Best food, best atmosphere, best wine and best staff........anywhere!!!
Great atmosphere and good service. Food was awesome.
Grace and Grits has excellent service, vibe, and most importantly food! If you re looking for succulent seafood in the Charleston area, this is your place!
Was quite pricy, but really very tasty. I was only there for drinks and appetizers.
3 of us had Sunday brunch. Make a reservation before you go. Had about a 30 minute wait. The wait was worth it. The food was delicious, the menu appealed to everyone and the quantities allowed for left overs.
This was my first time visiting and I will definitely be back. Oh, Anna was our server and despite being slammed she was great.
Food and service was amazing. We have been once for Dinner and another time recently for brunch and both times were well above expectations. Will definitely be going back!
Food was cold, waitress not attentive at all. To many other great places in Mt P and Charleston, first and last time. Bonus, patio is dog friendly!
I got the smoked Gouda grits and they were phenomenal. So smooth, so creamy, just perfect. I also had the biscuits and gravy and they were the the softest biscuits ever. This place was excellence all around! 12/10 would recommend.
$$$...Pricey but absolutely delicious. The poutine was crispy with heavenly gravy. The grits and seafood were amazing.
This establishment will not allow you in without taking your temperature; no thanks! I'm astonished the number of people who comply with a restaurant host with no medical credentials pointing a temp gun at your head to determine if you're "healthy" enough to enter!
Food was excellent. Server was very aggressive. He kept trying to upsell. I found him to be a little offputting. That said, the food was good enough for me to want to go back.
Loved their creamy grits! Try the Grit Flight to taste the variety of flavor options.
Great place, awesome food. Price was good for the amount of food and the quality
Great food and a good atmosphere. The grits were great and the food size were nice.
A wonderful brunch! We had the farro salad, the tenderloin benedict and the fried green tomatoes benedict and all were scrumptious. Our server was great and all the staff very nice and attentive. A great brunch experience!
My mother and I went to eat on Sunday around 1:30pm. The website says it closes at 2pm so we thought we would get a seat. When we walked in, they said that they had closed down the kitchen about 30 minutes before and weren t taking anymore customers. I understand that they needed to get ready for dinner but I don t think they should have their sign and website say they close at 2pm when they stop taking guests at 1pm. So just make sure you either call ahead or get there before 1pm on sundays!
Should have table cloths considering the prices. Tacky napkins very well worn. Not a family friendly menu.
Best dinner I have had in a long time! The flight of grits is genius. Menu is innovative and reasonably priced. Food is outstandingly delicious and service is splendid. Would definitely recommend!!
What an awesome place. Very unique way of serving grits! If you are looking for something different, this is the place.
The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was laid back, and the food was delicious.
Nice menu focused on local foods. Very lively bar scene and busy restaurant. Close to hotels
My husband and I went for the first time this evening and everything was amazing. I had the crabcakes special, he had the fried chicken and both were excellent. We also tried the grit flight which is a must try with 4 flavors.
Great food and one of the best owners in town. I would highly recommend anything from them. Jeff and Frank are a class act!
This place is amazing! Great food and excellent service!
Great brunch spot. Fantastic food with fast and friendly service. Reasonably priced as well. I would reccomend making a reservation, especially on the weekends as it tends to get busy. Their outdoor patio is a perfect spot for dogs as well.
Beyond excellence brunch! Oyster Benedict was A-Mazing!!!
Had an absolutely wonderful meal. The waiter gave us an excellent wine recommendation that saved us 1/2 the price over what we were considering. Apparently, they are known for their succotash as someone at the bar said we had to try it. We didn't think it was to die for, but it was good and something different. The fried chicken was to die for! And the Grit Flight was really something special and sets this restaurant apart!
Maybe the best Shrimp n Grits I ve had in Charleston area. Flavorful and not boring like so many places. Loved the peppers and creamy sauce.
The atmosphere is off the charts. Gorgeous building with beautiful spacious dining area and a high end bar. The service was tremendous as well. My bartender was a local and very interesting to talk to as well passionate about the food they served.
In closing I was not a fan of their biscuits at all. They were lacking flavor and just not my cup of tea. Not important enough to effect my rating though.
...........
2nd visit wasn t as pleasant. Went for a business dinner that ran long. Waitress was clearly ready for us to leave as she stopped refilling the drinks and then took the drink cups away completely. At $40 per person I d expect much better. Made an uncomfortable situation for a business meeting. As I looked around I counted 5 other empty tables inside so it wasn t because of a need of the table.
Loved our dinner at chef's table. Excellent service, excellent food!
I cannot truthfully say the food is worth the price, but definitely good food.
Awesome food, great service and will go again when I'm in the area. Grits are awesome. Don't be scared of the combinations grits and fish.
This was the ultimate South Carolina grit experience we were looking for. Starting with the grit flight (pimento cheese, brussel pesto, peaches and cream, and blueberry), the local shrimp and smoked gouda grits and fried brussel sprouts. Our only regret is not saving room for the grit brulee -- don't make the same mistake, save room.
