

Nice building, also very accessible if you have a disability.

It is a magnificent museum with exhibitions changing quite so often. The building was constructed by prominent Italian architect and designer Alessando Mendini and some of the exhibition is devoted to his oeuvre. Besides, there are plenty of modern art and classical fine art refrenced somehow with Groningen. The service here is very nice and you can get a free entrance if you are a student at Groningen. There are also handy workshop areas and a restaurant. In case you have some packs with you, there are free lockers to leave your luggage

It was a beautiful museum with beautiful art. Have only one question, where was the 'Night Watch'. I actually came to the Groninger museum to view it but could not find it ...

It is a beautiful museum with a fixed and a changing collection. Both beautifully presented. Whether it appeals to you is always personal with art, but the building and presentation are fine

Always interesting and surprising exhibitions, in a beautiful building that makes everything stand out even more. The museum also suits the city very well; a nice mix of old and new, stimulating, innovative and proud. I consider myself lucky to be able to live in a city with such a fantastic museum!

An extra star for the always hospitable, friendly and attentive staff. Added value not to be underestimated.

(PS The six-year-old also loves the museum, there is always something fun to do or see for the little curious fellow humans.)

One of the must sees when you are in Groningen. Constantly changing exhibitions in a very special building.

Fantastic museum! Bizarre and insane building of course, beautiful interplay with buildings in the area.

What a nice, impressive exhibition. You know that women's suffrage was not without a struggle and yet I was still impressed by the efforts that the ladies had to make to change three words in the law.
